The potential of this place is being wasted by poor management. The space itself is nice, with a…read morelarge outdoor dining patio, sound system, and video projectors. Unfortunately they only had one waitress working the 15 or so outdoor tables on a busy night when I went. On top of that, the kitchen was understaffed. Half of our food came out 1.5 hours after ordering, and the rest a half hour after that. I don't fault the waitress who was clearly overwhelmed and could not keep up with the barrage of people asking about their food and drink orders. When we asked for glasses of water, the waitress told us they don't have water available. First time I've been refused water at a restaurant. The DJ working couldn't decide whether he wanted to play music, the Ecuador-Colombia match, or nothing at all. There were constant crackling and popping sounds from the sound system every time he adjusted something. Food itself was just okay. My Colombian tamale was full of fatty pieces of beef and chicken. The guacamole on the "Catador delight" (tostone with guac and shrimp) was not fresh; the shrimp was overcooked. Corn tortillas were listed for half the items on the menu, but they said they only have flour tortillas available. There are better places for dinner and drinks around, and I don't think the food is worth ordering for takeout. Catador is the third restaurant/bar to occupy the space in recent years, and I don't see them lasting long with how poorly run it is.

Really nice experience! I reserved a table for 11:30 AM on a Friday, and I'm so glad we did. By…read more12:00 PM it was busy and when we walked through later at 1:30 PM it was PACKED! Go early. You're bound to have a more attentive server and better view. Food wise, it is pricy. For the price, I want to be blown away. It was yummy but you're paying for the ambiance and ease of dining at a popular attraction. My French dip sandwich was good, the French onion soup was good. The bucatini pasta had a strong lemon flavor but the cuttlefish was a nice addition. Pavlova was interesting! Had never tried it before for dessert. Wouldn't get it again but I appreciate the variety. I would come here again absolutely and sit outside but just know what you're paying for and what time you're going.

The property feels like a slice of the French countryside, with charming architecture, manicured gardens, and scenic views that make the atmosphere romantic, peaceful, and perfect for a date night or a special celebration. *AMBIANCE* The ambiance is exceptional and worth seeing at least once. There is a parking lot right next to the restaurant. The weather wasn't great when we came, but there is a very scenic patio area overlooking Monet's Bridge and the pond. We came with reservations but had a bit of a wait even though there were some empty tables. Additionally, we were celebrating a special occasion but that was not acknowledged anywhere so it felt slightly underwhelming. *FOOD* The food was well-prepared and several dishes were enjoyable. For starters, we tried the petites bouchées de poulet ($22) which are bite sized pickled buttermilk fried chickens, though the portions were small for the price. I got the coffee crusted 1855 bone-in beef short rib ($42) which was very delicious. The meal was good, but I was not blown away by the food. *SERVICE* Service was courteous and professional. There was a slight delay where the sides arrived a bit later with our entree, but other than that service was attentive. Overall, worth checking out once for the beautiful location but just keep in mind at this price point, you are paying more for the ambiance than the food itself.

Okay so this was not what we expected judging from the pictures we saw. Before I break things down…read morelet me first complement the art found on the wall of this Lounge. The artist was very creative in his all her drawings. I have posted pictures. It gave me an idea of what to place on my walls once I have opened my lounge. For the art alone A-1 star. Compliments to the artist. The coals on my hookahs was perfect sized. 1 * for that as well. I honestly prefer them the size that they were because it burns longer however because it burns longer does not mean that the customer should be abandoned. I felt I was left and forgotten about because after I'd say 10 minutes maybe more depending on how often I pulled the coal became dim and small. It is important to keep up with the customers so that you can have fresh coals on the burner. I don't know what it is about this part of Jersey but I'm cool with it I'm cool with anybody transforming a portion of their home into a business area and that it appeared to be. It appeared to be a person's basement opened up for business for hookahs. What I did not like was the seating arrangement it was very crowded Once you walk inside because the seating was not organized properly it was cluttered in that area. Branching off to the left was more open space but it was not attractive to the eye other than the art on the wall. A dimly lit area however compliments for placing more light on flooring so that no one is injured due to the flooring being unleveled. The furniture specifically the couches when not attractive although they were not torn or worn down it it did not bring a sex appeal to the lounge. However the gentleman who served us quite sexy if I'm allowed to say that. Nonetheless the place itself could use an improvement. The hookahs and that was the reason mainly why I went was on point it was smooth no problem with pulling no problem with smoke no problem at all. I ordered a mint and upon the first pull it was taste along with the fruity flavor that helped the compliment the hookah. I don't know if I can order them to go but I will find out next time. I won't be back to Lounge but if I can order to go I certainly will compliments to you guys.
