Our dogs are not always willing participants for grooming, but the ladies at Salon Fido do so well with them! When we first started coming here they asked me to text them a picture of what style of cut I wanted and they have always exceeded my expectations. After being groomed here my dogs fur is very soft and they smell great. They are very responsive to phone calls unlike other groomers I have used in the past. They also have always been extremely accommodating to help get us scheduled for our appointments. Highly recommend Salon Fido!

We were looking for a groomer because our shepherd-husky mix needed a bath. We typically just take…read moreher to the local dog wash and do it ourselves but it's too cold (and she's too hairy to do in our tub). Salon Fido was recommended by a coworker and was close to home. My husband called to inquire about prices and couldn't get a straight answer. They told him it would depend on the dog's fur and temperament. When asked what the 'worst case scenario' would be, they told him $75. You can either drop them off in the morning and pick them up at noon, or drop them off at noon and pick them up at 4p. I circled the building because I wasn't sure if the driveway next to it was theirs (no signage) and you can't park on Main street. I liked that they had two different doors for drop off and pick-up, you never know what kind of dog you might meet in a small lobby. Drop off was easy, someone was there to take her right away. The surprise was at pick-up....$63 for a shampoo, ear clean and nail trim. I get it, she's super hairy - but she required no cutting or shaving. And she's incredibly docile, doesn't put up a fight - just looks pathetic. We typically trim her nails at home and she just lays down while we do it. So, I'm not sure why the cost was on the high end. Just because she's hairy? She smelled decent, her fur was soft and her nails were nice and short, clearly filed which we don't typically do. My husband picked her up and said clumps of hair were just falling off of her, like she didn't get a good brushing after the shampoo. Overall we are satisfied but we will be looking elsewhere if she needs a bath before it's warm enough to do it ourselves.

This facility had my cat for 24…read morehours after a cat fight (plus 3 other vet appointments at this location in the span of a week), only for them to send her home with an infected bite wound/infection site on the side of her neck. If I hadn't found it myself the day after picking her up from 24 hour watch (exploding in puss) she would have died. Over $3000 dollars later, 4 separate visits, and multiple blood and organ tests without actually dealing with the problem (an infected neck/bite wound). They refused to reimburse any fees caused by this omission, which they also refuse to admit, stating no medical error occured after attempting to follow up with their management team.

I went by later as it was very late in the afternoon and was concerned about my senior cat. I went in and the vet tech proceeded to yell at me. The vet contacted me to advise me about my cat; I told him about the incident. When I got back, she proceeded to argue with me. This vet tech understandably was having a bad day and took it out on me. No excuse. I have gone to veterans for many years and never experienced such treatment before. Vet Trch needs stress management training,and customer service/people skills.

He asked for last name and when I gave it he said "weird they called about their cat's records yesterday". They only have a dog. He then asked to put me on hold and I said sure. Came back on and said they never did vaccines on the "cat" and he's "not sure what you want from me". I said I'm calling about a dog and he said "oh yes it's a dog". I asked if they did a tick test cause the owner had said they did. He said yes they did but that was it. I said okay that's all I need and he said "you're welcome" and hung up. Very unimpressed with the whole interaction and would expect more kindness from a fellow vet med professional.

Dr. Mike Cohen put my mind at ease that I am taking great care of my cat Paulie and there wasn't necessity for worry about excessive care as Paulie is an older cat, and just as people age, and aren't perfect, that goes the same for animals. I am so glad Paulie visited Dr. Kohn, and we met his friendly, lovely wife Maricel as well today. This veterinary clinic I feel comfortable, like I was was with family and friends. I can tell Paulie, my cat enjoyed his time at the appointment with Dr. Kohn today, as he is happier than usual today.

When my parent dogs are retired, they go to Dr. Vitale for their spay and neuter, then live out their lives with me as a pampered pet. The staff at Sun Prairie pet clinic is caring, compassionate, and love what they do. The price here is lower than other area vets. You will find here honest, caring, hardworking vets and staff that take care of your best furry friend. Highly recommend this practice.

Been going to that clinic since before it changed hands. Called to make an appointment and since…read morethe animals had not been in for over a year due to my medical issues and cancer treatment - they told me that we no longer have a relationship and could not get my animals in for 20 days for treatment of possible infection. How do you treat people that have been coming to the clinic for years with no grace or tact? Promptly found a vet (who has never seen them) that would get them in immediatly for treatment. Will never go back. We had had issues getting prescription for one of the animals food in the past. Refusing to send in without an appointment. The animal that needed it has had said prescription for 10+ years. Despite that we still continued to go there. Not any more. Do not go there if you expect any sort of customer service. Worst place ever.....

Extremely poor experience with Tabby and Jacks new location in Verona!…read more Took our Samoyed in for a grooming, getting brushed out, nails clipped, and coat cleaned up. They called and said that there was some matting under the belly and in the rear end. Gave them the "go ahead" to trim up those two areas a little more. Two hours later they called and said that he was ready for pickup. Asked us to take care of payment while they go get him and bring him out to us. When he was brought out he had been completely cut off of all his coat, except for the tip of his tail, front of his head, and paws. He was trimmed up to look like a poodle! And the bill was $40 higher then what was quoted because of a "matting fee" added to the bill. The young gal who did the job apparently had absolutely no experience in double coat dogs Would not recommend them to anyone I know.

Prior to the grooming session, I explicitly communicated that my dog suffers from severe anxiety, possesses highly sensitive nails, and reacts poorly to blow dryers. These crucial details were conveyed to ensure a calm and safe experience for him. Madelyn'a immediate response was one of overt rudeness and unprofessionalism, marked by dismissive eye-rolling and a sarcastic retort, "Oh, like I haven't heard that before." This utterly disregarded my legitimate concerns and set an alarming precedent for the subsequent care. Upon collection, my dog was visibly trembling and in an unprecedented state of distress, far beyond his usual initial apprehension. It is important to note that at seven years old, he has undergone numerous grooming sessions throughout his life without ever exhibiting such extreme post-grooming trauma. The full extent of the horror became apparent shortly after. Once I secured him in his car seat and returned home, I discovered a horrifying scene: his entire car seat was saturated with blood. Closer inspection revealed that every single one of his nails had been severely butchered and was bleeding profusely. This was not a minor 'quick' on one nail; it was a comprehensive and shocking mutilation.I immediately contacted the establishment to address this grave matter with Madelyn Sanderson and her response was one of complete denial and appalling indifference. She disavowed any responsibility, callously suggesting the injuries were likely due to my dog moving around too much, stating "it happens," and incredibly, instructing me to "get over it." This complete lack of accountability and empathy is inexcusable. As a direct consequence of her gross negligence, two of my dog's nails subsequently developed severe infections, necessitating veterinary intervention and causing him immense pain and discomfort. It is unequivocally clear that Madelyn possesses neither the necessary temperament nor the professional competence to work with animals, particularly those with specific sensitivities or anxiety. Her inability to interact with stressed animals, coupled with her dismissive attitude and demonstrable negligence, renders her entirely unsuitable for such a role. Given the severity of this incident I have formally reported this matter to the Board of Health, my local Attorney General, office, and the Better Business Bureau. I firmly believe that if such egregious treatment has occurred with my dog, it is highly probable that other animals under her care are also at risk. This level of neglect and unprofessionalism is utterly unacceptable and must be addressed with the utmost seriousness.
