But, after a few minutes, our server dropped by to tell us the chili wouldn't be ready for at least 20 minutes. They had chili in the back, but it wasn't ready to be served. ~Oh, lovely. Hubby decided to get his hash browns without the chili, but I opted out completely. When they brought his hash browns to our table we were shocked how small the order was. We've never been served such a small portion of hash browns at any Waffle House, and we've eaten at Waffle Houses all across the United States. When we commented about the portion size our Server laughed and said "Well, I guess it depends on who the cook is". What???? What does that mean? Also, I want to add that the restaurant was extremely empty. They would have been in big trouble if they had been busy because their service was very SLOW.
