He quickly purchased the materials and went in to hammer and stamp his own pendant. The experience ends up being a bit cheaper than actually buying the pendant because of tax or fees and how they're applied, so there is truly no reason not to go an make something while you're in town! As the items get bigger and more expensive, the experience also gets more thorough. The men at the register showed up the block of metal that you can fashion into a knife if you go that route. However the building does not open until 10. We were just arriving as the workers did and they were nice enough to let us in a few minutes early since it was very cold out. I found out while there that some of the ornaments are not heated and I felt like that was part of the experience. My suggestions is to make a knife or other item that is heated to get the full experience. I thought it might be too hard but they do a great job walking you through the experience. You can also always help your child with the hammer if needed. It was also cool that my husband and I made the horseshoe knives and when you join the handles together you can see they came from the same horseshoe.

I finally visited, bringing a long a few of my kitchen cutlery. When I retrieved them the next day, they were properly sharpened, with a keen edge on each. Sharpening is $3 or $4 for each knife (okay, I can't remember), and they safety sleeve each piece upon return. You will notice many, many new knives of all sorts for sale at the counter and directly behind, hanging on the wall. Reasonably priced, they surely have any knife you might need. A side line is their various cutting boards and cookware. As well, they have sausage-making equipment and the spices to support. On a related note, Ferrari also carries used kitchen cutlery that has been sharpened over time. They might be at the end of their usefulness for professional kitchens, but they still have a lot of life left for home use. I picked up several used knives to supplement my current stock. Bargain pricing for all used knives. I didn't realize that they also specialized in spice blends for all sorts of meat and vegetable preparations. Their selections are almost overwhelming, but again, you will most certainly find a suitable blend for all of your needs.
