My Black Lab has been going to the Dog Scoop for day and occasional overnight care for more than five years. I couldn't imagine taking her anywhere else. They care for a large number of dogs each day with great space both outside and inside. And even with the many Black Labs they have, they always greet her by name. I took Mocha here for a bath and tidy which includes nails, teeth. They also ask you what you would like for them to concentrate on or be more sensitive. It usually takes 2-3 hrs so you can drop them off and come back later. Reservations are a must. When I went to pick her up, she smelled soo good and looked so beautiful! Her hair was shining so brightly and was super fluffy and they gave her a little holiday scarf. Love it! read more

I started taking my dog here when she was about 12 weeks old and stopped taking her when she was about a year and a half old. There are 3 reasons I stopped taking my dog here: 1) My dog got giardia 2 or 3 separate times because I was taking her to The Dog Scoop and management wasn't doing very much to prevent the spread of it between dogs (i.e. asking owners of suspected carriers to treat their dogs before bringing them back to The Scoop). Instead, dogs that are carriers just spread it to other dogs through sharing of water, toys, etc. The 2nd time my dog got giardia from The Scoop I stopped taking her for 3 months to treat her. When I brought her back to The Scoop she got reinfected in 2 visits. I'll give The Scoop credit, they reimbursed me for the $200 of medicine it took to treat my dog the 3rd time, although management said they couldn't have prevented my dog from getting giardia because my dog eats other dogs poop (a habit she learned as a puppy from other dogs at The Dog Scoop). That may be true but I brought my parents dog there for a week (while they were on vacation) and he got giardia, and my brothers dog has gotten it from The Scoop as well. 2) The staff / handlers are really great at The Scoop (although I was never a fan of their dog trainer, he seemed pretty rough with the dogs and was kind of a dick). Very courteous, knowledgeable about dogs, and just good people. Although, I don't think there were enough handlers for the amount of dogs they were taking in. Most days they had 100-140 dogs there with maybe 3-4 people outside. I don't think that's fair to handlers or the dogs. At $30 a day or $3,000-$4,200 that The Scoop probably takes in daily for day care you'd think management would hire enough staff. I don't know what the right number is but I don't think it should be 28-30 dogs per handler. 3) After being a good customer for about a year and a half (I referred new customers, prepaid for about 60-80 visits, used other services, bought food there, etc.) management was pretty curt and unapologetic when my dog got giardia a 3rd time. I was surprised because there had been times I shot the shit and drank beers with management in the front office while waiting for my dog. When it came time to deal with a good customer they opted to be curt and write me a check rather than treat me courteously, maybe even come up with a plan to minimize the spread of giardia between dogs at The Dog Scoop. I've since started taking my dog to Tail Waggerz in Newton. So far it's been great and my dog hasn't gotten giardia. They're also open 7 days a week and do boarding. This review is for the grooming part only and is years overdue. I would be lost without Allison. Maybe I should say my dog would be lost without her. I always ask for a pretty basic cut - shave him as far down you can. He doesn't have to come back too often (maybe every 5-6 months or so, we'll do his nails more often locally) but she crushes it every time. I don't know how she does it! His hair always grows out really evenly and nicely so we can take a while in between cuts. Q is a chorkie - half chihuahua half yorkie. He's feisty as hell and there is no way she can have an easy time grooming him, yet he comes out of there looking PERFECT every time! The complaint I've received from my local groomers (we've tried a few around Malden, Melrose, Revere) is that Q's too feisty to cut. His cut, when I get it done locally, is always uneven and often looks like he ran through raggedy bushes or something. (Sorry local groomers, I know he's not easy and I greatly appreciate you. Sorry for the hell he's put you through). I always apologize to Alli about his feistiness but we've been coming to her long enough that he actually let's her groom him more easily. We live in Malden and make the drive down here because she is SO good at what she does. I've tried out other groomers in my area and I'll reiterate that the cut that my dog receives from them is incomparable to what Alli can do. She is my and Q's haircut hero. Q and I are so thankful for you Alli! I also read someone else's review that their dog was there all day and when they picked him up he/she peed like they never peed before! I come all the way from Malden, sit through rush hour traffic to get here. When I get here, I take Q for a ten to fifteen minute walk to try and help make him tired so he's not too feisty for her. He's literally in there for an hour or so. When he comes out, you would have NO idea that I took him for a walk. He gets stressed out around any dogs that are bigger than him (in which is all of them - he weighs 8lbs). As soon as he's out that door he pees forever. Google AFV chihuahua peeing on curb and that's my dog when he comes out after only being there for an hour. Different strokes for different pups I suppose! I know that they also do get very very busy, especially around the holidays. If you're thinking, "My dog might need to be groomed in a few weeks." Book now. I've been taking my puppy to The Dog Scoop since we got him at 3-ish months of age, and I couldn't be happier. He spent a couple of months in the puppy area, which is located right in the main office so the pups can get constant attention. Once he was neutered, he moved to the adult dog area where there's more freedom, open space, and it's partially outdoors (but still the dogs are constantly supervised). The thing I find most amazing about The Dog Scoop is that it seems so laid back of an environment, but they have their shit together like the pricier, hoity-toity daycare facilities I looked into. It amazes me that they recognize my puppy immediately every day I bring him in, and that they will tell me who he played with, how he behaved, etc. When he was in the puppy area, one of the employees informed us that our pup seemed to be bored of the other puppies and would be ready for the adult daycare once he's neutered. I love how they are so attune to each dog! I've also used The Dog Scoop for overnights and, unlike kennels that my parents used for our dogs growing up, the dogs aren't kept in kennels, cages, or crates. They have a HOUSE next to their daycare facility. A HOUSE, where puppies and dogs can sleep on beds, sofas, doggy beds, blankets, etc. and play with toys. 365 days a year... even at 11:59pm on New Years Eve... there are employees in the house hanging out with the dogs. Again, constant supervision, but with much more freedom and comfort than some chain-link-fenced kennel. I love their payment system, too. They have an online system where you can view your account and buy "packages" of overnight stays, daycare days, grooming, dog walking days, etc. The bigger the package, the less each stay/session is. If you no longer need to use their services and haven't used all of your purchased days, you will get your money back for the unused days. I love this system. Love love love! One star gets removed because of the parking situation. During the peak drop-off and pick-up times (before work, after work) the tiny tiny parking lot gets full and is really tricky to get in and out of. I wish that could be improved upon... Leaving your dog with strangers in a strange place is just a bit.. nerve-wracking. I researched as much as I possibly could about where to take Charlie for occasional daycare and grooming. After much reading and much frustration over mixed reviews everywhere, I came across Dog Scoop. I'd seen their yellow Scions buzzing around town and honestly though it was some bizarre service who.. well, scooped up your lawn after your dog. I thought "who the crap would be so lazy.. ".I don't think anyone really offers a service like that. My first visit to the Dog Scoop was a bit confusing. They have an online booking system but its not very streamlined - after some confusion I just showed up one morning and asked if the dog could get in for grooming and daycare. They were happy to oblige, which was a nice surprise. The building is very.. discreet. Its next to a school bus depot, the entrance is not obvious and parking is unclear. They have a tiny lot on the right side of the building, which I think is more of the quick drop lot. To park for longer, I go with the bigger parking area on the left of the building, even though it belongs to a land scaper company or something to that effect. I am sure they get used to the traffic. If you drop off, Alex and Chris are usually outside making trips up to the parking area and back down into the daycare area. I never got the tour but from what I can see, it looks pretty fun. Kinda like a miniature golf gourse, with astro turf all around. Once you get inside the people area, its a nice, clean place. There is a good crew of employees and several dogs hanging out in the 'office'. Chris and Alex are both easygoing and know what they are doing with the dogs as far as I can tell. The groomer has done a great job with Charlie, who is delivered clean and sporting a new bandana after every visit. When I convince him to leave, he whines the whole way home, apparently unhappy to have left all his new friends. On the business side of things, its usually a little lax as far as payments. I like to pay per visit since its about once every 6 weeks, but they seem to prefer to do a 'rolling' bill cycle and just send you an invoice after a couple weeks. I would recommend this, now, after trying it out. You can pay via credit card on their online system, which saves some hassle for the guys in the office. Based on Charlie's love for the place, I have to say the Dog Scoop is a great business. They are flexible and accommodating, and very good with the dogs as well as people. The 7pm closing time is really handy, too! I think for an upstart business, these guys are dong great. I'd like to see some better parking and maybe a better location someday, but things are run just fine as it is. Now, to find a good place for boarding.. the next big challenge. read more

I just want to say, that it may *not* have been a dirty razor that caused my dog's skin infection, but it could have been that the shampoo had been diluted some time ago and that the old water might have had something growing in it. That's what one of the vet assistants suggested to me when I ran into her a few days ago. Again, the customer service here was impressive and I'm not saying you shouldn't have your dog groomed here. This review is strictly about the grooming services at The Dog Scoop. We'd tried daycare at The Dog Scoop and thought it was super convenient that you could also get grooming done during their stay. I strongly caution that the convenience isn't worth it. I called Allison before I booked the appointment. I explicitly discussed my needs and felt comfortable she'd do what I asked. My boyfriend dropped our dog off in the morning and got flustered by Allison's demeanor. He kept iterating we wanted a "schnauzer cut". We came back later in the day to find our poor standard schnauzer shaved like a sphinx cat. Listen, I get it. I really do. Maybe we weren't clear with expectations but what really got me was when I called Allison to discuss why this happened, she INSISTED that was a schnauzer cut. Whatever her definition of schnauzer cut is, it isn't the AKC definition. Now he's shedding, a quality that schnauzers typically don't have. She ruined our dog's coat! What's worse is that it's not even seasonally appropriate for such a close shave. We had to buy him a sweater to help with cold morning walks. Allison was unapologetic about the experience. It was our fault that that our definitions of a schnauzer cut differed. To top it off, our dog developed a case of conjunctivitis immediately following his grooming. It's a mess. We're going to live with this mistake for the next 6-8 weeks. Don't use Allison unless you're looking for a run of the mill cut. Anyone who doesn't know AKC definitions might as well be grooming your pet rabbit. We were able to get a refund from the management but really just wish the experience never happened. It really left a bad taste in our mouth. It'll be a while before we even come back for daycare. read more

Of course, if he makes millions, I won't have to work thereby negating my need for the scoop, but I digress. The good news is that you don't need millions for The Dog Scoop. They offer a handy, dandy pre-pay option which saves you money if your dog, like mine, is sans modeling gig. The really good news? Your dog will have way more fun at the Dog Scoop than he will EVER have at your boring pad while you're toiling away at work. He'll hang out with his little dog buddies. i am sad to give these guys the 5 star rating and let me tell you why first off, they really know what they are doing, i once went to a place in belmont (i think i will yelp them soon!!) and i walked in unannounced and they were spraying the dogs that whined, well guess what i have a beagle so they whine, its part of who they are, and i am not having my dog sprayed (would you like that??) for being a dog...anyway i digress enough. they always are outside to pick up the dog when i drop him off, they always remember who he is (but then again, who could forget that face) OK, ill cut to the chase, I'm at work here.... i think these guys know exactly what they are doing, which again is why i am upset about giving them 5 starts as you see, the better they get and more popular, the more money it will cost in the future..so sad too bad. read more

I have been taking my beagle/minpin here for daycare for about a month, and I have to say I've been thrilled so far! The staff are all extremely friendly, and Chris and Alex are fantastic. They've been great about giving me training pointers, and really seem to know what they're doing. Every day that my pup goes to the Dog Scoop, he comes home exhausted -- which is exactly why I started bringing him to daycare in the first place! The facility itself is clean and spacious. It's also one of the few daycares that is open until 7pm. Perfect for a working person! Their rates are on-par with their competitors -- and since the staff is so great and the facilities are so clean, it's actually quite a steal! My only wish is that they offered overnight boarding! I would much rather board my pup with this wonderful staff than any other place I've researched (so far). read more

So happy to have found this daycare facility! It's so convienent and they do a great job of caring for the dogs during daycare and overnights. I was very worried at first that given the amount of dogs they have per day that they couldn't keep as close of an eye as I would want on my dog, but after bringing her for just a second time we were both greeted by first name! I was shocked and so happy they remembered her a week later. They also post pictures on their Facebook page that show the dogs throughout the day and having fun. I always look forward to checking the day my pup attends daycare. Overnight staff is great as well; the first time I left my dog I emailed them asking for an update, as she hadn't been away from me since adoption, and was expecting a brief email back. I got two very detailed emails with pictures and videos. It was really appreciated and kept me at ease for the remainder of the weekend. I couldn't recommend this facility more! read more

I've been taking my dog here for almost a year and I love it. He's always excited to go to school and is tuckered out when we pick him up. Alex, Chris, and all the staff are friendly and take good care of the dogs. They notified me when they notice my dog wasn't acting normally and prompted us to get him checked out. Sure enough, we figured out he had been sick and ate something funny when he was at home. I always feel assured when I drop my dog off here. Their grooming services are lacking, though. I figured since I'm already taking my dog for daycare, might as well pay for the grooming so I can kill two birds with one stone. He looked clean and smelled great when I picked him up, but when I touched my dog I felt tons of mats all throughout his body. I've had him groomed professionally before (and have also groomed at home) and have never had this problem. So, to sum it up--The Dog Scoop is great for daycare and your dog will love you for it. I can't say enough good things about The DogScoop, where my dog goes to doggy daycare. I am a slightly neurotic new "mommy" to a beagle puppy, and I trust Alex, Chris, Allison and the entire staff implicitly to care for him, and, most importantly, make sure he gets his plentiful energy worked out so he is nice and "calm submissive" when I pick him up. He gets to be a puppy and interact with other dogs all day, which is wonderful. I was initially very concerned about how doggy daycare would impact our potty training efforts, but The DogScoop put me at ease - they have a special puppy area that is very well staffed (I stopped by in the middle of the day once, and there were about 2 dogs to a person!), and the pups get walked frequently to help avoid accidents. I wasn't expecting to sign up for daycare, but I'm totally hooked - and so is my dog. This week my dog is sick and can't go to daycare. The DogScoop came to the rescue and quickly (within an hour!) arranged for a dog walker to come twice a day, much to my relief! They really do care about their human and canine clients, and will therefore have my business for many years to come. read more

The Dog Scoop has been taking care of our 3 dogs for some time now and we have been absolutely thrilled with their services! We have the dogs walked either once or twice a day and they are always reliable. Our dogs adore them. We have 2 bernese mountain dogs and 1 chihuahua. The chihuahua goes to small dog daycare one or two days a week. He is always exhausted when he comes home! We have also taken advantage of one of their training sessions - with great results. They care a great deal about dogs - and it shows. We have our 2 berners groomed about once a month by Allison - they always come back beautiful! She is kind and gentle and puts a great deal of effort into making dogs comfortable. Alex is wonderful - he really knows dogs and understands their behavior. Again - I HIGHLY recommend them for walks, daycare, grooming, and training. They are professional and fun!! read more

Before getting our puppy we did a lot of research of various dog walking and sitting services in the area. After visiting the Dog Scoop we knew it was perfect for us! Alex and Chris were extremely friendly and willing to show us around. They definitely have the best hours (7 am- 7 pm) than any other daycare around too! If you do the prepay daycare packages it's also the best deal at $25/day - also cheaper than doing two dog walks during the day. There's a monthly newsletter, you can pay online, and they even have a wide range of food and supplies you can get through them (at non inflated prices). Jason, a certified dog trainer from there, is also really fantastic!!! He came over for a one hour session, stayed for an hour and a half, and was patient and very helpful. read more

I just got my dog groomed there today for the first time and he is GORGEOUS! The groomers did a very good job and my dog was quite relaxed when I picked him up - which surprised me because he usually hates being groomed. I am very happy with the quality of the work - they were so thorough and he looks and smells lovely. What's even better is he doesn't seem traumatized by the grooming - in the past at our old place, he would be skittish and hide all day after a haircut. My wife and I have been taking our cockapoo, Maggie, to daycare at The Dog Scoop since she was just 12 weeks old, and we (including Maggie) couldn't be more thrilled with the service!! Maggie runs into the Scoop every morning excited to see the friendly staff and the other dogs that are part of the daycare program. She comes home every night happy and exhausted. Every member of the staff, from the top down, is great, and treats each and every dog like it were their own. We have Maggie groomed at the Scoop once a month as well and she always comes back looking great. Prices for daycare are more than reasonable, especially if you pre-pay, and the hours are great, drop off any time after 7am and pick-up any time before 7 pm (extremely convenient since my wife and I both work downtown). In all, I can't imagine there is a better doggy daycare service in the Metro West area. Definitely deserving of 5 stars! read more

After reading the reviews on yelp and their informative website I thought Dog Scoop would be a great place for my dog, who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Unfortunately I was shocked by the way the owner handled my gentle, docile Ekhound. On our way to the daycare area she was walking slower than he liked and showing some hesitation (lots of sounds of barking dogs, new smells, new handler, new environment --understandable, yes?) and he just yanked on her leash twice, raising her front paws off the ground. I was rather surprised but not horrified - yet. We are standing outside the back gate behind which all the dogs are gathered, sniffing, looking, doing their normal dog thing. And one of them growls. The owner mistakenly asumes it's my dog and JABS TWO FINGERS IN THE SIDE OF HER NECK. I yell, "Hey!" and he actually JABS HER AGAIN and says, "It's a correction. We have to do it." I am stunned. So I grab her leash from him and he says, "JEEEZ!" and we are out of there. Very regressed ideas of dog training at this place. Harsh. JEEEZ is right. BEWARE. read more

So after taking a hiatus from the Dog Scoop for a few months (I was away for a family emergency), I called to make an appointment to get my dog groomed, because Allison has been grooming her for YEARS and I love the work. Anyway, I make the appointment, drop my baby off and when i picked her up....it was the WORST grooming job i had ever seen. Earlier this month, I come to find out that Allison left the Dog Scoop a long time ago and the owner has been lying to his clients about her employment!! I am appalled that a business owner would not only provide such terrible customer service but drag the name of a very talented groomer through the mud. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! read more

I want to like this place, I really do, but the place has some issues that I can not over look. Because my schedule unpredictable, I would drop my dog off some day but not consistently--this seem to irritate the owner and seemed to be moody and cool towards me--really? Sometimes he would ask, "where you been" and I swear I felt like I was a 10 year old school boy! Pissy attitude? I ignored it and continued to bring him. Next, I noticed when I picked my dog up, he was always thirsty, hungry and needed to pee immediately--a lot. It started to concern me that maybe he just needed more time to adjust, so I brought him more often and guess what--the same. OK, maybe this should be true some of the time but every time? I began to worry about the care they give to each pet. One day I arrived and some of the staff members walking the dogs and I never saw them walk out of eye sight. It's like they walk a short bit and turn around, like a 2 min....I saw enough, and decided to never came back. read more

I finally found a dog place that isn't run by sketchy people. Alex and Chris are very friendly and know how to properly handle dogs. This place has a nice indoor / outdoor area for the dogs to run around and play, and its always clean. My dogs have crazy energy, so when they go home and are passed out the entire night, I know that the Dog Scoop does its job! The prices are fair too...I used to pay more than that just for someone to my dogs for a walk, but now I can just leave my dogs all day from 7-7 and know that they are in good hands. read more

This is where you want your dog to be. They are genuine, decent animal folks. Your dog will be happy, stimulated, safe, cleaned up after and cared for. The Scoop will pick up your dog in these little yellow dog busses (Scions), they drop off your dog, and for the working man/woman, there isn't anything out there better than the Scoop! I've used them since the day Alex O. opened the door -- and have never looked back. I see the joy in my dog's eyes every time the Scoop mobile pulls up. He especially loves Jerry. This is probably the best doggy daycare in The Commonwealth. From the first call with their Vice President of Operations (Jimmy) to the constant social media updates for customers, Jimmy and his crew do a great job. I was very worried about bringing my small beagle to any daycare because of bigger dogs, but Jimmy reassured my wife and I with his cool, calm and collective way about him. Also, Jimmy's domain knowledge of canines was impressive to say the least. He was able to break down in laments terms how canines interact by describing the typical three positions held in a canine pack. Their traditional designations, especially when describing a pack, are alpha, beta, and the omega. Jimmy said there is typically one alpha couple, a male and a female, that lead the whole pack. They have a number of betas subservient to them, with the omegas subservient to everyone else. With this new knowledge, I've been able to personally watch these interactions take place when I bring my beagle to a local doggy park and prevent any hostility before it happens. First off - The groomer is a STAR! Second - the place is a dump, dirty and you've got to question how the staff manages to run the place like that. I brought my dogs in to be groomed and they came back as beautiful as I have ever seen them! I can't say enough good things about the groomer. BUT- I asked that the dogs be placed in kennels and they crated them instead. One of them isn't crate trained. Have you ever seen a dog stuck in a crate for hours when they have never been in one before? Not pretty! Second, when I picked them up, they were CRYING to go to the bathroom. I picked them up 4-5 hours after I dropped them off. My dogs have never gone potty in the house, so this must have been a MISERABLE experience for them. read more

The Dog Scoop is great! Alex and Chris are kind but firm with the doggies -- they're really natural pack leaders. And the dogs have a lot of fun. Anyplace that can poop out a young labrador retriever must be doing something right. I'd recommend the Scoop highly. They'll pick up and drop off, at least around Newton and parts of other towns, they can arrange dog walking, there are grooming services, and they even have Saturday hours. My husband gave me a wonderful golden retriever puppy for my birthday. Right from the start (8 weeks) we brought Maggie to DogScoop. They have a wonderful set-up for puppies right in the front office. They play, and the trainers take her out and helped her become house broken. They watch them carefully and are absolutely wonderful with them! Maggie LOVES going there, and she has learned all of those great "doggy socialization" skills, so she is terrific with other dogs and people. My vet endorsed taking her there early on, and he was right! We both work and I am completely comfortable knowing that she is in great hands and with great people who care for her like we do. I've been bring by two hounds to The Dog Scoop for a little over six months and have been nothing but impressed. I had been using another dog daycare for over two years (and spending over $5000 @ year) when I had two bad experiences the last of which involved one of my dogs coming home with an open wound on his ear and no one noticing or telling me. The owners response was unacceptable and I was bummed and disappointed to have to fine a new day care. But in retrospect, it was a blessing in disguise! The Dog Scoop is incredibly well run. There processes are very tight. They do have a lot of dogs, but they seem to have an excellent staff to dog ratio and I see the same faces so not lots of turnover. I like that their set up allows the dogs to chose if and when they want to be inside or out as opposed to rotating dogs in and out. Drop off and pick up is stress free. If you need help getting your dog(s) out to your car, they are quick to offer. They have an online billing system so no fumbling for your credit card at pick up. They have a Boarding Manager so there is a single point of contact if you want to check in. The Dog Scoop is the most wonderful place to take our beloved little lab. We searched for a playgroup or service and The Dog Scoop had everything we were looking for. Alex the owner is terrific, and also a certified trainer and very hands on, the place is impeccably clean and they also offer grooming services. My dog comes home absolutely exhausted from a fun day of playing and their prices are very reasonable. For anyone who has a busy work schedule I highly recommend this place. read more

I brought my 6 month old lhasa-poo puppy here last week. I was scrambling for a grooming appointment and I was able to bring my pup in on a weekday afternoon. I dropped my pup off at 11am and picked her up at 2pm. I thought the groomer did a great job and they put a little bandana on my dog which is super cute. The cut was $50 so i feel like I could find a better price elsewhere. read more

We have been sending our dogs to the Dog Scoop for several years. We use the convenient pick up/drop off service once a week, and we just tried their boarding service last weekend. The dogs seem to love it. The Scoop people are kind and responsive--they seem to actually care when there is a problem. You are dealing with real humans (Alex and Chris), not people for whom this is 'just a job.' One of the most fun things about the Scoop is how many great pix they post on Facebook. It's great to see your dog enjoying him/herself and we have downloaded some real keeper portraits. Definitely a place I trust with my precious puppies! read more

Our dog loves the dog scoop! she is always excited to meet new friends and play with the great and caring trainers! The "scoop" as some call it is a very clean and loving environment for any dog to play in! If you are looking for some extra help on training, the trainers will come to your house on YOUR schedule and help right away! Overall, the scoop is a great place for any dog - puppy to full grown! they are taken in with great love and care and come home feeling refreshed from the play times and walks during the day. Let me start off by saying that I have never met a group of individuals that care more about EVERY SINGLE DOG than EVERY employee at The Scoop!!! I am appalled at these flat out lies that users such as NICK C. wrote! I have been bringing my Maltese, Delilah ( who, by the way EDITH C., is only 6 lbs!!!!) for 5 years!!! I have NEVER EVER EVER had an issue. These owners and employees really know my dog and if she has the tiniest bit of "yucky poop" they tell me when I pick her up! Also NICK C. Have you ever been in the actual daycare facility for the entire day? How would you be so sure that there are too many dogs for each employee? Do you know the schedule of the daycare? Do you even know all the employees there? Just because you happened to spend a little extra time with the owners does not mean you have a clue as to how they operate their business!!! I wouldn't trust another group of people to care for my dog 6 days a week!!! Also, as far as you thinking their trainer is a jerk, I have had several trainings with him and Delilah adores him...maybe stop spending your time bashing a wonderful company and book some trainings, it sounds like you and your dog need them :) I could go on for hours about the countless times I have said "thank god for The Scoop!!" but you honestly have to see and meet the employees for yourself. These are passionate, dedicated people who all have several dogs themselves!!! I have been to countless day cares in the past that either act like they know what they are doing but are just in it for the $. The Scoop employees and owners don't act, don't discriminate against breeds or sizes because they aren't in it for the payout, they're in it because they love our dogs!!!!! Look at their Facebook page and tell me they aren't dogs lovers of all shapes and sizes!!! Also you can see how big their facility really is and how much fun the dogs have together all day!!!
