I had a case of insomnia so I was perusing offerup looking for something I don't need, and stumbled…read moreupon a car wash service with really cheap prices. I was a little worried at first as this was offer up... but after a brief messaging session I could see he was educated, polite and professional. He told me he had some cars to do the next morning in Miami, but lived close to me and would call me when he was near. Well, he touched base with me and told me the time he would arrive, and he was on time. He had everything he needed in his car and told me he would let me know when he was done. My car was already quite clean, but I wanted it to get some love as my "new" used car. He definitely did just that! There were spots I thought were permanent as it was a used car, but he got every single one of them up. He was here and working for TWO HOURS!!!!! He thoroughly detailed the car inside and out, and waxed it for an absolutely AMAZING price. When he was done we thoroughly looked at the car and I found nothing wrong with it. I am used to getting a rag and getting all those nooks and crannies that they missed, but he missed absolutely nothing. We engaged in a little conversation, and I found him to be such a nice and professional guy. I am very happy to have found him, and look forward to using him again. Don't hesitate. Check out the pics. Shoot him a text at 239 530 8574, tell him you read about him on YELP! :)

Louis did an amazing job and I would recommend him to other friends…read more I am very picky with my car and dont trust anyone to compound and polish my paint. I was blown away by the work. He spent a total of 4 hours amd made my black paint come back to life. Wash, wax, clay, compound, polish! The paint looks WET...it hasn't looked this good since I first bought the car 10 years ago. I will be using your services again in the future and also letting all my friends, especially with black cars know about your company!

SERVICE REVIEW From…read morethe moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile by everyone. After checking in, I was led to one of three waiting lounge area. Each area has a television and comfortable seats. There is fountain drinks, places to charge your phone, a "gift shop," and a kids play room. There is a quote on the wall, "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." I was made to feel like a valuable customer.

Three months ago I purchased an 18 Elantra GT. During the process of buying this car I was notified…read morethat it had a branded title due to a "Manufacturer Buy Back" but was reassured multiple times that this vehicle LEGALLY could not be sold back to the public if there were any issue. At the time I didn't think twice, because there was no way that such a reputable organization such as Murdock would sell a faulty car back to the public. This is where I was sorely mistaken. Fast forward 3 months (the recommended time interval for an oil change under normal driving conditions) my car throws a faulty catalytic converter code. I take said car into a shop to diagnose my cat code, shop calls me back to inform me that catalytic converter has gone bad due to the engine's oil consumption and that though there where no visible leaks in the engine or underneath the Elantra, there was no oil in the engine when checking the dipstick. Upon receiving this information I immediately reached out to Murdock Volkswagen in Logan and was put in contact with the Sales Manager Chad. Chad was very quick to reiterate that they would not sell a faulty car to the public but was also confused as to how my Elantra was able to consume all of its engine oil contents in 3 months time with no oil pressure/level codes being thrown and instructed me to bring the Elantra into the the Dealership to have the techs look it over to see what's wrong and to "Make things right". He also assured me that he would look into this vehicles history/carfax and get back to me same day as to what he was able to find. HE NEVER CALLED BACK. I received 0 follow from Sales Manager Chad. After 2 days I called the dealership to follow up on any information found. I was informed that Chad hadn't found anything but was still confused as to the extent of the oil consumption and again instructed me to get the Elantra to the dealership to have "their techs look it over and make sure they can find what the issue was. After finally lining up a trailer I dropped the car off at the dealership on Monday, gave the keys to the service desk. I informed them I was told by the Sales Manager Chad to bring the car in to have the techs look at it, and again was reassured that "we'll get everything taken care of". Imagine my dismay when left a voicemail by the service department on Wednesday morning that they wouldn't be able to look into the car unless I agreed to the over 180 an hour diagnostic fee. I immediately called back to speak with Chad for clarification as to why I would have to pay for the diagnostic when instructed by him to bring it in. Especially when it had already been diagnosed with massive oil consumption and possible engine damage due to said oil consumption. The kind individual who took my call told me he was in a meeting and would call me back. When he did call me back his response was, "I understand your confusion. I will get with the Service Manager and see what we can figure out and I will get back with you later today". But yet again 0 follow up. Called Thursday to follow up on what was happening with my car, "he's in a meeting right now but will call you back within the hour" No call back. Called Friday to follow up, "he's wrapping up a meeting but will call you back within the hour." I asked if I could to speak to someone else, possible even above him due to the lack of communication and was told that individual was not available today" Called yet again on Monday to get any information I could on my car. Their response? You guessed it. "He's unable to take your call right now but can he call you back?" I asked to speak to someone else in charge because I was tired of getting jerked around with no follow up or I will gladly come into the Dealership to ask Chad in person why he hasn't been able to call me back and speak to some who would be willing to help me. Upon my request he was magically available to take my call, where I was coldly informed that there was nothing they would do for me and my vehicle was ready for pickup without ever being looked at or diagnosed by their techs per Chads request to bring the Elantra into their facility. If this is what Murdock Volkswagen of Logan calls a "Fun, Fair and Hassle Free car buying experience" I have yet to find any evidence to support their claim nor will I be looking to do any future business with any of the Murdock Dealerships.

They use autozone parts that are double the cost of a walk in…read more I understand Murdock is a business and needs to make a profit but charging double for an Autozone part seems a little off to me. I though dealerships you manufacturer parts but I guess not. They did drop the price after I mentioned it but how many people trust them and are getting screwed. Also, they don't tell you until the end that there is a 2.5% surcharge for using a credit card. I didn't know business charge the surcharge for credit cards. I know businesses get charged by the credit card companies but I have never seen a business pass that to the customer. A little notice ahead of time would have been great. Anyway, I'd watch out for this place, make sure you review line by line what they are charging you for.

Almost a good buying experience…read more My wife and I purchased a brand new car at Murdoch Hyundai last week. Overall, the dealership experience was fine - everybody was friendly and curteous as one would expect them to be and the finance guy was actually decent and didn't try to puch a bunch of extras on us. My problem was with the salesperson, Adah. She was friendly and responsive but was virtually clueless about the options and features of the vehicle we were planning to purchase. She thought the 147 horespower Hyundai Kona had "about 300 horsepower". She said the vehicle we bought (Kona N-Line S) had adaptive cruise control which it didn't on that trim level. She said the navigation works without a phone being paired which it doesn't. She suggested that there is no need to follow the 7500 mile oil change interval specified by Hyundai and instead said "most people just stretch it out to 10,000 miles". WHAT!!! Why would recommend I void my warranty??? She said window Tinting would be done on Tuesday - it was done on Thursday. Basically, I felt everything coming out of her mouth was just a guess that she was comfortable presenting as fact. Overall, I have no problem with the dealership but having a salesperson make so many mistakes misrepresenting / incorrectly representing a vehicle is unacceptable.
