They scanned our scalp with a camera to show how yucky it is lol it was very interesting. Then they do a scalp cleanse and massage. Bought a groupon for my mom dropped her off and arrived a little early to pick her up and sat in the waiting area. I asked for the zelle information so I could provide a tip while waiting. I sent tip through zelle and continued to wait for my mom. My mom came out and we proceed to leave as our business was done n we had paid. The women in the front stops us and says "wait you haven't tipped, I said what. She repeats we have not recieved your tip". I informed her I had already sent it. She proceeded to check. Stopping me for this as if I was skipping out without paying was bothersome to me. It was also done in front of people waiting. Came for a relaxing scalp massage and left feeling like I got manhandled instead. First, they put me and my 3 friends in a room where they used a camera on our scalps and silently judged them. The only word we heard was "dandruff," because none of the staff spoke English well enough to explain anything or communicate during the service. The actual massage was unbelievably rough. Our scalps were scrubbed so aggressively it felt like they were ripping our hair out, and the neck massage was so harsh that all of us woke up sore the next day with neck pain. The atmosphere was also far from relaxing. The interior looked run down, with dead plants and broken lamps, and the products they used felt cheap. To top it off, they blow dried my hair without brushing it, leaving it frizzy and tangled. Definitely not the luxury spa experience they advertise. Save your money and buy one of those metal scalp massagers on Amazon instead. read more

I booked the hair and scalp cleanse for myself and my daughter, and added a facial for her. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. First, there were only two people working, and neither spoke English, so we were unable to communicate throughout the service. The scalp and neck massage was uncomfortable for both of us -- my daughter even said her scalp felt bruised the next day. They also applied pressure directly to the throat, which felt very awkward and unpleasant. The water feature that is shown in their videos does not move back and forth during the process, which made the service feel different from what is advertised. On top of that, the "60-minute" service ended at 45 minutes. When it came time to pay, they pushed for cash and charged an extra $2 for using a card. I tried several times to ask if a tip could be split on the card, but with the language barrier the employee became frustrated, hit "no tip" on the screen, ripped off the receipt, and handed it to me. When I asked if there was a bank nearby so I could get cash, she responded rudely, " No " and walked away. For the cost of these services, I expected much better professionalism and care. What a magical experience! Admittedly I fell asleep for part of it because it was so relaxing, but I'll try to recount everything I can remember We booked package one, which included hair washing, scalp massage and facial. After getting changed into a towel wrap, I laid on the massage / hair washing table. Note: make sure you grab the provided blanket from the basket, as your body temp drops when you fall asleep and you might get cold. Anyways, the session began with some aroma therapy, a gong, and warm air blowing over my face. It felt really nice in the AC. The facial was comfortable - I'm pretty sure there was aloe vera and other goodies applied, and a mask was laid on my face as she moved on to my hair. Warm water rained over my head like a rainbow - I have no idea how but it felt so nice, like being under a gentle warm waterfall while the rest of your body stays dry. My masseuse, Ashley, massaged my head and neck, upper back and chest, with expert and strong hands. Since I don't regularly get massages, I asked her to go light to medium strength but at the end I asked her to do a little at max strength and dang let me tell you, she is strong! She washed my hair and put lovely smelling products in it, and to be honest this is where it gets hazy because I think I fell asleep. Afterwards, she takes you to a separate area to get your hair dried and she gave me a few extra massages on my shoulder. It was a wonderfully relaxing experience in a clean, serene environment with top of the line machines. I'm not one to usually put in less than stellar reviews, but I have to be honest about the service I got. I came in a week and a half ago with my best friend after getting a Groupon for the place. We placed our appointments, came in, and they didn't take us until 45 minutes after appointment time. As the previous clients were heading out, I overheard them thanking the workers for taking them "even though they were unreasonably late to their appointments". Welp, there was my reason as to why they took us so late. My friend flew from out of state to hang out, and this threw off our schedule for the whole rest of the day. Then, we get our services done, and they lost my friend's earring while massaging her ear. Then my service ended and I looked in the bowl... dear goodness I lost a lot of hair. I've done scalp massages at other places and I've never lost that much. It felt like they were being rough with my scalp so I wasn't too shocked but it was still jarring. Then we go to blow dry. My friend has very fine hair, so her hair dried within like 2 minutes, but then almost right after, they stopped blow drying mine too. I felt my hair, still damp. Granted, I know they're 45 min behind on appointments at this point, but sheesh! I didn't pay to leave with damp hair. When we were leaving, we presented our Groupons and left. The ladies were waiting at the front for their tips and looked confused why there weren't any, and usually I definitely tip on these sort of things, but the service was just so below the par of what I'm used to. I didn't say anything at the time as to not ruin the vibes with my friend, but I had to post this review so the company is aware of the reason. We booked a head spa for myself and 3 friends here and it was the worst experience I've ever had. There was nothing relaxing about this whatsoever. It started off with all 4 of us sitting there with them doing a scalp exam and showing all of us each others scalp with a magnifying camera and no explanation at all. I was taken back to a room where I had the worst scalp "massage" I feel like I was assaulted. They scrubbed my scalp so harshly that I thought my scalp might bleed. The technician was literally pulling my hair multiple times. She then proceeded to put her fingers in my ears. When finished I was sat up and pounded on the back like a baby. The massage was the most awful experience. My tech spoke no English. They used the cheapest products and my hair was tangled and left frizzy. After we all finished and talked about our experiences the things that were done to me were not done to my other friends. I feel like I was taken advantage of and my tech was just doing random things. I would not waste money here again! If I could do less than 1 star review that's what it would be. read more

But my friends were experience was not good, her technician had an ear piece on and was listening to something very loudly, I could hear it. Not relaxing at all and rude! My friend did not have anything on her face to keep it from getting soaked. My tech was nice enough to put a paper shield to keep my face from getting wet. I don't get how the other didn't do the same thing when we were literally on the same room? We definitely won't be going back. The services weren't worth the money. I bought two Groupon's for my girlfriend and myself. We both had never had scalp massage treatments before. We both work at the hospital and we're looking forward to a nice relaxing soothing experience. Unfortunately that's not what we got. We both felt miserable through the whole one hour scalp treatment. The girl that was doing my scalp treatment did not even speak English so I could not communicate to her to tell her, her nails scratching my head were hurting me. And my girlfriend was very uncomfortable throughout her whole scalp treatment as well. Unfortunately, we both just wished it would end as soon as it started. I feel like they both did not know what they were doing. I recommend people doing their research before they go to a place where they offer shampooing and scalp treatment.
