I don't know where the people leaving the 1 star reviews are talking about, but I'm pretty sure it isn't "the Dari", no you didn't misspell it, in Greenwood, AR. I have eaten here many times since it opened and I haven't been disappointed thus far. The only thing my wife and I haven't thoroughly enjoyed are the burgers, and they're not all that bad. The breakfast is very good, as well as the chicken fried steak!!! I've not eaten inside yet but I have been in there a few times and it looked like a restaurant that does a lot of business. Not filthy nasty like one review says. The wait staff is very friendly and every time I have called in an order it is ready in no more than 10 minutes, without the hair someone on here said. Visiting for a couple of days & our hosts suggested it. Said they'd never had anything here they didn't like. We got the seafood plate--2 pieces of catfish, 4 large shrimp, & 2 sides +5 hush puppies. Staff sleeping with each other. Owners and managers don't give out tips they take them. Food is unorganized and staff is never on the same page, the drive thru is not a drive thru, you must call at least 30-45 minutes prior to wanting food picked up. Sometimes you have to wait an extra 20 minutes after waiting 30-45 minutes when you get there. A good friend of mine left their due to the employees not following health codes and management making a fast food establishment sit down dining with no tips. read more

I went there in the morning before school through the drive through. It was amazing! I got pancakes with bacon. The pancakes are TO DIE FOR! So nice and comforting no need for syrup but if you do get syrup it's very delicious too. The bacon pieces are not wimpy and taste delicious. The to go to box comes with butter too. I love to see new, local restaurants open. My recent experience with The Dari was not impressive. The floor is carpeted; that time it was filthy with fries, bits of chicken tenders, and unrecognizable debris. Although the place was crowded with customers, I found the food merely blah. It was basic filler food, plenty of grease and quantity. The staff was plentiful and friendly, so much so that they held multiple conversations among themselves rather than bus tables, clean floors, or ask patrons if anything else was needed.
