While he disagreed with my assessment, and was combative...my perspective didn't change... It only worsened in terms of the company... I'm the paying customer, and the experience didn't meet expectations... I deal with a lot of vendors across the state for my facilities so I know the difference between acceptable and unacceptable. My biggest issue was the lack of cleanup and how quickly the crew seemed ready to leave. My entire back patio was left covered in mud and debris. The mess extended to my pool (which required a separate cleaning), the side corridors, walkways, my new doors, and even my barbecue area... It was pretty nasty... The new barbecue just got put in so the white stucco is going to need to be repainted. The street in front of my home.. including both neighboring properties...was left with significant sludge and sentiment buildup. I ended up having to apologize to my neighbors and personally pressure wash the area myself. To be fair, I was told the pool might get dirty, but this was far beyond what I expected. They also backed up and blocked my pool overflow system, which had been working fine prior, and didn't address it before leaving. From my perspective, the crew seemed more focused on moving quickly toward cutting concrete and scheduling additional work rather than fully resolving the issue at hand... They were eager to get the initial job going which is fine, and said there are three guys ready to work, but unfortunately one guy probably should have been out on disability with what seemed like a broken arm. No disrespect, they all seemed nice from a personality standpoint... But when you're being billed per hour, you expect three healthy workers. I've had similar work done at my other properties, and this experience felt rushed and not up to a professional standard. What didn't sit well with me was the owner's lack of receptiveness to respectful, direct feedback... especially from another business owner. In summary: The issue was not resolved (roots were visible on camera but not cleared).. out 1300 bucks.. did you get a second opinion and a trenchless option with more appropriate tools was presented and being executed on. There appeared to be a push toward more invasive and costly work... And they couldn't really confirm where the actual blockage was. It was more of a guessing game. Cleanup was far below expectations I was left to handle the aftermath, including cleaning and neighbor impact This may not be everyone's experience, but it was mine. I'll let others decide accordingly.

Matthew came out promptly, assessed the shower, toilet area and surrounding space thoroughly and found no active moisture. Rather than recommending unnecessary work, he was completely honest about what he saw and didn't see. If you're looking for a plumber who tells you the truth even when it's not the easy answer -- Matthew is your guy. Rare find. Highly recommend! One tip -- Matthew is a one-man operation so give him a day or two to respond to calls. He's worth the wait!

The work turned out to be more involved than he initially anticipated, but even when I offered to pay the difference, he stuck to his original proposal. Matthew took great care to protect our home, putting down floor coverings wherever he worked and thoroughly cleaning up afterward. He was especially careful when opening the drywall, only creating the openings necessary to complete the work properly, even when things got challenging. Since he was working on a gas line, he took extra precautions, checking for leaks three to four times. He was patient, thorough, and focused on doing the job right instead of rushing through it. Matthew also recommended a drywall professional to help close up the openings after the project, which was a huge help. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Matthew Plumbing. I would absolutely recommend him to others. His charges are reasonable, and he is responsible and communicative -- more than I could ask for.

I had many repairs done to my home, that I purchase 6 months ago. Shower valve and head replaced, bathroom faucets replaced, new valves to all the fixtures installed, expansion tank and check valve installed on water heater and all new lines to the water heater. Tracey in the office did a fantastic job, she took information over the phone and I texted her photographs to come up with an estimate. It was done very efficiently and fairly priced. They will be my go to plumbing service from now on.

I got a Sunday call back from him after my water heater started to leak and make some very unpleasant noises. He came out the next day and accessed the situation, was very honest and straight forward as to my options. This was a tricky repair and Kirk explained that to me in detail. Hats off to Tracey who works in the office and kept me abreast of the goings on throughout the process. Peyton and Roman came out on Wednesday to replace the water heater. Kirk came out about 30 minutes later to finish part of the job that he had promised he would do when we first met on Monday. He is a man of his word, great personality and it was like a friend working on my plumbing issue. Hats off to both Peyton & Roman. Everyone worked as a team giving suggestions to one another. Roman did a great job throughout the 2 hours that the crew was there. It was nice talking to him during the times when Peyton was working solo on the water heater. Kirk..I appreciate you and the "boys". You said " I got you" and you did. Again my sincere thanks and can't wait to get into the shower tonight. 3 days without running water is plenty ! Thanks again guys (and Tracey). Stuart & Shannon

Drain Brothers Plumbing - Drain Brothers Inc

Drain Brothers Plumbing

Wow, where do I even begin? I am absolutely blown away by the level of service and care I received…read morefrom Drain Brothers. My kitchen sink backed up, and it turned out there were roots about 2 to 3 feet down the line. One plumber wanted to just run a high-speed chain through it, clear it out, and call it a day. Another said they could not even look at it for a few weeks. I was stuck. In desperation, I called my realtor, who recommended Drain Brothers. They came out the very next day. Ozzy assessed the situation and immediately explained that I needed a cleanout installed because my house was built without one. Having grown up with a father who was a contractor, and spending my summers working construction and plumbing with him, I knew Ozzy was right. I also knew this was not going to be a small job. They would have to cut open the back of the house, cut into the plumbing, and repipe it to install the cleanout. To my surprise, Ozzy said, "We can do it right now." LFG!!! Once they accessed the main line, they found exactly what I expected. Roots had breached the pipe a few feet down. Fixing it meant jackhammering concrete and tunneling under the house to reach the damaged section. This is not a quick or easy task. Again, Ozzy did not hesitate. He said they would take care of it that day. Unreal! I gave them the green light, and they got straight to work. It turned out to be even more involved than expected, but Ozzy and his crew kept pushing. They worked until almost 10PM. It was in the 30s outside, and not once did they complain. At one point, I told them they could head home and come back the next day. I would have completely understood. Ozzy looked at me and said, "We are getting this done for you today." That kind of work ethic is rare. I cannot say enough about Ozzy and the team at Drain Brothers. Professional. Honest. Hard-working. All around great guys. They did the job the right way, not the quick way, and they stood behind their work. If you want it done correctly and you want people who genuinely care, call Drain Brothers. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

At one point, he pulled so hard on the cartridge that he fell backward. After this service, the fixture was worse than before. The handle no longer operated correctly, and the faucet continued dripping. I contacted the company because I was concerned the valve body may have been damaged during the cartridge removal attempt. The owner told me he would personally come out to look at it, but instead they sent the same technician back. The issue was not resolved. The company then quoted me $2,200 for a valve replacement, not including drywall or paint, even though this is a relatively new valve and the problem escalated during their service attempt. I do not feel confident in their diagnosis or handling of the situation, and I will be using a different plumbing company going forward. Update: I later had another plumbing company come out for a second opinion. They removed and inspected the cartridge, cleaned calcium/mineral buildup from the valve area, applied grease, reinstalled the cartridge, and the dripping stopped without replacing the shower valve or opening the wall. This is why I was not comfortable with Drain Brothers' recommendation. I was originally quoted $2,200 for a shower valve replacement, not including drywall or paint, after their technician struggled to remove the cartridge and the faucet continued dripping. The second plumber resolved the issue without a valve replacement. Based on this experience, I do not feel confident in the diagnosis or handling of the situation, and I will not use this company again.
