This could be a great place if the ATLANTA experience wasn't the case. We recently went for a friend's birthday brunch. It was my first experience and I was expecting a great experience but it was disappointing. Service was mediocre at best and it's overpriced. My bill was $95 for store bought food from Publix masquerading as fine dining. Beware they will kick you out after 90 minutes. The rude server came over and yelled it was only 3 minutes left on our experience. Also the chairs had stains in them and one of the glasses was dirty. Save your money. It's t was an expensive and less than desirable experience.

This high tea establishment is just so cute! I love everything about it and I'm so happy that we have a place in the city to have high tea! Reservations are required but from the finger sandwiches to the assorted tea options, it's just so cutesy! The fine china, the decor, the staff, everything is just above and beyond! I definitely think the prices are reasonable considering you're going for the experience. Parking is a hit or miss. Okay now that I'm done gushing, I will say that I definitely appreciate this spot having non-caffeinated options for those with sensitivities. The have about 20 flavored tea options and you do have the option of making them "dirty." My favorite sandwich they have is definitely that walnut chicken salad with the cranberries. Chefs kiss. They also have cucumber and smoked salmon options. They have pastries galore including danishes and scones, yum! Definitely in my rotation for cute dates with the girlies!

First class experience in a room beautifully decorated. You're transported to a time where afternoon tea was a treat as soon as you walk in the door. There were so many tea options that it's hard to pick just two but we went with the Apple spice tea and white peach tea. I loved the white peach tea. It was my favorite between the two. Loved the cucumber and the salmon tea sandwiches. The desserts were nice too. Service was wonderful. You're allowed to enjoy the experience without someone hovering the whole time.

We had an absolutely lovely time at afternoon tea! The host was not only warm and welcoming but also an impromptu photographer--happily helping us snap a few adorable group shots. One of my usual concerns with afternoon tea is whether there will be enough variety (and quantity!) for everyone. That definitely wasn't an issue here. The tea sandwiches were both plentiful and delicious--especially the chicken salad, which was my personal favorite. And let's talk about that dessert tower... the banana pudding was a standout! By the time we wrapped up, I was happily full. It was a greatl way to spend the afternoon.

I've been going to high tea since childhood so I have a certain expectation for food and service when going to tea. My coworkers and I have been to other places for tea and wanted to try this place since we heard it's Black-owned. Simply put, this place is fabulous! It's located in the Virginia Highlands section of Atlanta. There is ample street parking in front of the restaurant, however, trying to pay for parking isn't the easiest task. There is signage to guide you to a website for parking but the website has a page of other parking websites, for which you can pay. This is pretty confusing. Also, it's not clear what the "parking zone" is so I actually went into another surrounding establishment to ask. This is the only negative thing I have to say about my experience here. We made reservations (strongly recommended) and had to put down a $25 non-refundable deposit, per person. That said, DO NOT make reservations unless you absolutely know you can make it or you don't care about losing your deposit. Also, it's $95/pp (your deposit is applied to your grand total) and 20% gratuity is automatically added to your final bill. They don't have an issue with splitting checks either, so keep that in mind. In any event, we showed up for our reservation and were greeted promptly by Brandon, who was a great waiter for the duration of our time here. The decor in the restaurant is lovely and everything is basically set-up to for photo opps! Once seated, we were told that we get two pots of tea for the entire table along with a food tray and dessert tray. They had cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon toast and chicken salad sandwiches, which were adorned with The Dirty Tea logo, as well as other random logos (like the Avengers LOL). Everything was delicious. Our dessert tray had scones, macarons, tiramisu, raspberry cheesecake, some DIVINE chocolate mousse pastry and other sweets. We were also provided with our own clotted cream for the scones. I highly recommend this place for high tea, a bridal shower, or a ladies afternoon! I'll be back!

Brandon was a very personable server and host for our party of 4! Gosh, it is SO cute in there. It's a cozy space that is truly made for a posh afternoon experience with your girlfriends (or guys who also enjoy a luxe pink dining room). The small bites are cute and standard for a tea tower. They really paid attention to all the small details and included so many tiny moments of delight, from the bee-shaped honey container to the different tea sets at each table. I can't wait to go back!

I went to Dirty Tea to celebrate my friend's birthday. Dirty Tea is beautiful, with great customer service and located in a nice area. They offer street parking and a back parking lot for $10 an hour, but you can park at the church across the street for free. It's a great spot for all ages and perfect for a girls night out!

Lovely lovely lovely experience, decor, tea options, food and service! Love that it's black owned by a mother & daughter. My mom & I have been here a few times and it is always a wonderful experience. I can't recommend this place enough! I like that they have added a mini tea service if you don't want to pay a hefty price tag and want a shorter service with the same great experience. I would like to suggest to the owners to share the prepaid service and gratuity with your servers! They are the ones who offer the tea service after all! It's not just the kitchen staff. Thank you!!

If you're looking for an exceptional tea experience, GO HERE! It doesn't matter if you're an experienced lady who lunches, a new Bridgerton fan, or are just learning about tea time...The Dirty Tea is truly a must-have experience! And I'm not exaggerating; my husband told me to call it a "hidden gem" in this review. And it is! We went in for an afternoon tea experience on a Sunday. We were able to easily find parking on the street and get inside quickly. The dining room is just as beautiful as it appears in the pics you see here. Each table has a unique arrangement of tea pots and cups that appear themed to me. The owner was there and engaged us in conversation. She answered all our questions around how the business came to be. The food on our tiered tea tray was excellent. The staff was so friendly and willing to take pics for us on all of the IG-worthy backdrops. If you're on the fence about this one, just do it!

We had a good experience at Dirty Tea. We were a very large group of 12 people and Dirty Tea was able to accommodate us (on two tables) with a reservation (and a deposit). Process to book was rather seamless. Our party got there on time - they do have valet but most of us found street parking pretty easy! It took some time to get seated but they had a small area to wait (not big enough for our group as many people who were done with their experience were taking pictures there). However we did make use of the space to take some pictures too. Once seated, I was impressed by the attention to detail on every table from the plates to teacups to the table cloth. Each table was unique. I must say with all the things on the table, it felt a bit overcrowded. We ordered our teas - some boozy some not (ask your sever as most teas can be made boozy but pick your liquor appropriately). We didn't get a choice for the snacks but it was definitely plentiful - sandwiches to scones and macarons. They were nice to accommodate a few in our group and get some vegetarian cheese sandwiches too. The teas were great and the munchies were good... The table was crowded with food and tea - that's probably my only gripe (small table for the size of our group) but I had a blast. The server we had messed up our check and it took the over a while to refund us for the incorrect charges. But overall this was a fun high tea experience. Will definitely come back when I feel indulgent again.

Very cute tea shop! Price of $90 pp was a bit steep in my opinion especially considering they limit you to two tea choices per table- a bit of a hindrance if you have a large party and people like different teas AND were each paying $90 so everyone should be able to choose their own tea flavor. This is a 90 minute experience so I'd advise you to be on time, though we went over time and didn't feel rushed to leave at all. Overall a very nice experience, just pricey.

This place is so well decorated and the icing on top are the seasonal details. The staff were exceptional and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and the tea options are exceptional, I would recommend not coming there hungry this is a perfect stop in between meals or for a proper tea time.

I took my daughter to The Dirty Tea Atlanta for her 14th birthday, and it was absolutely magical! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was stunning -- modern, elegant, and full of charm. When I booked the reservation, I mentioned we were flying in from Florida, and the staff truly made the trip worth every penny. The host was an absolute gentleman -- professional, kind, and attentive. He got everything right! Toward the end, I believe the owner stopped by, and she was so sweet and welcoming. You can tell this place is run with genuine love and care. My daughter was in total awe -- she felt like a princess the entire time. Even though I had to switch up my outfit last minute (I cut my foot the night before and needed stitches ), the experience completely made me forget about it. The Dirty Tea Atlanta is Black-owned, beautiful, and such a vibe. I'd recommend it to anyone who has a little girl or any woman who loves the finer things in life. Truly worth the trip!

Backdrop: My partner and I were in town for a photographing event and stopped here due to my affefor botanicals. Service...started off absolutely horrible! We walked in a grabbed a high top in the bar area. The tender (that resembled Ms Badu) was more interested in her friend and boyfriend than serving us. After the lack of acknowledgement I went and stood at the bar, for about 5 minutes. Finally, a look (of disdain), but nothing more. I went back to my partner. We discussed leaving. I walked back to the bar, after approximately 20 minutes after entering this establishment she finally decided we weren't leaving at took out order. After seeing a shift change, we decided to stay and order food. Beyond was the new rep for the business and this he was the best person for saving this from a 1 star review! There was the appearance that he genuinely cared for his customers. We weren't special, he treated everyone with the same upbeat courtesy! "Beyond", and, what I presumed was the owner saved the experience/vibe . Overall this a unique venue, as it's the only kava bar that actually serves food. Though I was a participant, there appears to be special theatrical events upstairs. The restaurant and bar is separated if this is important to one's experience. There are plenty of board games, if this maybe your thing. Food: Good, portions a bit small for price, for the type of food - 4 stars Beyond (staff) - 5 stars! Food server was amazingly courteous. Gave off owner vibes - 5 stars! Botanicals (quality) - 3 stars Kava - 4 stars Parking: paid if you don't want to hike in the heat! 3 stars Beyond should be the metric for all future hires! "Ms. Badu" should be removed from the lineup, as her attitude is like a hole in the hull!

Thus shop is doing all things right!…read more Let's start with how we got here ! A friend sent me a picture of a Tik Tok picture featuring an ube latte! I responded with - when are we going? We decided we would wait until the weekend since we would have to drive from Cobb county to the city. I started doing some research and did not see ube latte on the menu. I called the phone number listed on yelp- but it appears it is just a cell number and went directly to voicemail. I went to the website and found an email address. I sent a basic question/ do you have an Ube latte on your menu? To my surprise I received a response! This simple response was exhibit A that they don't play about customer service On Saturday morning I arrived to the shop around 11am! The coffee shop is a neighborhood spot! As such, you will just have to find street parking in the neighborhood. I ended up parking a block away. This place was crowded! I did have to wait in a line. However, I enjoyed checking out the item for sale while waiting in line. The book titles had me laughing , this is your go to spot for a unique gift! We ended up ordering the following: 1. Hot Matcha latte with ube and oat milk 2. Hot ube latte with oat milk 3. Cheese danish NOTE: I did confirm that the matcha they use is NOT pre- sweetened. This is a huge plus in my book!! The item came out quickly. All items weee served in to go containers. I am not sure if this is just standard practice even if you are dining in. We were able to grab a table outside! However, this place was crowded and open seating was limited! My matcha was AMAZING! It was not too sweet, which is how I like my matcha. The cheese danish was also delightful. My friend said she enjoyed her latte too. I will note that I did not taste the Ube flavor. This coffee shop is a vibe, but also serves yo tasty drinks and treats! I would highly recommend checking this spot out !
