Came in for adult women's tap shoes and found what I needed! I was welcomed as soon as I walked through the doors, and the lady who helped me pick out shoes was very friendly and personable. They have a little board that you can use to try out the tap shoes, which was helpful. I left happy with my purchase and will come back here if I have any other dance shoe/attire needs. Store seems overall more geared towards youth dance (which makes sense) but they have good options for adults as well! They have a rewards/punch card program of sorts where if you spend $200, you get 15% off next purchase. Worth checking out if you're anticipating being a repeat customer! Our 9 year old granddaughter was beginning ballet class, so we returned to Dancer's Boutique at their new location. They greeted us immediately. The woman who helped us was kind, considerate and attentive to her as she tried on ballet slippers and several leotards, giving us good advice. I was very appreciative of their ability to make a child feel comfortable, especially during one of our first trips actually inside a store. read more

Sadly lacking in the customer service I expect from a small business. I purchased a lovely (if pricey) pair of dance shoes for my long-distance girlfriend as a Christmas present with a 1-month return policy. We had to exchange for a larger size, but when I visited her in MN in mid-January, she decided they were just a bad shape for her foot. However, the new shoes had changed to a 2-week return policy, and my trip was about 16 days long. I prefer to shop at small stores because I like to feel like part of the community, and I enjoy having a rapport with the staff. I had discussed my long-distance relationship several times, and when I picked up the exchange shoes the staff recognized me right away. No one ever mentioned that the return policy was changing, and they were unsympathetic when I explained my situation later. The shoes have never been danced in, and are in pristine condition with all the original packing. Having experienced better service at many department stores, I felt misled and a bit betrayed. For this reason, I would say that the shopping experience at Dancer's Boutique is not worth braving their limited store hours and nominal price markups, and I wouldn't recommend a visit. read more

I have been there to purchase dance shoes for my daughter twice and my wife has been there once and each time it was incredibly angering. You walk in and the obvious dance moms, do not acknowledge you and continue on with what they were doing. Not only do they not acknowledge and offer to help you but when someone they seemingly know walks in they take them first and still no acknowledgement. You have to walk over and ask them to help you and the response has been "oh do you have an appointment" and then they reluctantly help you. This is a business and their goal should be to help people and to sell product and not sit there doing their nails or talking between themselves. I cannot express how angering this is and the attitudes of the two women who work there. Kind of this elitist "oh your child is not in the company well I guess I can help you" attitude. It makes me laugh because these 2 have doubtfully ever danced themselves or own the business or any other excuse for the attitude. HELLO, work at a shoe and clothing store and are not the ones who have to cloth members of an elite dance company. Next time if I go there to get my daughter fitted for dance shoes and they do the same thing again... I will get her size then leave buy them on Amazon! read more

Got there 5 minutes before they opened and the women inside used gestures to tell me they don't open yet. She finally opened the door with 3 minutes left until Opening time and continued to tell me they don't open until 11 and it's not respectful to their business hours. By the way... it was pouring rain!! If it wasn't for the dance company recommending specific gear for the recital, I would have left the store without purchasing anything. Very poor business practice and even worse customer service. read more

Very attentive staff both times I have been in. My daughter is still in lower level classes but they still treated her like a professional dancer when she went to buy a new pair of dance shoes. The person we worked with was very helpful, spent quite a bit of time with us and was very personable. She also gave us some really helpful insite as far as picking the right pair for what we needed them for. Wonderful experience overall. read more

I have been purchasing my daughter's pointe shoes from here for many years. The owner, Michelle, and her staff are amazing! I was so nervous when my then young daughter wanted to go up en pointe and so many people recommended that I get her fitted at Dancer's Boutique. They work exceptionally hard to get the fitting just right for safety and comfort (although I still don't know how the word comfort and dancing on your toes is even possible!) Over the years they worked with her growth and development and kept her safe. Michelle and her staff have responded to my last minute needs for dance shoes and have been exceptionally professional, attentive, patient, and just all around wonderful people to work with. Dancer's Boutique is the second store I have used to purchase pointe shoes, and I found their customer service and knowledge to be exceptional. Annie spent 45 minutes listening to my daughter, and her concerns and problems with past shoes, to find the very best fit. You do need to make an appointment for a pointe shoe fitting (standard practice for most dance shops) but it is well worth it. I've been very happy with this store, and it's excellent staff! Be sure to use GPS to get there, as you can't really spot it from the road. read more

Owner opened the shop a half hour early on a home football weekend because we had Nutcracker rehearsals all weekend and no availability but emergency on Pointe shoes! Does not get any better than that! how fantastic. Also, because of my daughters triple wide feet there are only like 3 pointe shoes that are made for her feet, and we were able to try them all! Highly recommend. Clean store, neatly organized, large variety of products (shoes, leotards) and friendly, welcoming staff. We've visited Dancer's Boutique twice for pointe shoes for my daughter. We called ahead to schedule an appointment - they took their time and had her try on so many different pointe shoes, who knew there were so many?! We never felt rushed and as newbies to pointe, they were wonderful at explaining what we needed to do with laces and made sure she had the right fit and support to ensure she wouldn't get injured or damage her feet over time, which I greatly appreciated. They also have cards to stamp for a discount after you've spent a certain amount - which can be easy to accomplish with dance gear. read more

Was told, after trying on dance shoes(only 2 pr) that we would be charged a 'fitting charge' because I indicated that the prices seemed quite a bit higher than amazon. I have never been charged for a child determining their size. I cannot recommend this store. read more
