Quaint cafe with friendly service and good food. Perfect for breakfast in the area if looking for something other than Waffle House.

Amazing food! The absolute best milk gravy and delicious homemade biscuits that I have had in years!! I can't say enough about how good both were; I would make an effort to go there again just for the biscuits and gravy!! The hash browns are better than Huddle House!! Their lunch buffet looked delicious!! Our service was excellent!

The service was wonderful and so fast! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. It appears to be a small, family owned establishment, which I love. The food was 10/10. My husband and I each got an omelet (mine was veggie and his was the ham and cheese) both were excellent. The omelets came with sides of biscuits and gravy! Very affordable too! We will be back before we head back home.

Before it was sold it was the best breakfast/lunch place in Monteagle. Too many changes and the regulars were driven away.

Unfortunately it was not the same caliber as our initial visit. Wife liked her dirty martini ok. My sazerac was too sweet and a bit hard to get through. The by the glass wine was a small and not particularly interesting selection. Fried lobster appetizer really had a much too heavy coating that overwhelmed the delicate lobster flavor. Still hard to pass on a fried lobster app though. The steaks didn't have that great grill flavor we remembered. My thin cut ribeye was overcooked as well. Though my side of fries were fabulous and the clear highlight of the evening. helpful hint - ask for no truffle oil; nasty stuff, I still can't understand why if shows up on so many menus. The worst part of the evening, and probably the thing that most made us think no on another return visit, was the party upstairs. It involved a lot of very young, very loud, screaming children. I have no doubt that it was a family gathering, but it struck any pleasure from dining in a cool historical space. Gave my wife a headache, and made us bolt to the safe quiet of our car as quickly as possible after the main course was finished.

We started w Nola shrimp - Cajun flavor was great, buttery, goodness. They brought out complimentary bread and shared the specials of the night with us. The roll and butter were warm and delicious. I ordered the halibut entree special - comes w soup or salad and sides. A lot of food and everything was cooked perfectly. The risotto was a little under but the flavor was exceptional. My husband ordered the ribeye, cooked perfectly to his liking and the garlic butter gives it so much flavor, also comes with soup/salad and side. You really get attentive staff, basically a 4 course meal, and a really special evening. We enjoyed ourselves!!

The food at La Bella Pearl is thoughtfully created and beautifully executed, with French and Cajun influences woven into a farm-to-table, mountaintop dining experience. Every dish feels intentional without ever feeling fussy. The restaurant itself is set inside a beautiful old home, which makes the experience feel less like going out to a restaurant and more like being welcomed into Chef Tom's home for an incredible meal. The service and atmosphere are warm, relaxed, and unpretentious. You could absolutely dress up for a special date night, but you would feel just as comfortable coming in casually. They do not sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own bottle, and the corkage fee is one of the lowest I have ever seen. La Bella Pearl is a true gem. From the moment you pull up, it feels as though you have stumbled upon the pearl inside an oyster, tucked away on the mountain and waiting to be discovered. Do not sleep on this place. It is easily one of the best dining values I have found anywhere, and the kind of restaurant you almost want to keep a secret.

Hubs ordered the Goodfella Pizza, with a couple of deletions, and loved it. I chose the Elana Ruz sandwich and it was glorious! The weather was delightful so we enjoyed sitting outside. We loved the overall vibe, although inside was a little loud. Their decor everywhere was so much fun! We also appreciated the drink refills as we headed out. As we left, we saw tons of parking in an adjacent lot, which I've noted for future visits. The meal took only a few minutes to prepare and we were eating by 12:55 The Reuben looked amazing as did the pizza. I was a little jealous. Especially since I ordered the fiesta burrito and found it to be mostly ... just.... okay. I was disappointed that the gift / souvenir shop was closed.

The restaurant is located behind the namesake lodge and has ample parking. They had a nice fireplace going on outside due to chilly weather. Inside was a super cozy southern vibe kind of a place. There were a lot of music memorabilia on the walls. The live music was really good. Randy Finchum kicked off the music and played original and sometimes hilarious songs. He made sure to crack a lot of jokes and stories between the songs. For food we tried fried pickles, fried okra, fried brussels sprouts, and sausage with onions and peppers. Yep...no sight of greens but man was everything delicious. Also, they have cheap beers available but only in bottles.
