This place is sooooo funky and cool with all its seating options both inside and outside, especially in the warm summer days. My boyfriend and I sat by the brook and it was such a wonderful experience. The only thing that stinks is they didn't have espresso when we went, and didn't say why. The staff was also just kind of bland towards us. I got an iced vanilla matcha which was very very good. My boyfriend got an iced coffee with cold foam and he liked it. I hidden gem that everyone in the area knows about and I was glad to learn about having also just hiked the stairway to heaven Appalachian Trail. I wanted a place to meet a family member in the area. While, she didn't know about this spot, her adult children/friends did, at least one being a coffee connoisseur! We were looking for coffee where we could sit down and chat & with her dog; this is THE place! It was a hot day and mid afternoon so she enjoyed a strawberry smoothie, and I had a large iced tea and appreciated that they could put it in my own cup. The service was friendly as you'd expect in 'the country.' We also shared a strawberry muffin that tasted like spring as we sat outside. The dog also seemed to appreciate the lovely breeze. Great atmosphere with a surprising amount of seating in and outside even as it doesn't appear that large from the outside. You order at the counter and the staff brings your food if you sit outside on the patio. There's some indoor seating as well, and a cute little gift shop on the property. They also have a variety of snacks and pastries, plus some cool seasonal drinks. We were in town for a wedding, and this seemed like the best option for coffee! We went twice. First, it's a lovely little space. Cozy and the employees are friendly and helpful. They have a more extensive menu than you'd think for food, coffee drinks, pastries, and other snacks/odds & ends, to purchase. Also, their mascot is a French Bulldog (but if you were a big Boston Terrier fan, you could probably buy something and no one would know.) The first afternoon, I ordered a cappuccino, a flat white, and a blueberry coffee cake. I don't think the cappucino was made correctly, as the cup felt like it was completely empty, but my wife tells me it tasted good. The flat white was delicious. The coffee cake was also delicious, although I could not have told you that there were blueberries inside. (These minor criticisms took nothing away from confidently giving 5 stars, mind you - just sharing!) The second morning, we went with 2 flat whites (yum) and a lemon loaf piece for the kids. It smelled and looked good - the kids said it was great! (Coffee still good) If we are ever in that part of NJ again, we will 100% go! Maybe buy a shirt that says "hooked on the pot." read more

We stopped at this cafe on our way up to Warwick and absolutely loved it! I got the turkey, bacon, and avacado panini on sourdough bread with a piece of crumb cake on the side. The panini was delicious, but that crumb cake, OMG! the cake was still so moist with a the perfect amount of crumbs on top! The staff was very sweet and working hard to make sure orders got out. The sum of the parts is greater than the whole. The Daily bean makes an excellent cup of coffee. Espresso, late, cappuccino. All on point. The cakes and pastries are very good as well. The food is just fine. Mostly sandwiches and panini's. Which is pretty good considering the limited dimensions of the prep area. But none of that really matters. It's the chill vibe that keeps me coming back for more. It is a little cottage converted into a cool coffee shop with a cozy stream side back yard with plenty of little seating areas surrounded by wild flowers for one to relax and enjoy a cup. Peaceful. I feel like I've been transported to Vermont when I'm there. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Plus, they have a pretty efficient system for getting your order to you. Daughter wanted the big chain store coffee option in the shopping center next door but we prefer to try local options...as soon as we walked in side and she saw the incredible abundance of options, she forgot all about that other place. Great flat whites, great iced coffee, great frozen coffee and a big plus, they had our favorite sandwich we can only get in NJ (Taylor ham, egg and cheese). Pastries were clearly fresh, staff was friendly and patient as we gawked at the incredible list of options. This little cafe is delightful. I visited on a cold day so everyone was sitting inside but there's lots of lovely seating outside and an adorable little creak running by. They do have several milk options plus gluten free options! Omg I visited this amazing coffee shop about a year ago and I never thought I would be around the way again to visit once more. Not only did I visit this place again, but I came here every morning (3) while I was on a retreat at Crystal Springs. They have such a great menu outlining all their drinks, snacks and sandwiches but most importantly, they were so personable and sweet! Each time I visited, they made sure my order was exactly how I liked it! The owner was amazing and allowed me to take some photos. They have a neutral bathroom, some indoor seating and when the weather is nice, they is outdoor seating as well. In the summer time, they have some years games out and best of all, they are DOG FRIENDLY so when we came last summer, we bought our dog and we plan to bring her this year too!! The Daily Bean, in addition to having an adorable pillow of a French bulldog in their front window, also has the real live French bulldog herself waiting to greet you inside. I'm going to assume her name is Gina based on the Gina's Parking Spot sign out front with her visage on it. Either way, she was 10/10, an amazing addition to my Saturday morning. This cafe has a good number of tables inside and a little bar stand upfront in case you're just purchasing pastries and coffee like I was. My Lemon Poppyseed muffin was everything I wanted it to be. Hi Daily Bean - stopped in today as a first time customer. Loved the coffee. Loved the quaint, cozy building with multiple rooms and outdoor space. Will be a repeat customer when you can resolve the wifi problem which was only putting out 3.5 Mbps (the US average being around 250.0). Wasn't quite able to use my laptop for what I had intended, but hoping it's a glitch you can look into. Just run a speed test site from any wifi connected device to see what you're getting, but 3.5 is more or less dial up speed. Your provider should be able to fix. read more

The place is taken from a fairy tale. I loved the furniture and the feeling of being at home, and the service was more than friendly. We got a Matcha Latte and a Smoothie accompanied by a Blueberry Cake and a Lemon Poppy seeds Muffin. Everything was good overall, the smoothie wasn't as good... very plain, I asked for vegan protein but they didn't have it. We'll be back for sure, but this time with our little buddy.
