Service was excellent and we sat at a table near the bar. We shared the southwest egg rolls (delish and so flavorful) and I got a burger. It was supposed to be bacon encrusted and I didn't get a ton of bacon flavor? But regardless I enjoyed and left sooo full. The orange crushes were generously dosed LOL I will be back.

Service was friendly and the menu was surprisingly deep. Overall, the food did not disappoint. We started with the French Onion soup - it is on point and if you like French Onion, I recommend it. I went with the meatloaf sandwich. It was good, but the BBQ sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. Still a creative and enjoyable sandwich. We also got a poke bowl, which was very fresh. I'd recommend getting the dressing on the side as that could overpower some of the aspects of the bowl, but no other modifications needed. I've heard this place can get busy and is a bit of a dive bar. Given its location, I am sure it can get busy so I would plan ahead if you want to eat. As for dive bar, not sure I'd call it that but if I did it would more bit a complement. I say give Berwyn Tavern a go if you are in the area.

The restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. In addition to all the regular seats and a full bar area, there's an arcade in the back and an area for axe throwing! I placed an order over the phone for a large white seafood pizza - light on the spice. When I arrived, AN order was ready and when I went to pay she told be "$12.95". I knew that was not right so I asked. She said "yes - white pizza". I said "no" and restated the correct order. She spoke to a gentleman and he came and said "we can make a new one but it will take 15-17 minutes". I said "ok - fine". As I sat and waited, no one spoke to me or offered me an apology. When I was told the pizza was ready, the server verified I was a large white seafood light on the spice. I answered"yes. thank you. anything else?" she said "did you order anything else"? I said "no, but I was hoping for an apology and perhaps an offer of anything for the mistake and inconvenience". She said nothing. The guy behind the counter that spoke to me earlier asked her to verify it was the correct pizza as there was a second box on the counter and she confirmed. As I was walking out, I looked at him and asked "no apology? no offer to discount? no free garlic bread? anything?" He said "what do you want?" I said "I shouldn't have to ask." and walked out. All he said was "OK. Have a good night". I have been ordering this pizza from you for over 20 years, especially during Lent, (I live around the corner) and this was the first time I had an issue. But to be dismissed the way I was for what clearly was your mistake and there was no attempt to smooth it over and make it right was extremely disappointing. You should have done better and I SHOULD NOT have to tell you that! Thank you for listening, That was 4 weeks ago and still nothing.

The setup is a little different from the Warrington location (same owners), and the menu has some differences too but it still gives that signature Cage vibe with the greenery, cool signage, and those iconic cage aesthetics. The GM James stopped by our table to make sure we were good. Good sense of humor. Shoutout to the staff because they really made the experience. Peyton at the host stand was super helpful getting us situated. Our server Jen was AMAZING!!! She was attentive, friendly, and honestly went above and beyond. She checked on us consistently, made sure everything was right, and even doubled as our photographer. Gabe also helped run food and was just as attentive. We started with drinks these drinks are so creatively made and the presentation is cool!!: one person had the Cyclops (very cool presentation with the bubble effect), I had a creamy espresso maestro martini (make sure you say creamy it was smooth and really good), the creamy is baileys. You will never walk alone drink make sure: cute!!! Elementary school A couple people ordered mocktails. The only downside here: the mocktails lacked flavor, but Jen made sure to address it right away. food: Korean tacos & tuna crispy rice - 9/10 some meat was chewy but the flavor was there. My taste buds were happy! Braised short rib hash - 10/10, super tender meat, great flavor (just wish there was a little more hash) my cousin enjoyed this over hers Steak & eggs with truffle fries - 10/10 Crab Benedict - real lump crab, great flavor 10/10 but they need to watch the poached egg, it was runny enough Chicken & waffles - 9/10 Shrimp jambalaya - 7/10, a bit dry, but they quickly added more sauce when we mentioned it Truffle fries with aïoli - 10/10, must-order Beignets - 10/10, "chef's kiss"- soft, sweet, and definitely worth getting We didn't go deep into dessert beyond the beignets, but those alone were a hit. Between the atmosphere, the service, and most of the food hitting, it made for a really enjoyable brunch. If you haven't been yet, go, you'll enjoy the experience.

I recently visited The Cage in Warrington with a friend on a Saturday evening and unfortunately had…read morean experience that fell well below the standard I've come to expect from the brand. Prior to this visit, I had been to two other locations and thoroughly enjoyed my experiences there. Because of that, I was excited to introduce a friend who had never visited before. I spent a good portion of our drive talking about the concept, atmosphere, and overall quality that I had previously experienced. Upon being seated, our server Grace(not too sure if this is corrected) greeted us, but several of the standard hospitality touchpoints I had experienced at other locations were absent. We were not asked whether we had visited before, whether anyone had allergies, or if we had any questions about the menu. Given that my guest was a first-time visitor and the beverage menu features numerous specialty cocktails, I expected at least some guidance or introduction. Our server returned after dropping us off waters and greeted us and asked if we already knew what we wanted to drink. Considering the size of the cocktail menu and the fact that one member of our party had never been there before, the question felt rushed rather than service-oriented. Much different from my other experiences. When the server returned to take our drink order and asked whether we were ready to order food, I jokingly asked, "No menu tour?" and her response was "Huh?" My friend then specifically requested recommendations. The server mentioned a few items, including the double truffle fries, cheesesteak egg rolls, flatbreads, and pasta dishes were "good". While I appreciated the recommendations, there was little effort to explain the menu, highlight guest favorites, or help a first-time guest navigate the extensive offerings. What made this particularly disappointing was that I arrived fully prepared to enjoy the experience and trust the recommendations of the staff. As someone who genuinely enjoys The Cage and its concept, I was open to ordering any food or beverage recommendations that were presented to us and was willing to spend whatever was necessary to fully experience the menu due to my friend visiting the area for the first time and never heard of The Cage. Instead, the interaction felt transactional rather than hospitable, which was especially disappointing given how highly I had spoken about the brand to my guest beforehand. Our drinks were eventually delivered by another server, who informed us that our original server had been cut and that he would be taking over the table. On a busy Saturday evening around 5 p.m., this felt very unusual and abrupt. I also felt disrespected that the server happened to be conveniently cut because I asked to get recommendations. While I understand staffing changes happen, the transition left me feeling as though our table was not a priority. Honestly, it was very bothersome. To be clear, our second server, Ray, was excellent. He was attentive, professional, and significantly improved the experience moving forward. Although the experience was already botched because of what happened previously from the server before. The following morning, I did not want to leave a review because everyone makes mistakes but I was so bothered by the behavior or the service I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the manager, Justin. He was courteous and listened to my concerns. However, I was disappointed by his explanation that the Warrington location is "more relaxed" than other locations. Consistency is one of the reasons guests become loyal to a brand, and a more relaxed atmosphere should not translate to a noticeably lower standard of service. Justin offered a $40 gift card as a gesture of goodwill, which I appreciated. However, the gift card was only valid at the Warrington location. Given that my concerns stem directly from my experience at that location, the offer did not fully address the issue nor will I return to this location. What made this experience particularly disappointing is that I genuinely enjoy this brand and have had positive experiences at other locations. I brought a friend specifically because I believed she would have the same experience I had enjoyed elsewhere. Instead, the service felt rushed, inconsistent, and lacking the hospitality that had previously made me a fan. I hope this feedback is received constructively, as my intention is not simply to complain but to highlight an experience that did not align with the standards I have come to expect from The Cage. I will return to another location of The Cage just not the Warrington one.
