I brushed it off and rescheduled. The following Friday I show up again to receive an oxygen facial (The Groupon was for an oxygen facial purchased at $39) Come to find out they were only willing to deduct the $39 from the entire price of the facial which was about $170. Instead, I looked at their "menu" located at the front reception desk that had all of their services and prices and decided to go with a Micro Derm that was priced at $39. The receptionist explained that it was not a big deal to make the change (meanwhile I will still waiting for Morgan to arrive). The actual micro derm was a pleasant experience, Morgan was up beat and positive and we got along great, which is why this review is somewhat hard to write. When I got to the check out, I was expecting to pay the price of the micro derm that was in the brochure and the price that was confirmed by the receptionist of $39, that matched my Groupon. Morgan swiftly came behind the counter and said, "My Micro-Derms are actually $80." I looked at the receptionist and said, "You told me $39 and it also says $39 right here." The reply from Morgan was "That's the starting price." And the receptionist had to go back and edit the price to fit Morgans $80. I did not receive any special treatment nor did I accept anything special during my procedure when offered. It was clear that she was indeed churning in order to make a quick buck. I decided to review simply because I was mislead and swindled... I was mainly more offended because Morgan did such a great job building re pour that I felt burned and like I just spent the last 30 minutes with a deceptive used car salesman. I didn't mind paying the extra $40, it wasn't about the money, it was about getting taken advantage of. I truly help that this review benefits both Morgan and the spa and that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Now as a Merchant mariner, for over 45 years, I've done this procedure, successfuly, ever since the USCG instituted it. Also, I was an registered EMT and am still a certificated Medical Officer, aboard ships. So I actually perform these type of exams. myself. aboard ships. Thus I was appalled, as I watched them, firstly screw up the DOT papers I gave them, and then proceed to fumble the Chain-of-Custody procedure. Well, sure enough, the Medical Officer called me and advised that there were "irregularitys", in the received samples, meaning the test was rejected. So now I am under suspicion, for their incompetency. If that was not enough, when I submitted the Physical exam papers, again, I was informed by the USCG, that there were "irregularitys" there, too. So now I can't get a USCG Medical Certificate, which is required to sail--I'm out of work, because of their "irregularities". Also, they charged me almost double what I would have payed, had I just gone to Concentra. Well, so much for going back to work!

For practitioners and recipients who are not aware, there is a specific diagram for each problem area when injecting fillers. I would greatly appreciate it if you did not insult my intelligence by telling me that I have to put on makeup to see the results, and when I mentioned my previous experiences, your answer was, "Some people do not mesh together." Please acquaint yourself with the facial diagram before this company ends up with a lawsuit. This company is in total denial. She explains step by step the process from the skin applications she uses on your skin to the devices she uses. I cannot say enough good things about Cecilia. I appreciate her dedication and professionalism. I felt good and comfortable with her knowledge and skills in her craft. As far as the service I received, well it's too soon to see visual results. I definitely feel I could use another session and I will. My skin does feel refresh and rejuvenated. I am looking forward to my next scheduled appointment at Viera Body and Wellness.
