My husband bought me a gift certificate and I got a massage/facial combo for $280 - 90 min body massage and 70 min facial, so that didn't feel too egregious. (And I'm normally someone who does a $40 foot massage.) Leslie and Jessica were wonderful (esp since my first time for a facial). Rooms were comfortable and I had a robe and slippers when I changed room. I really appreciated that though this was a nice, classy day spa, I never felt pressured or like I was dealing with snobby people. Would definitely recommend. read more

I have been coming to Harvard Garden Day Spa for years and have been getting the Gua Sha facial for a few months. This facial treatment truly transforms externally and internally. I have noticed less sagging and fewer fine lines. Jessica is gentle yet firm enough to smooth out and tone my face. This treatment has also had a positive effect on my sinuses. After several treatments, I noticed I was less clogged as fluids drained from the stroking motion. This treatment has not only helped my facial appearance but also helped drain my sinuses. I am a little late to provide my review but when you have an amazing experience you should share it with people! I had the jelly hydration facial (I think it's called) and wow, was it fabulous. I have extremely dry skin which is totally my fault. I only use soap on it a few times a week and I thought that was a good thing. I don't wear make-up, so I didn't think it was necessary. I was wrong! After feeling the difference between nothing and actual hydration, I will 100% take the steps Jessica recommended to me. For a week I've been exfoliating, hydrating, and moisturizing trying to prolong the benefits of my stellar facial. It was truly sensational. I was relaxed, super comfortable, and my face, hands, arms, and legs felt like a million dollars when it was over. I had no idea I was going to get those parts massaged too!! I was thinking what to get my Daughter-in-law for her birthday. I came up with a day at a spa. I didn't have much time ( I waited until the last minute), so I call Harvard Garden and spoke with Jessica. She was an angel !!!!! I mean this. Lets just say modern technology was not my friend that day, I was having trouble getting the gift certificate through the normal electronic process. Jessica helped me through every step. I won't go into full detail but I will say she went out of her way to help me. She made this electronic nightmare go away, and I was able to get the certificate to take to the party that evening. She could have done what other businesses do, tell me to call on another day, try later, or just send me on my way. She didn't. Customer Service at it's best. I've been a client of Harvard Day Spa for over two years. The pricing seems standard for the services. Leslie is a great massage therapist. I usually melt into her table. Jessica, the owner and also an esthetician, always seems to be striving to make her business better. She recently updated the aesthetics, of the interior of the building. It's not "glamorous," but I personally do not feel comfortable if that's the vibe--I'm a casual gal. Jessica is also constantly updating her trainings and skills as esthetician. Recently, I had the Gua Sha facial fusion and it was worth every penny. Previously my face had been feeling not myself/puffy after 3 plus stressful Covid years. A few days after the Gua Sha facial I felt like my face shape returned, fluids had drained, my face felt more relaxed and I've been feeling more like myself. I'll definitely book another Gua Sha facial, and other services offered. I went in and Leslie did a fantastic job of giving me a full body deep tissue massage. She initially focused on the pain in right shoulder blade (which bothered me a lot), then she moved on to the rest. She's got the right hands and touch for the job. This was my second time there. Went for a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Marissa and it was uhhhhhhmazing. She was super friendly and really really good at what she does.It's hard to find a place that claims to offer deep tissue massage and then actually backs it up. Super glad I went in. UPDATE: So I recently went back a different masseuse, I believe her name was Leslie, and she she was just as amazing as Marissa. Such a great massage, I felt incredibly better after the massage and she was very nice as well. I love this place. I stopped by here on Saturday for a day of relaxation. I booked a "Hot Stuff" Package. The moment I stepped in I knew that this was going to be a great experience. I was greeted by Leslie and she mentioned that she will be my masseuse. The Hot Oil Therapeutic Massage I got was out of this world! I almost fell asleep getting the massage. I work out a lot, so there were some knots being taken out, but it wasn't painful like the other places I've gone to. I highly recommend Leslie for When the massage was done I was informed that my esthetician Jessica will be coming in to start on my Oxygenating facial. I really needed this facial because my face gets really dry in winter/spring. The facial was everything!!!! My face felt like it had it's life back, and it was glowing when I left the spa. I went for a 60 min deep tissue massage with firm pressure. Marissa was awesome! She easily identified all of the places that I needed the most work. She checked in with me a few times to make sure that I was feeling okay, which I appreciated. After the massage she mentioned a few things that she noticed in our session and gave me some advise on how I can help relieve some tension on a daily basis. I truly left feeling relaxed and well taken care of. If I lived in the area I would absolutely return to Harvard Garden Day Spa for a deep tissue massage or any of their other services. p.s. If you have NOT gotten a deep tissue massage before..just know..they can HURT. The important part is to breathe through the hurt until the muscle relaxes. Not worth the hype! My hubby bought me a package gift certificate for my bday. I initially tried to make an appointment, I could not get one for 2 months! Unfortunately I came down ill and had to RS. ANOTHER 2 month wait of course. Today was the day. I expected a new, opulent facility based on their prices, was surprised to find a tiny converted house behind Wolfe's market with zero parking. The decor was nice, but clearly the home is old. First, I had a facial. I have no real review on that since I am not a huge facial fan. Next up was a 90 minute massage with 20 minute foot massage. She did a lot of superficial rubbing, very little muscle/tissue massage. Did not seem to be a trained masseuse with anatomy knowledge, IMO. Was supposed to be an "aromatherapy massage" - smelled nothing. The absolute shocker came at the end. As I was checking out, the receptionist tells me "The package price has gone up $35 since you purchased this, so you will have to pay the difference". Talk about TACKY. ANY business knows you honor all gift certificates, regardless of any price increases! I complained, and she told me she had to ask to waive it. Glad they did, or their tips would have disappeared. THESE services were not worth $255 in any realm of the imagination. I will be returning to Aromatique down the street - better prices, better facility, better massages. Personally, I have no idea why this place seems to be so popular, but they are overpriced, unprofessional, and the services were MEH. read more

I had the 75-Min. Stress and Pain Management Massage with Leslie and it was probably one the best massages I've had in very long time. The Stress and Pain Management targeted all areas and Leslie was amazing working through all my tension and hitting all my trigger points. She had the perfect amount of pressure for me, med - firm and doubled checked with me to make sure the pressure was good. I felt the perfect balance between relaxation and stress and tension relief. I had such high hopes for this place given the location and all of the reviews! I was taking a little weekend trip and had an area of congestion on my cheek I wanted extracted so it could hopefully heal in time. I just got a mini facial, I didn't need all the frills just the extractions so I loved that they even offered something like that. Parking is on the street but luckily, it was pretty open. We got started right away, she cleansed my face and got right to the extractions. Like I said, no frills. I noticed her going over the blemishes a few times and then she was done. I was surprised that I hardly felt the extractions and that was great until I realized the congestion was still there. When I went back out to the reception area, I was told that she wasn't able to extract it and that she wasn't really sure how to handle my skin which was really discouraging. I feel like that's something we should have discussed prior to starting. I wish she would have said something during the facial so that I could considered my options but she didn't make that effort. I will say that she offered a $10 discount so that was nice, but I still would have rather not spent $40 just to have my face washed. I booked an appointment the next day for a facial in San Dimas and they were able to take care of my skin without a problem. It seems that this place is for people who already have normal or clear skin and want to enjoy a facial just to relax. If that's the case, I will say the spa is nice and relaxing and Jessica overall is friendly it just wasn't for me! read more

I wish I could write a review about the actual facial, but Jessica never showed up! This past weekend was my mom's wedding. I wanted to look my best, so I scheduled an appointment for a facial with Jessica for Thursday at 10 a.m. I got the confirmation email and at 9:45 on Thursday morning, I drove to the spa. Closed sign in the window. Door locked. Lights out. "Okay," I thought. "I'm early... I'll just wait." So I waited. And waited. I knocked, in case someone was in the back. No answer. I called, just in case. No answer. I waited a little longer, my hope sinking and frustration mounting. Finally, I gave up and scheduled elsewhere. At 10:27, I get an e-mail from Jessica apologizing, but offering absolutely no explanation for why she was a no-show. Her apology was, "Sorry for the inconvenience." It was much more than an inconvenience. It was sloppy business and poor customer service. In other news, I scheduled with April at Aromatique and had the best facial of my life. read more

Jessica was finishing up with another client when I arrived, so I chilled out in the nice waiting room, the spa music already helping me to check out. The services were great. i got a groupon deal for this and i knew i'd have a chance to be around the area - so i wanted to give it a try! when i first pulled up, i was a little hesitate because it's basically a residential house - looks like the owner for the lot just decided to turn this residential land into some business? i think i recall seeing a dentist office at the back 'the back house'... after i stepped in though i feel much better, the calming music, the scents and the warm welcome from the girls. the wax was done pretty fast and painless - she tried to make small talks with you too to drive away your attention. would recommend - especially if you see any more deals! read more

LOVE this place. I was shopping around for a new "waxoligist" near my house since the lady I have gone to for years is out in LA. I was a bit apprehensive when I first got to the location since it doesn't look like your typical day spa. However, a soon as you walk in, it set up so perfectly - serene ambiance. I had set up an appointment online (which I love the option of doing so) with Jessica. I had told her this was my first time going to a new location for a brazillian wax and she couldn't have been more understanding. She made me feel comfortable and was so sweet. The wax was great and didn't even hurt! Overall, great customer service and I loved the my wax! I'm definitely going back and anxious to try the other services they offer.
