This store carries a lot, clothing for women, men, kids, kitchen supplies, books, cds, lamps, shoes and miscellany. They accept donations in the back where they sort everything. If it's dirty, broken, or looks worn, they will put it outside the front of the store as freebies. If you can work with that, help yourself. Otherwise, check out the variety of things inside all for reasonable prices.

The thrift store closes at 5:30 but sometimes the employees like to close at 5:00 even though it says on the door they close at 5:30 . When I came in I was respectable and asked when they closed they said 5:30 . I waited for the dressing room for 30 minutes which is okay whatever. I have a disability so sometimes it takes me a little longer in dressing rooms. The employer knocked on the door right when I walked in there and said we closed in 30 minutes which plenty of time or so I thought. So I was butt naked trying on cloths of course I had underwear on . Not even two minutes later she knocks on the door agin we close in 15 minutes i had just got in there I didn't even try on anything yet that's how soon she came back. She was an older lady. So im trying on my cloths and I have plenty of time it's 4:50 and no one's in line like I said I have a disability and I have to sit when I'm trying on clothes. She then continues to keep knocking when I was in there for 5 minutes over and over again. It had only been 5 minutes no line . So I'm struggling trying to put everything back on the hangers . While I'm doing that I'm not wearing a bra and I'm naked because I'm trying to hurry! There was no reason for me to hurry ! The next thing I know she opens the curtain in front of everyone while I'm naked and exposed to everyone in the store and pointed and laughed and told me to hurry . At this point only 10 minutes went by. So I had jewelry and a coat and she kicked me out before ai could even get dressed and shouldn't wouldn't let me grab my coat or jewelry . And I ran out of there embraced that everyone saw me exposed and she was amused by it . I just stared crying non stop I have never been treated like that before to be exposed and and pretty much robbed ! I could understand if they were closing and they were in a rush but by the time I got to my car it was 5:10 they close at 5:30 ! She dehumanized me in front of everyone for no reason. Worst experience! I've tried contacting people that have worked there and finally got the name of the owner. What was the point of that . I know this is sounds fake and not real but it happened if you go there don't use the dressing rooms. And before I ran out the door she said I close the store when I want so if I decide I want to close at 5:00 instead of 5:30 I will! Also she is not the owner. She is very mean be safe ladies because men woman everyone saw my naked body and she just laughed !

Bridger Thrift has a nicely selected collection of items you'd find in a thrift store: clothes, dishes, glassware, toys, shoes, furniture, art, miscellaneous goods. Nothing unusual about that. What made Bridger Thrift standout is that everything was useable. I didn't see any torn, ripped, sketchy stuff and surprisingly, there wasn't a lot of dust. Either they sell out quickly, or the staff takes time to clean and keep things looking fresh. Of course, I may have been there during a time the inventory was getting a refresh, and maybe it was fluke. In any case, the people are great -- helpful, but not pushy. I found some glass jars that have been very hard to come by, even in main-stream stores, so I walked out of this thrift store with my stash placed in a reusable bag. The circle of recycling complete. Bridger Thrift is in the category of "good place to shop".

Being from the NYC area, I was blown away by what I found at Recouture Consignment in Bozeman, Montana. Their selection perfectly reflected the local vibe and season--think Pendleton sweaters, Woolrich jackets, high-end ski gear, and other amazing winter finds. On top of that, they had plenty of designer and brand-name pieces at incredible prices. I scored a Marc Jacobs crossbody bag, some great plaid button-downs, a beautiful collection of scarves and shawls, and even some super cool jewelry. We visit the YC and Big Sky every year, and I will absolutely be making Recouture a must-stop again next trip. I can't wait to see what treasures they have waiting next time. When you walk in there's carts and baskets. In all honesty it doesn't really even look like a thrift store. All the things in here are super cute. It's very well organized and clean. I'm glad they only take the best because that's what you'll get. There's a ton of great finds and great selection. There's a down stairs too. They had a great book section. They also had a yarn section and a craft section that I thought was really cool. I found a pair of almost brand new vans for $8. Cost was amazing. Service was great. Definitely worth stopping by.
