The lady helping me was so rude and couldn't care less that she smashed the top of the cupcakes by stacking them , I said you smashed them and she none will notice , and I said I noticed . She said well we can't fix them now . I unstacked them and got to the venue and fixed them , later that evening the cupcakes were served around and I got one and was not impressed ... I felt bad for my bride because, I saw it on her face when they shared the cake .. so, my disappointment for the cake was validated . My second visit to this bakery was to pick up birthday cupcakes . Again they were just ok . Nicely decorated this time tho. Limited availability for cakes and cupcakes on the island. So, they take full advantage of "island pricing"

Fresh, sweet and light. Our cake donuts were pretty gummy. Maybe it's the humidity in Rockport? Idk, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was only 10am. My husband had a sausage, egg, cheese croissant and said it was pretty good. My ham and cheese croissant was just ok. This place is so dated and old you can't really tell how clean it Is. The gas is always a bit more than the HEB down the street, but they have a convenience store here, and more pumps. This place is pretty gross- the parking lot is always strewn with garbage, and there's always gross things going on in the bathrooms here. I honestly try to avoid this one. They have a bunch of pre-packaged processed foods here. There's some warm food like hotdogs or churros. They sell beer, mostly stuff in cans for the fishermen. Ice isn't a good deal here. The service is pretty aloof around here. No offers to help much of anything except for checking you out. This location is right across the street from the Aransas County Courthouse, so behave yourself.
