The chairs weren't super comfortable but it was otherwise a relaxing place to wait. Lisa gave me my massage and it was great. Extremely relaxing and she worked on some knots in my back without it becoming painful, which I've experienced at massages at other places. I was so sad when it was over! It started when she called at 11:15 (at the time of my appointment, I was running 5 minutes late). When we got there she was immediately annoyed. My mom just had a surgery on her ankle so she was walking slow. The girl waited for us at the end of the hall, so when we got to where she was, we stopped too. In a very rude tone she said "you can keep walking" and pointed to where we should walk to. Obviously tone is hard to portray in a review, but I would not be spending time writing this if I wasn't upset by it. I work in hospitality and I would never talk to a client/guest in the way she did. Lastly, when we got in the salt room (it was only my mom and I in there to preface), my mom asked if she would be able to leave the room incase it was affecting her ankle in a negative way (mind you, she is still recovering from a surgery that she just got 2 weeks ago). The girl laughed at her concern and said something like "well why would you even want to leave?" She was just rude and lacked empathy the whole time. When we left the room and were checking out items in the lobby, I heard her talking to a man who worked there about us and how we were late (by 5 minutes...). There are more smaller details I did not include relating to her backhanded comments and lack of professionalism as well. It is unfortunate that what should have been a relaxing experience was actually quite annoying because of this girl. I would never come back here unfortunately.

The staff members were very friendly and they greeted me upon entry and asked if I had an appointment. Once I confirmed my appointment with them, They offered me a shower cap and then one of the girls immediately walked me to the spa side of the salon. I'll be honest I forgot their names but they were friendly and nice nonetheless. Next is the place itself. The place itself is very very clean. I can tell that this place is fairly new especially since this particular location was hard to find because there is no sign called "the float spa". This location is actually next to Raymour and Flanigan in the Deptford town center plaza and you have to enter through the "Hello gorgeous" hair salon. once I saw the salon I actually did see a sign in the window but it can easily be missed by someone who is not as familiar with the area. My float pod was very clean and I can tell that they actually do clean in between guests. The lady who helped me was very informative and she provided me with everything that I needed for my stay including ear plugs and a cushioned floating neck rest which was very needed because I cannot flow on my own lol The floating experience is self was very peaceful and I actually did end up falling asleep lol it was very clean in there and it was very warm and comforting especially with the music and the lights. I cannot do lights off in there whatsoever because I am afraid of the dark lol After the float therapy I tried to shower and wash off the salt but that was a fail. I still ended up with salt in the crevices so I ended up showering again once I got home. after showering I was guided to the Hydro massage bed for 15 minutes as an enhancement and that was just the icing on the cake! Now I don't entirely know what I was expecting being new to salt spas but I don't think I was expecting to be in the room with others who arrived after us. The other couple had a strong smoke smell and were constantly moving around (and farting?) during the session which made it a bit distracting. They also had their phone out a few times - which we were told not to bring our phones inside. The business, of course, isn't responsible for who comes into their establishment so I don't blame them for that aspect. I just wish it was a more private room so that we could've really relaxed!

We booked our session ahead of time thru their website. We received a confirmation and then showed up. When you go for a session you are escorted into the salt cave. The walls and floor are filled with dry salt. You are sitting in a gravity chair that reclines, listening to meditation/relaxing music, and all you do is breathe the air. I didn't want this relaxing experience to end. It really doesn't end when you leave as your skin feels so wonderful. I loved how the salt felt on my feet. My sinus' drained for two days and I could finally hear out of my ears. If you suffer from seasonal allergies, the dry salt really helps.

The owner Jillian was super nice and friendly. It's great being able to interact with the owner, the service in a lot better and more personable than you will get a chain massage place. Overall a great place to go in the Hellertown area. I will definitely be back. Way better experience than I ever got the local chain places.
