Ed was really nice, but after completing his behind the wheel training, my son proceeded to fail is driving test twice. We used Joe's driving school for two more lessons and they gave him way better instruction with a written report card of what he needed to work on. They spaced out the appointments to allow time for practice, and made him feel confident enough to try the test again. He passed and only missed 2 points. I wish we had gone with them to start. I had my first driving lesson with Mr. Edward Luna yesterday. Honestly, it is worth every penny and more. He is such a fantastic instructor. I had a 3 hour class yesterday and I was able to learn a lot of things. He will also adjust to your learning style. I have a lot of trouble focusing on things and he was patient to remind me every time. He really wants his students to learn. Other driving schools would teach you for 10 hours sure but if you don't learn within those 10 hours, you'll have to buy more but with Edward he will make sure you will really learn because he cares. I learned how to drive for the first time with Edward Luna, and I could not be happier that he taught me how to drive. As a new driver behind the wheel for the first time last April, he knew exactly what steps to take to help me ease into the process and gain comfortability and confidence. I can tell that he genuinely cares about his students and helping them to become good drivers, and importantly in line with that, genuinely cares about teaching us how to drive well and safely, rather than for the sake of simply passing the test. I found his teaching style to be spectacular and unique, in that the results of your past lessons creep up on you as you are driving, and they all start weaving and coming together as you continue towards the end -- I found it to be a very natural, organic, and unrigid process. Through it all, he makes pleasant conversation to help you feel at ease and extremely comfortable, so you don't even realize how much progress you are making. I had many "aha!" moments where I was ecstatic that everything I had been learning, from his conversational side notes to his key rules of thumb, were coming together. As an example to show how genuinely he cares about helping his students, I took about 8 lessons before I took the driving test. I failed my first driving test due to test anxiety and mishearing instructions, and then unfortunately rushed to take my second test and made a mistake in the second one without recovering from the first. Due to this series of events, I shattered all of my confidence in driving that we had worked on building through all of my lessons. I spoke with Edward Luna about it, and he then took time out of his Sunday, on his day off, to have a lesson with me for 2 hours to help me prepare for my third one.
