Whether it's for a concert (especially the sunset series) with the hubby or a Sunday blues & BBQ family, this venue is truly unique. Tucked away in the backwoods of Mason, NH, The Range touts a ample parking (with either a golf cart shuttle ride to the gate or a beautiful and charming walk through an Edison bulb lit trail over a shipping container bridge), a beautifully manicured grass oasis where you can set up blankets and chairs, a curated artists village, ice cream, food, drinks, fireflies, and cool VIP options. Some of my favorite summer evenings have been spent at The Range. A few things to note to make your trip more enjoyable: little to no cell signal (you don't need it but important to note if you're meeting people there and need to communicate), they offer a water refill program (buy their water bottle and enjoy free refills all summer long when you bring it back), pack sunblock for day events and bugspray for evening events, and dress in layers as a cooling breeze can roll through the place. All food is EXCELLENT! Great taste, great ambiance, kind staff. Tale out Food takes longer than they estimate, but it's worth the wait and we will keep going back. They are very careful with allergens but too many customizations can cause mix ups. Again, not enough to stop us from going and the solution is trust the chef, order as is, unless you have an allergy! read more

What a great little hidden gem. You can drive some balls, eat ice cream, have an adult drink, or non adult beverage, eat (mostly fried) tasty snacks/meals. Also they have live music some nights. I went to see a couple friends play and it was a very enjoyable time. Bring a blanket, or camping chairs and sit on grass, or if there is room and you prefer it have a seat on the spacious patio. Tues was taco night, I will say they are anglo tacos(I did not consume). I think they had chicken, and also fried shrimp. I ate a few of the fried whole belly clams, and fresh cut fries, and as far as fried food, things were very good. I do not think they have much in the way of vegetarian or vegan options, and if you are allergic to seafood as a family member is, she could not eat any of the fried stuff. The menu may change frequently? If you have dietary restrictions you may want to eat beforehand. read more

Lemme tell ya, if I wasn't the honest person that I am, I would tell you never to come here for BBQ and Blues on Sunday just to keep more for me! But the truth is..WOW! Listen, I am an Airline pilot and I regularly enjoy authentic BBQ in places like New Orleans, Memphis and St. Louis. The Sunday BBQ here at Marty's is AMAZING!!! I am sitting here now in front of a half rack of the best ribs I have ever had! This place has a lot going on! Great food! Ice cream for the kids! Tiki Bar in the back for the adults! Driving Range, Weekly Car shows and Live Music events! I hear they even have a yoga class "on the green" on Saturday mornings in the summer! First time here, the staff was super friendly and helped us with our order. Big portions and reasonable prices, our family was satisfied and full. Lobster roll was huge, burger was tasty, fried clams and shrimp were on point,can't wait to try other items on the menu and also the ice cream! Came for a concert here. You can only bring in a small purse, and they check every inch of your stuff for compliance. I don't respect venues that disallow patrons bringing their own water bottles. This tells me that they value profits over patron's health. Also, there were zero vegetarian options for food, so while I could not bring any food or drink in, there was nothing for me to eat in the 6 hours I was there. The little girl running the food counter was very blank when I asked if there was ANYTHING I could eat, and offered French Onion Soup, which is rarely vegetarian. Too bad, because the physical layout of the venue is great. read more

Was here for the Granite State Blues Festival in August. First we were told that you can't bring any food or drinks. So we ate lunch in the car. Then a security guy is telling us that there's no tailgating...wtf? Needless to say, we won't be here again. read more

Ive been here 3 times. Winter, Fall and now Summer. Its cozy with beautiful scenery. Their cheeseburgers are amazing as well as their hotdogs. They have huge chips and delicious lemonade. First time and we'll be back. We split a Fisherman's Platter and they gave two tartars and two cocktail sauces. Portion was plenty for us, came with fried fish, shrimp, whole clams, scallops, slaw and fries. Outside seating under tent with each table provided bleach solution sprayer and paper towels for COVID cleaning. Next table got ice cream and portions look generous for that too! read more

I have only been for ice cream, which is from a local NH company. Richardson's, I believe. Reasonable pricing and good customer service. The ice cream is good, nothing special. This place does offer a lot of other activities such as concerts, car shows, tiki bar, driving range and different events through out the warm weather season. read more

It's much more than ice cream. We stopped here for lunch over the weekend. I got the scallop role and my wife got the haddock dinner. The scallop role was served with their kettle chips. We both enjoyed the setting and food. The staff was pleasant and the food came out at a decent time. read more

I went there today 06-10, and ordered a Capt's platter, they were out of whole belly clams and offered double shrimp or Haddock I asked for the fries to be done crispy The meal was terrible, I got two pcs of Haddock the size of my palm, which tasted "funny" , 5 shrimp, four scallops, and the fries were soggy I will never go there again !!!! read more

On Sunday I tried Marty's. My order included clams,scallops,fries and onion rings, all to take home. First the onion rings were inedible. The batter was so heavy that the only taste was breading. Even pieces where a large fraction of the breading had fallen off still tasted only of the batter. The fries were not memorable. Not bad enough to condemn and not good enough to praise. The scallops had lost most of the breading by the time i was given the order. (The clerk had not wrapped the order to go yet.) All but the two smallest were raw in the center. Many of the clams formed clusters in the fryer. The clams in the center were served with raw batter. In others the strip portion was so hard it could not be chewed. The clams had little taste so again the breading overwhelmed the taste of the clams. Overall i would rate Marty's fried food as "Must Avoid". read more

I ordered a clam and scallop plate it cost 24.53 for it I got 5 scallops , 4 clams and a huge pile of frys. The waitress was great and service was too but 24 dollars you should get more clams and scallops for that price. The food tastes good but they skimp on the main part of the meal. I'm on a fixed income and this was very disappointing. I was going to go another place to get my seafood I wish I had now. read more
