Old Fashions are kind of small

We pass by this place quite often and decided to stop in for cocktails. We didn't realize this was actually part of the Saloon next door not that it has any bearing on this review. The interior is quite spacious and has several different rooms, all very inviting. The place was busy when we arrived, which gave it an inviting and lively, although slightly noisy vibe. The barkeeps were busy and it was kind of fun watching them work together as they mixed poured various drinks. We decided we were in the mood for their Smoked Old Fashioned so that's what we ordered. At $22 each, I was expecting something a bit more than what we got. The barkeep made both of our drinks in a tumbler using only 1 shot of Woodford bourbon. Total. They were tasty enough, but tiny. I felt or the price we paid we would have at least gotten two drinks, not one split between us. We enjoyed our time there, but we decided one and done was good enough. We didn't reorder.

We've stopped in here a few times in the past month for desserts and drinks. Wonderful ambiance and service. The desserts are fantastic - particularly the butter cake. Bartender suggested some hot chocolate with a shot as an alternative to a traditional mixed drink and was extremely accommodating in making that off the menu item. This is worth a stop!

Hands-Down the Best Cocktail Bar on Amelia Island! The Decantery is an upscale but low-key spot with great lounge vibes. I walked in after a workout and still felt completely at home and surrounded by like-minded people. The ambiance is outstanding: fresh renovation, warm lighting, great seating, and music that's perfectly mixed and not too loud. The service was impeccable, with attentive bartenders. I had the charcuterie board... phenomenal. And an Espresso martini, easily the best on the island. If you want a place that feels like you're hanging out at a friend's beautifully curated space, The Decantery is it. Perfect vibe, perfect drinks, perfect night.

    Yummy espresso martini

We didn't eat but our drinks were delicious and beautiful. Espresso martini was really good. The decor is so adorable!

The food, the service and the atmosphere was amazing. The owner came to our table and had a conversation. She was very nice and authentic. You could tell she really cares about her business. I'm not much of a cheese and wine person but my wife is and she absolutely loved everything I enjoyed some of the cheeses myself just not the smelly ones.lol I recommend anyone that's in town to stop by and really get a taste of what the French enjoy.

    Blueberry lemon drop

The Blueberry lemon drop is sublime! If you haven't been to the Decantery, do yourself a favor and stop in some afternoon. The staff is super sweet.

Charcuterie two meats two cheeses and a whole lotta yummy additions!

Loved it! Great high end wine selection. Delish cocktails. Amazing service. Yummy charcuterie. Definitely a win.

Drinks so on point. The London is delish. Atmosphere super cute and get the warm butter cake. It's been good since day 1. Best part the service is great and they really do care. They also offer vueve by the glass. . Always come here when in town

    Inside so pretty!

I definitely recommend this place! Debbie told us to meet her there and wow it's so pretty inside! Big bar in the middle, exposed brick walls comfy couches all around, very nice place to hang out! We couldn't stay too long but we all ordered a drink the bartender was great and offered suggestions and even a cocktail he had made up, when ours drinks came we all tried them and dang these were good drinks and creative like a chai tea cocktail, I was very impressed with the drinks! only minuses one star because the food selection was very small just a few things food wise, but I would love to go back and try more drinks!

Our return to Fernandina Island and The Patio discovered the same great food and terrific service provided by Kimmi. Patio is by far one of island favorites. It's obvious locals agree as a short wait for a table indicated it is truly a destination for food. Server Kimmi served up delicious fare in whirlwind speed, then kept tabs on every need. Food was memorable so we opted for the same combination from our first visit. Thank you The Patio for a great experience. From our previous visit over a year ago, read on...

Anyways, our server was pretty friendly, and we can't complain about the ambience. Here's what we tried: -Crab Dip: 10/10 - SOOO YUMMY! Perfect crab dip, so rich, so flavorful. -Lobster Bisque: 2/10 - This wasn't bisque, it wasn't even chowder. It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.

The seasoning on the fries was perfection. Unfortunately, no pics of the food. The beers were delish! Had several options on tap and decided on a flight of Gose. Belgian Tripel, Belgian Blonde w raspberry, and the Swarzbier -- visually, absolutely gorgeous...and they tasted exceptional as well. That swarzbier was full of body and flavor with a hint of sweetness. If you like stouts or Dunkels, give this a try. Such a great recommendation from the bartender. Tip: you order from the bar and find a table. There's not a host to seat you. There's also a keg of water for self serve agua. The only downside--super loud inside. It was fine for us. There are outdoor, no frills picnic tables if you don't like the noise. But don't let it stop you, give them a try!
