I'm following up on my previous review. The same night I posted it, Dr. Tomasian personally called me to discuss the issues I had been having. I do appreciate that he took the time to listen, and the conversation itself was positive. Shortly after, my prescription was finally processed, and I received it on 5/1/26. It was also refilled for future use, which I'm thankful for. However, it took nearly two months to straighten everything out before I was finally able to receive my prescription. However, the overall experience still leaves me genuinely concerned. It took me being unusually persistent and more forceful than I'm comfortable with just to get a response from the office, pharmacy, and insurance. That shouldn't be necessary for a patient trying to manage their healthcare. More importantly, this situation caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety and has negatively impacted my health. I already deal with high blood pressure, and this experience elevated it further, which is both troubling and unacceptable when seeking medical care. At this time, I'm giving a 3-star rating in recognition of the effort Dr. Tomasian made to personally address the situation. I may update this after future visits. I sincerely hope his office improves how they handle patient communication and follow-through so that no other patient has to go through a similar experience. read more

I had a bump that started growing near my bicep almost 2 years ago. It was benign, so my insurance wouldn't cover its removal. My friend referred me to The Dermatology Collective. First, the staff warmly greeted me as soon as I walked in. They were all super nice! I then saw Dr. Jones, who said she could remove the bump right then and there, and they could send it for a biopsy just in case. The procedure was quick and painless! The bump is gone and the scar is barely noticeable. One thing I really liked about this place was that they said the consultation fee would be applied to any procedure I had done. Other places charged a similar consultation fee but would not count it towards the procedure. On top of that, the total cost was significantly less than quotes I received from other offices -- I probably paid half of what I would've paid at the other places I called. Most importantly, I was seen by Dr. Jones, who is an MD. Other places want you to consult with their PA first. Needless to say I'll be coming here for all my skincare needs going forward. I had to come see Doc for a skin concern which turned out to be benign a few years back. .The staff is so sweet and Dr. T is the best !!! Prices are on the higher side but you pay for what you get . They have multiple monthly membership programs to sign up for that help with cost . I just went to see Denise and OMG ! I got hit hard with Covid which wiped me out and I felt like I aged 20 years . I've always known that acne is never cured but can be controlled. For half of my life, I suffered from moderate to severe cystic acne. This is the type that is painful, lasts for weeks and often can cause permanent physical and emotional scars. The key is finding a skincare regimen that your skin will respond to and finding a team who can help accomplish this! Since 2007, I have been under the care of Denise and she is the only person I trust with my skin! That speaks volumes because I was not blessed with glass/porcelain skin. It has definitely been a journey to get to where I am now, as I have tried everything. Yet, the regimen that I've had with Denise is what works, as my acne is under control! This includes peels, extractions and steroid shots. She has a gift when dealing with those pesky painful bumps. I have not scarred! Came in here last week for an annual skin check. I grew up a river rat and spent most of my childhood on a boat in a lake, with no sunscreen.. thanks mom!! I have plenty of strange looking moles & freckles. I got my skin checked, some weird old lady things frozen off and one weird mole scraped of and sent to pathology. After only 2 days, Dr. Tomassian called me to give me the good news. It was just a weird mole. Finding a Dr that calls himself (not another staff member) with good news instead of only bad news is rare. I appreciate that a lot. Today I came in for some Botox it's been almost two years and it was definitely way over due. I like that the Dr does the injecting and he has a very soft hand. All of the girls in the office are very nice and helpful. I've gone to a few med spas that honestly I felt uneasy and unwelcome. The opposite happened here. I didn't feel like they were talking behind my back or giving me dirty looks. I felt like they were happy I was there and that means a lot! It took me a long time to find a place like this! From the moment I walked Into their offices, I knew I had finally found a place I wanted and NEEDED to be. So KIND, so professional, so caring, so clean. Everyone! From the receptionists, to all the staff and Doctors. The prior dermatology office I went to obviously "non-diagnosed" my conditions, unfortunately for quite a while. From my very first visit with Dr. Gina Jones, I KNEW I was in the right place I was supposed to be. She was so very professional, kind, and thorough in my full body examination for possible skin cancers, that she made me feel positive I was going to finally get the car I needed. And YES, Dr. Jones did discover and diagnose more than a few "items" that definitely needed addressing and treatment. So thankful for THAT. When It came to treatment time, every visit, they make you feel welcome, comfortable, and safe with anything and everything they do for you. Dr. Jones did a beautiful job of excising my skin cancers. So "smooth", so gentle, so painless. Also, Dr. Hedayati did an amazing job on removing a cancer from my nose, and then reconstructing the area. I really wanted to love this place and refer friends interested in getting Botox but I cannot recommend to anyone.(3 reasons) 1.I was overcharged for Dysport was told it is $5 a unit, but I only got 8 units and was charged for $120. I should have been charged $40. = They stole $80 from me. 2. I was ready to leave because there was so much going back and forth. My appointment was at 5pm I was still waiting at 5:50pm. So I go out to the desk to let them know I have other obligations I need to leave and the NP and workers are begging me to stay pushing me saying it will take less then 5 minutes. 3. I go back to sit down and the NP quickly injects me and I feel the dysport dripping down my cheek! So I got less than 8 units. This experience was a nightmare to say the least. They are not professional just money hungry. read more

Then the rest of the ladies followed laughing at me after she was rude to me. The doctor is great, but the ladies in the front should not be working if they don't like their job. Pretty sure I got asked four times how I did I hear about them and each time I said via my insurance's website. Even when they answered calls they ask "how did you hear about us?". The girls must have nightmares with that phrase. Went to visit this local dermatologist to get a second opinion on a skin condition that won't let me jumpstart my hot girl summer. The front staff, were incredibly friendly. The intake Lady and Dr. were also friendly. I appreciate him asking if I had other concerns before wrapping up. The process was quick even though I went in as a walk-in. I was in and out in under an hour, not bad tbh. New patient and follow ups noted on the intake forms were $150-$200 per visit. This obviously excludes prescriptions they recommended. I appreciate the transparency on paper. Definitely returning to look into skin cosmetic services and keep up with my flare ups. I've never struggled with acne until this last year. I'd get blemishes here and there in high school but when I was a full year off of birth control, my face exploded. Painful, cystic acne covered my chin and cheeks. So bad, it would hurt to talk and move my face. I went from being a vibrant and confident 27 year old to hiding at home and avoiding any event I was invited to. I cried to my boyfriend daily about how I felt so unlike myself. I first sought treatment from a place called Beverly Hills rejuvenation center in Chino Hills. I'll save you the time, avoid that place at all costs. I spent ridiculous amount of money with them and my face was only getting worse. When I complained to them how bad it was getting and that I wanted to try something else they said "try not to stress, that's what's making it worse, and trust the process." Well after 3 months of trusting the process it only got worse and I looked elsewhere. That's when I found The Dermatology collective. I first started with Denise, who I actually used to see when I was a teenager for chemical peels. Not only was it nice to see a familiar and trusted face, she was raving about how much she liked the Dr. here than the previous place she worked for. After a few months of working with Denise, I set up a consult with Dr. Tomassian. I was very firm on not wanting to take any oral medications for my acne and while he was still encouraging it, he respected my choice and helped with alternatives. It's been 7 months now and my face is back to wear it was before the explosion and I feel like myself again. Some things I would like to highlight about my experience with TDC: 1. I never had to go out and buy ridiculously priced skin care products. Everything was sold at my local target/walmart. I didn't have to order any specialty things online or only sold at their clinic. 2. While there was a trial and error period the first month or so, I always saw forward progress. 3. Skincare and treatment is an investment, however their costs are fair and insurance is an option. 4. If I ever called in because of a bad reaction to a new treatment or a general concern, they didn't brush me off and got me back in to help right away read more

I seriously wish I was able to give more than 5 stars. I have a thing on my leg and I was worried it was skin cancer. I had googled Dermatologist for over a month and got no response back from any that I messaged. So I decided to check on Yelp and BAM I got a response ASAP from Dr Tomassian's office and was able to go in the very next day to get a biopsy done His entire staff is Awesome/Friendly and Very Helpful as you can imagine a cancer concern for us is very, very scary. All made me feel so comfortable and relaxed, Plus Dr Tomassian is Funny which is a Great attribute for a Doctor, this to me shows your not just a name on a file that your a person and that he genuinely cares about you and wants to make you feel at ease and comfortable  When I spoke to Dr Tomassian I could honestly hear the compassion in his voice as he was giving me my results and unfortunately it is skin cancer.   I can't say enough GREAT things about Dr Tomassian and his entire office.
