    Excited to drift off

Omg! For someone who doesn't do cold at all, they have converted me. My recovery time had drastically decreased after workouts, my body is not sore and I have a beautiful glow after doing the contrast therapy. My girls both have knee injuries from sports and they got relief. I have chronic neck and back pain and the sauna/cold plunge combo has done wonders. I need a family membership! My daughter who does not sleep through the night had her most restful night's sleep after this.

I've been hearing a lot about cold plunge, and sauna- contrast therapy, but was really nervous because I really hate the cold. But my friend told me about this place, and I thought it was worth a try. This was such an amazing experience. Everything felt so good. I was feeling blah the whole week and after one session my whole body was buzzing, I feel energized and calm. The place is pure zen. I feel like I was transported to my happy place.

My visit to The Drift Studio was great! Not only did I recharge my body but I also challenged my mind. It was not just a spa moment, it was an experience. It was my first time trying contrast therapy. I never thought I would be able to tolerate a cold plunge but the room is set to such a cozy temperature and then going into the sauna with infrared red light therapy was so soothing. The contrast from hot to cold then hot was invigorating and relaxing at the same time, not to mention pleasing since I knew I was doing a great thing for my body and mind. The owner and staff are amazing and the facility is new, clean and trendy. It's a must try!

What was formerly The Treatment Skin Boutique is now a posh wellness studio called The Drift, featuring hot and cold "contrast," therapy. It's the latest re-imagining of the bungalow style building that now houses private suites where you and a friend can dip into recovery and boosted health benefits using the latest modalities in wellness including infrared red light therapy. Showers are available for before and after your treatment, as well as, electrolyte water for purchase. Memberships are also available and if you forget to bring a plastic bag for your wet swimsuit, you can purchase a reusable, non plastic one. Highly recommend trying this stylish studio to boost your post-workout recovery, mood and general health.

This was my first time doing contrast therapy. I had no clue what to expect but they were very helpful and guided me through it ! I booked the 30 min contrast therapy which felt amazing ! They provided everything I needed and even had a shower for after ! Highly recommended the drift studio for sauna and cold plunge experience!

For $85 at this time you really cannot beat it. It's the best massage I've ever had and I've had dozens if not hundreds. The staff are very friendly and the owner is the sweetest lady ever! I wish I lived closer so I can come here more often. Their prices are beyond reasonable and they don't try to upsell you for anything. I appreciate the way all of them conduct business but also make you feel like they're part of your own personal self-care team. My only "warning" for anyone is to ALWAYS arrive at least 10-15 minutes early for your appointment - especially if you're a first timer! They have an intake form you fill out and it's always nice to get settled before getting pampered. If you arrive directly at your appointment time, it will cut into whatever your service is. But once you're a repeat customer, it's pretty quick and they make sure they keep their schedule on track so no one falls behind (which I greatly appreciate!!!).

I felt like my boyfriend does better when I ask him she didn't hit any points that needed attention. She just lost and glazed over everything. She charged me $45 and told me that a one hour massage would be $65 which made no sense I will not be going back to this place. I think they were unprofessional and this place does not deserve a star. It's all exterior appearance, but not justified with internal work that's needed or needs to be done.

Unfortunately, what I experienced yesterday on my first visit to Mint Leaf doesn't leave me wanting to come back. While my therapist was kind, it seems he was left on his own (with perhaps one other person), and appeared very harried. I arrived a few minutes early and the door was locked, tried calling and nobody answered. Ten minutes passed, the massage now late, and another confused first-time client arrived to wait with me. The door was finally opened by the poor harried therapist, who then gave us paperwork to fill out (this should have been encouraged before the start time of the massage). I was then sent to the bathroom to put on a very confusing and tattered set of clothes (??), leaving my underthings on I guessed?, then went into the massage room to find there isn't even a face cradle; there was a sort of rolled up dish towel, but I spent most of the time on my stomach trying to breathe. I also believe that, especially given the logistics of a good Thai massage, each (female) client should be asked if she is ok with a male therapist. My 90 minute massage was late, short, stressful, and I probably left feeling tenser than when I arrived. No part of this felt like "self-care." I tipped my therapist well and didn't say anything negative aside from asking if he were the owner, but as he wasn't, I just checked out and left. It's been a rough couple of weeks and I was really looking forward to finding a great Thai massage place in town, but this one left me emotional and missing my old place. I hope I just caught them on an off day, and if I hear some rebuttal of this review, may try them again.
