We kicked things off with burrata that was creamy and perfectly balanced, glistening with a touch of balsamic drizzle and a kiss of sea salt. The calamari appetizer brought a playful crunch and seafood brightness that lightened the midday dining. A pizza followed, offering a fun, crispy-tongued take with a savory twist that complemented the other dishes without feeling heavy. Our pasta dish offered comforting, flavorful notes in a satisfying portion that didn't overwhelm. The bartender stood out with impressive service and thoughtful recommendations, elevating the entire meal. The cafe's quaint, intimate atmosphere and the open-air sidewalk seating made it easy to linger, soaking up the vibe as much as the food. Overall, everything was delish, and the ambiance was 100% great.

We really liked the atmosphere too. We ate the aracinis for an appetizer and for entrees we had the short rib pasta and the salmon. We would definitely come back. The one suggestion I have though is to have at least one high chair on hand. Our three year old could manage on the normal chairs but the table was a little high for her.

My husband and I checked out The Rabbit Hole this week to try the new spring menu, and we were…read morereally excited to see all the seasonal updates. We started with the roasted tomato and fennel burrata. I have no idea how they make the sauce it comes with, but it's seriously so good, perfectly sweet and savory. We also tried the smoked trout board. We had never really gotten the whole tinned fish thing before, but this totally changed our minds. It came with Persian cucumbers, radishes with balsamic, capers, grilled sourdough, and this really good spiced labneh. Everything just worked together so well, and somehow it felt light and fresh instead of heavy. For mains, we got the lollipop lamb chops and the crab tower, and both were amazing. The lamb was cooked perfectly and came with this pea purée that we couldn't stop talking about. The garlic, honey, and rosemary flavors were so good. The crab tower honestly felt like spring on a plate. The mango, avocado, and red onion with the crab and that ginger lime dressing were just such a good combo, and the little kick from the sriracha aioli was perfect. Even the chips on the side were really good, which you don't always expect. We also loved the drinks, they were super creative and had really fresh spring vibes that went so well with everything we ordered. Overall, such a great experience. We'll definitely be back.

We live a couple blocks from Rabbit Hole, and honestly, when it first opened, we wanted to love it…read moremore than we actually did. The space was gorgeous, there was a ton of buzz, and you could tell a lot of care and money went into it. But the first couple visits just felt... fine. Drinks were okay, food was okay, service felt overwhelmed. It didn't quite feel like the kind of cocktail spot that would pull us away from our usual Philly speakeasy and cocktail bar runs. Fast forward about a year later, and wow. Something clicked. We went back a few weeks ago and were completely floored. The cocktails suddenly had balance, creativity, and confidence behind them. I'm a whiskey sour snob in the most respectful way possible, and instead of ordering off the menu, I asked the bartender to just riff on one. It was an incredible. Tonight confirmed it wasn't a fluke. For the first time we sat inside at the bar, and Cameron absolutely crushed it. She made me a whiskey sour with passion fruit that somehow still respected everything that makes a proper whiskey sour great. Egg white, single cube, beautiful texture, balanced citrus, just enough bitterness on the finish. Legit one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The hospitality was even better. Laura recognized us immediately when we walked in and welcomed us back like regulars. Then Lauren sent out an off-menu bite for us to try, crostini with brie, prosciutto, fig jam, honey, and green apple. Unreal. That's the thing about Rabbit Hole now. It no longer feels like a cool-looking neighborhood spot trying to figure itself out. It feels like a place that found its identity. If you care about cocktails, enjoy sitting at a bar talking to bartenders who actually know their craft, and appreciate genuinely thoughtful hospitality, go check this place out. Huge shoutout to Laura, Lauren, Cameron, and the team. You guys are building something really special in Conshy.

We were a party of 8 and they were so nice to setup a table where we could all sit together even though it looked like they were full. None of our friends have ever been here so I let them decide what they wanted to order. We had many different tastes of wines to start from a Chardonnay, a pinot Grigio to a Shira. Everyone could not say enough of how good the wines tasted. The tables ordered charcuterie boards, a hot honey, pepperoni flatbread, margarita flatbread, pistachio pesto flatbread, two different types of french fries and a meatball martini. The group raved about the flavors of the different flatbreads. The pistachio flatbread was a great hit. No one would ever think of a flatbread with pistachios. Josh and Nick the bartender took care of us really great. We never had a wait for anything..

Prices are fair, especially given the location and overall quality. The wine list offers a solid selection of both red and white wines, available by the glass or bottle, and they also serve wine flights--three 2.5 oz pours, if I remember correctly. The cons: The menu isn't posted online (see my photos for sample menus), so you'll need to be comfortable going in without previewing your options. It's also not marked for gluten-free items, so plan on asking your server for guidance. Most of the wines feature grapes sourced from California, with a few selections from South Africa and at least one Malbec from Chile. Aside from some Oakville Cab Sauvs, I'm not a big fan of California wines--so if you are, you'll likely feel right at home here.

Service: each person with whom we interacted (hosts, manager, food runners and especially our server...she was fantastic). Food: For the table, we got Calamari: very light and crispy, but the meat was nice and tender Pepperoni and soppressata pizza: excellent, with an amazing sauce, sausage and crispy outside tender inside crust. Dinner: The kids both got the Rigatoni Vodka. This is what I had the first time we visited. It was just as delicious. Packed with flavor and the sausage was perfect. Tender, and just a touch of heat. My wife got the Gemelli. A pistachio pesto - this was probably the best pesto I've ever tasted. Creamy, fill of flavor and a touch of acid that brightened it up nicely. Incredible. I got the Bucatini Amatriciana. Pomodoro sauce with guanciale. Blew me away. The pomodoro was unbelievably well balanced. Exact amount of sweetness, slightly acidic and the guanciale brought the salty note, in the form of crispy crunchy bacon flavor, but surprisingly tender. Blown away. We had to try dessert. Tiramisu: it was as good as expected. Very well made Vanilla Panna Cotta: this was exceptional (like pretty much the rest of the meal) delicate and creamy, and a huckleberry compote (?) that was insanely good. A touch of salt was in there to make it positively sing. I could not more highly recommend giving this place a try. Absolutely the whole package. Loved it and will be back!
