Raul led the tour, and did a decent job in covering the history of Beaufort and going over both history and architecture of homes in the area, as well as pointing out where some movies were filmed locally. I liked that the tour ventured out of the historic part of town to go to the Beaufort National Cemetery, as it's one of those places people visiting would otherwise likely skip out on. Overall, I'd rate the tour 4 stars, as I didn't like it as much as other Atlantic coastal town tours I've done in the past (Southport, for example), and this tour was a bit more expensive in comparison (but still worth it). I also thought it was a bit much to be told to leave a review by the guide, and also receive messages via both email and text message to review as well.

We headed over to the lighthouse and got the tickets. They have senior discounts, military discounts, and various deals, but the price is very reasonable and it includes your trip up the lighthouse and you also have the museum across the street that has so much detail you can spend hours there. The view from the top of the lighthouse gives you such an amazing perspective of Tybee Island and the beach is enormous and you can see quite a bit of it from the top of the lighthouse. Make sure you're in good physical condition to walk up 196 stairs, which is like six levels up. They limit the number of people that can go up the lighthouse all at one time so it doesn't get congested up at the top. They keep just a handful of people going at one time.

We arrived at the venue and got signed in, completed our waivers, a couple people had not watched the video at home so they had to do it here. Then we picked out a couple fun helmets, met our guide Gregg who gave each one of us a personalized lesson in mounting, dismounting, forward, reverse, and turning, before allowing us s few minutes practice before we started our tour. I have to say, I started the day thinking I'd be falling off and ended thinking I want to own one of these things. Our guide spent the first half of the tour teaching us the history of the city, and the second half entertaining us on the tour. This was hands down my favorite part of my weekend in Savannah and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
