She's always makes you feel listened to and appreciated. We do Puppy Kindergarten once a week at this location, too, and it's great. The space is clean, and the lessons are mostly for the people. The puppies get to play with each other while Katy teaches us and gives us the tools we need to work with our dogs. On top of that, she calls us during the week to check up and make sure everything's going well! Katy is really a great asset to the store and to anyone who comes here. I also want to say that Monique, one of the check out/general staffers, is always lovely to us, and the rest of the staff are generally friendly and polite. Even when we have to come in before opening to drop off our dog at Banfield, they are professional and courteous despite the fact that the store hasn't even opened yet! My wife and I have had absolutely terrible experiences with the Banfield inside this location, but we will always use this Petsmart. It's always a great experience.

I brought my dog here for years for routine check ups. She never really had any issues before. But…read morewhen I actually had a concern it kept getting dismissed by multiple vets at this saw clinic. She was having a lot of itching and hair loss. I was told that the hair loss is just normal for her breed and that's what's likely causing the issue. I was never even offered anything to treat the itching. After being told this for the 3rd time, and with my dog experiencing progressive hair loss and worsening itching, I finally took her somewhere else. After just one visit at another vet clinic, the vet went over treatment options and rightly guessed that my dog was having allergies based on where her hair loss was and where she was itching. She even discussed other causes if this treatment didn't work. Petco didn't even ask me this. Since starting a prescription allergy pill her itching has greatly decreased and her hair is growing back. Looks like it wasn't just her breed's genetics.

From the moment I arrived, Tayah was rude and unprofessional, making harsh comments about my dog being matted without even touching him. I explained clearly that she could trim as needed if there were any mats, but to leave his face and tail. When she called later, she even admitted he "wasn't as bad as she thought." Yet when I picked him up, his face was completely butchered - easily the worst Goldendoodle haircut I've ever seen. She had shaved awkwardly around his nose but left the sides untouched. As I asked her to fix it, I overheard her joking to the other groomers that this was the "second Goldendoodle she's victimized." As she was fixing it another groomer had to come in to help her as well. I believe she might have been in training, but If that's the case, it should have been disclosed before the appointment - I would never have booked with someone inexperienced for a dog with a difficult coat. The awful haircut was one thing, but her attitude towards me since I walked through the door sealed the deal. I will NEVER return to this PetSmart for grooming again.

But, I found them at THE CAT CONNECTION, 1500 miles away in Dallas, TX!!! The price was good, the service quick, and the communication excellent. Making those accusations without facts & bashing the business on it, only make those people look as bad & irrational as those ACTUALLY working mills.. Yeah. So my review is based on my actual experiences going in and physically working with Petland staff. And every time I visit Petland, I have an awesome experience. Eric and Dominique have made sure of that. Before I had my puppy, no matter how busy - staff was always ensuring that I was well taken care of. They were more than okay with letting me play with all the puppies I was possibly interested in until I found the right one. More than one staff member proved that they all hold a plethora of knowledge on the breeds AND where their stores even acquire the puppies from. After I got my puppy (not from Petland), Eric did a great job showing me around the store offering tools and toys I'd need for him! I ended up getting a crate starter pack. He gave me his full attention & helped me every step of the way. Very big on product knowledge too. Later, I needed a soft carrier for air travel & not only was Dominique helpful on the phone, but without even seeing me first, she knew I was the one she had spoken with & what I was looking for! She was considerate of the price range I was looking for and had me in and out so easy. Definitely a plus for Petland having her on their management staff. The animals are innocent and despite what they typically charge, Petland is doing their job in finding them all their forever homes. I'd say, if you need any kind of products or equipment for your best friend, this really is a great place to take advantage of that.

I found my visit to this location making me think about ethical behavior associated with animals in our world. Please consider adoption.
