Food was fresh and fast. Service with a smile. Very clean too. Lovely way to spend a quiet lunch outside in good weather

Good service. But my gyro meat seemed dry and my husband's rice was crunchy dry. The seasoned fries were amazing! Perfect seasoning and cooked just right! Cute clean place .

Baba's is a cute and casual Mediterranean spot in downtown Fernandina Beach. I ordered lunch, a cocktail, and a dessert for just over $30. You order at the counter and take a number to your table. Several free parking spots are nearby. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. I found the patio to be so nice with abundant shade. All staff were kind, and the facility was clean. You can shop or check out the local architecture downtown after you eat.

All right, so this place is more of a fast food convenience like a Panera. They do have a military discount so that was a plus. I got the shrimp Gyro and I would say it was very well balanced with the food. The atmosphere was beautiful. I was sitting outside. It really is one of those places that I would want to go back and try more dishes before I give it the best review. I do like that. They serve wine and different types of drinks and that the food does have a lot of variety in its menu.

Went for dinner after a heavy lunch. The staff is really helpful in favorites and helping with questions. They have dinner entrees after 5 but we wanted something a little lighter. All 3 of us ordered a gyro. They have their own sauce which is mayonnaise based but I love traditional taziki so i got that. My wife and son got the baba sauce. They really liked it. The gyro came fast and were stuffed with meat. The couscous had a very good flavor. I don't remember having it before so i don't have anything to compare it to but would order it again. The hummus was really good but the pita that comes with it had a lot of herbs on it and was a little overbearing to me but my wife liked it. They gave us some plain to go with it. All in all, great food and great service.

I got the Mezze platter and the Greek salad with gyro. My favorite part of the platter was the baba ganoush and the olive spread (which is also on the salad). The hummus wasn't the best I've ever had. My friends weren't impressed with the chicken schwarma. Location and prices are fantastic. We really liked the drink selection.

I'm just love this place! There is no better place to get a Gyro or Falafel. I love their cucumber salad, spanakopita and pasta salad. I enjoyed a Gyro, while my husband had a Baba Bowl with chicken kabob. Relaxed atmosphere - you can eat inside or outside

The ambiance is off, the music is very low making everyone whisper. Tables are very close together so you feel as though others are listening to your conversation. It's one of those restaurants that you order at the counter & seat yourself - a plague on the restaurant industry in my opinion. $60 for two meals and two bottled beers - not worth it. I will say, the hummus was great!

I love walking around Fernandina Beach on Center street, there was this small Restaurant with a few seats outside on the street of you enjoy eating outside. We came in and placed our order. As we were looking at the menu tripping to service the guy was so super helpful in helping us decide what to order. When the food came out is was so good! I got the gyro and fries with hummus. My gyro had their special sauce and Tim had regular taziki. The house made was sweeter and had a great flavor! I will come again.

This is the front of the restaurant along with their cute little outside, seating, surrounded with plants and great vibes!

Great Greek place with classic options. Some tables not completely cleaned off and served were not great at explaining menu options, but all very nice workers. Lots of in and out seating. Love their bowl and pricing is typical. Pita bread does not taste homemade. Solid spot with great meat options and tasty veggies

Our lunch was delicious! There's indoor and outdoor dining. We ate outside since the weather was great. There are large screens that worked well to keep the sun at bay. I have a gluten allergy so finding a place like this with knowledgeable staff and lots of great options is important. The food was delicious and we will be returning again soon.

Hands-Down the Best Cocktail Bar on Amelia Island!…read more The Decantery is an upscale but low-key spot with great lounge vibes. I walked in after a workout and still felt completely at home and surrounded by like-minded people. The ambiance is outstanding: fresh renovation, warm lighting, great seating, and music that's perfectly mixed and not too loud. The service was impeccable, with attentive bartenders. I had the charcuterie board... phenomenal. And an Espresso martini, easily the best on the island. If you want a place that feels like you're hanging out at a friend's beautifully curated space, The Decantery is it. Perfect vibe, perfect drinks, perfect night.

The interior is quite spacious and has several different rooms, all very inviting. The place was busy when we arrived, which gave it an inviting and lively, although slightly noisy vibe. The barkeeps were busy and it was kind of fun watching them work together as they mixed poured various drinks. We decided we were in the mood for their Smoked Old Fashioned so that's what we ordered. At $22 each, I was expecting something a bit more than what we got. The barkeep made both of our drinks in a tumbler using only 1 shot of Woodford bourbon. Total. They were tasty enough, but tiny. I felt or the price we paid we would have at least gotten two drinks, not one split between us. We enjoyed our time there, but we decided one and done was good enough. We didn't reorder.

We started with the cheesy bread, which was super flavorful and the perfect appetizer to share. For mains, our table tried the shrimp scampi, short rib, and redfish--all of them were excellent. The shrimp scampi was buttery and delicious, the short rib was incredibly tender, and the redfish was cooked perfectly with great flavor. A big shoutout to Holly, our waitress, who made the night even better. She was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations without being overbearing. Anyways, our server was pretty friendly, and we can't complain about the ambience. Here's what we tried: -Crab Dip: 10/10 - SOOO YUMMY! Perfect crab dip, so rich, so flavorful. -Lobster Bisque: 2/10 - This wasn't bisque, it wasn't even chowder. It was so thick and had no real taste to it. -Goat Cheese Burger: 9/10 - creamy, goat cheese was the star, overall delicious. fries were good too! -Lobster Ravioli: 7/10 - disappointing, to be honest. Sauce was great but the ravioli itself kind of tasted like frozen lobster ravioli. -French dip Sandwich: 6/10 - super salty, very savory, but very little depth of flavor. Could've used something zingy. -Chocolate Cake: 9/10 - no one can argue with a chocolate cake. I mean come on! I loved that it came out cold and dense.
