Very disappointed today. Ordered the turkey Brest sandwhich with Swiss cheese and coleslaw. the turkey on the sandwhich was not real d Turkey it was deli tiurkey sliced paper thin. The texture taste disappointing. I have never had a Turkey Sandwich where the sanwhich is grilled with the cole slaw in the sandwich. The slaw was hot . when It says Turkey Breastbon the menu it should indicate that it's deli turkey and not freshly toasted Turkey. read more

The server, Ava, was pleasant, attentive and delightful. The ambiance is beautiful. The problem was the food! Quality is terrible, the onion soup had zero flavor and way too much cheese. Pasta and meatballs were bland and tasted like a frozen dinner. Cannot believe the mashed potatoes that came with the beef were ice cold... Perhaps you should hire a skilled person to cook...nothing had flavor. You have a surprisingly poor chef. Yet you charge prices that only a satisfactory restaurant should charge. The quality of the food is extremely inconsistent -- some days it's good, and other days it's surprisingly poor. Hubby & I came here spur of the moment on a Monday night for a quick anniversary dinner. It was our first time and won't be our last! Was surprised to see it was moderately busy for a Monday evening, the bar was hopping as well. We were thankfully still seated right away. Definitely tempted to sit outside since it was pretty with string lights but with the sun going down didn't want to risk it turning chilly. Great menu selections for both vegetarian (myself) and bit of a picky omnivore (hubby). We ordered a black bean burger with upgrade to sweet potato fries - these were cut thick & delicious, also a chicken tender platter. The coleslaw was handed my way from the picky eater who isn't a slaw fan. I found it perfectly creamy and yummy. Too full for dessert but I did enjoy a glass of pinot grigio. Portions were generous, food came quickly, was fresh, very tasty & cooked/prepared to our liking. Server was attentive and lovely. Bill was reasonable. Love the nod to It's a Wonderful Life as well. Have been here many times and things are usually great today seemed like everything missed the mark. Waitress was very slow, took to long getting our drinks then after dropping our drinks she said she would be right back to take our order. we waited almost 10 my while we watched her clean tables and deliver other tables food. When we received our food one of us did not get the home fries we were supposed to. Myself and my daughter got a burger and steak both medium well, both were very pink almost red inside. The waitress never came by to ask how everything was which don't matter i never return food. We the ordered 2 sundaes for desert and we thought they were making the ice cream it took so long. Mary absolutely made our experience here. The ambiance was beautiful, the food was of great quality, but the kindness and attention to detail Mary provided us and our kids was above the bar. Tonight 10/20/24, we dined here with a party of 10, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. To start, a band-aid was found in the food, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, over half of our group didn't receive their meals, and despite bringing this to the attention of the staff multiple times, there was no urgency or effort to fix the situation. At the end of the meal, we spoke with the manager, not the owner, but there was no accountability, and the only compensation offered was the removal of two salads from the bill--hardly a fair response given how much went wrong. I wouldn't recommend dining here based on this experience, and I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously in the future. read more

We have traveled to dine at Baileys for years. I am extremely sad to say something is wrong there. For over two years we have gathered with friends for lunch monthly. We also went to Baileys during Covid! We thought they did a great job maintaining the quality of food and service. Today, two of us ordered the taco salad. Neither of us ate much as it was terrible. The beef, which we paid 6$ extra for, was very cold as the rest of the salad. No taste. The manager came over right away and credited the meals, but the bigger issue is what has happened? It wasn't just the meals today, but smaller issues each time we go. We have traveled from Gardner, Westminster & Nashua. Now considering where else we can go. read more

My son lives near Bailey's so i thought I would try them out. I got my standard mushroom swiss burger. It was cooked just as I ordered. I then asked about sides. French fries were an upcharge....?? However they had homemade chips so I got those. Well the were way overspiced but they certainly were NOT homemade. So all in all the burger was very good but up charge for chips and what I was served. I think I can do better if i went next door to McDonald's and got the fries. read more

Began with one of their signature cocktails The Boston Harbor, have to say the color was comically accurate and the Swedish fish was a cute touch. I ordered the Soft Pretzel sticks for an appetizer and the Whiskey Bourbon Shortrib Burger for my entree with the fries rather than the chips though I have heard their chips are really good. Before the food arrives I must note the open feel of the floor, it wasn't busy but the open windows and separate bar design really gave the place a comfortable vibe. The music was soft and allowed for conversation, the decor was minimal but homey and I really felt like I could either dress up here for a nice night out or just pop in after work. The staff was friendly and willing to answer all my silly questions like if the pretzels can come with something other than honey mustard and to repeat the specials and what they recommend. The pretzels came warm and smelled amazing, they were salty and buttery and fantastic, paired well with the tangy honey mustard. If I wasn't getting a burger I would have eaten the whole plate! The burger arrived and though I must say the pickles on top was a bit extra it looked perfectly cooked when I cut into it and the fries were just how I like them. Unfortunately for me personally the burger itself was a bit under seasoned, and I felt it was lacking in punch I would expect from a whiskey bourbon burger. It was fine but I would probably get something else the next time I come here. I definitely will come back though! It's worth exploring the menu and the only reason for 4 rather than 5 is the sign on the front promotes the burgers and I was not blown away. However, my next visit may change that! We loved this place. We came across it during a casual drive. We stopped in thinking it'd be ordinary American fare. We were wrong. It's great! The food is spectacular. Our favorite is the fried poutine. On our second visit, several weeks in between, the waitress actually remembered us. Super sweet young lady and was extremely attentive. Our ONLY complaint is the kitschy decor. I think they need to modernize a bit and drop the "it's a wonderful life" motif. Go. Put up with the kitsch and have a wonderful meal read more

We walked into Bailey's on Sunday 6/2/24 at 4:00 .We were seated right away not to many people in the restaurant . Then we sat for 20 minuets while the waitresses walked around and talked to each other never coming to our table . Finally one of the waitress walked over to a different table to people that were there even before us to ask them if they wanted drinks . Those people also were not happy . 5 more minutes went by still no service , we got up and walked out. They just looked at us walking out and never said a word., I will cross that place of our lists . read more

Worst restaurant experience of my life!! Of the 9 meals we ordered only 3 were delivered correctly. My grand daughter's meal didn't show up. My son-in-laws salad didn't have the meat he asked for. Two meals didn't get our salads, my son's burger was wrong, but when they brought out the right burger they didn't include the fries. The worst of all the meals was my daughter's chicken parm, which had a bandage in it. I had to request the manager to come by to explain, as she was avoiding us. And as I was explaining to her how bad the meals were, another waitress started arguing with us!!! We're never returning to any of the Mariano businesses. Went for lunch, and it was a very nice looking dining room, with "igloos" outside by reservation. Staff were friendly and got us a table even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was really nice. I wasn't a fan of the onion soup, it wasn't bad just seasoned in a way that didn't make me want to try it again. The drinks were good. I had the pulled pork burger and it was delicious, and very large. That I would go back for! The only shortfall, and it is something all restaurants are dealing with, was staffing. From what I saw the servers were not assigned sections but got tables as they were seated. It led to a slow process and a longer than planned lunch. Worst service Ive gotten in a long long time. Food was actually pretty good which is the reason it's getting two stars. We waited over 20 min for a drink. The wrong drink came out had to send it back received a clear aperol sprits which should be orange. The waitress did not bring out water after we had asked and came over with the check while we were still eating. Everyone else had a dessert platter presented to them and asked if they wanted dessert. We actually did want dessert and ordered one. I don't know what's happened to Baileys, but I've come here several times in the last year + for the most part the food just isn't that great anymore. Tonight we went + I had the nachos with chicken + it was just terrible. Tortilla chips (really awful chips, no flavor) with tomatoes + onions (though i had them hold the onions), cheese (so subpar tasting, like some sort of bagged Mexican mix from Hannaford's). The worst part? I added chicken + it was dry + pretty much tasteless. The salsa was terrible + the guacamole was just fair. Seriously, I had nachos there a few years ago (pre covid) + they were fantastic. I'm sorry to say I doubt I'll go to Baileys again anytime soon. read more

Bailey's is a local restaurant for us. We enjoy the consistent atmosphere , and inviting staff. We also enjoy the consistent flavor of the foods and the variety of the menu. Our server Shea made us feel at home and connected without being overly friendly or boisterous in her approach. We would be happy to have her again as our server. The large window section is awesome during the summer but quite chilly in the winter. I'm sure climate control is no fun given the amount of windows there are but maybe some complementary sheepskin blankets or fleece blanket to wrap around your legs would be helpful. Food was underwhelming. For the most part ok except for the kids Mac and cheese which came out cold. Asked if it could be heated and it came back cold again. And was just bland and awful. My sone had about 3 bites. Ordered soup and salad to start soup came out with the meal salad never came out. Asked to take it off the bill. Drinks were hard to come by. Asked for sweetener for ice tea after about 10 minutes had to go find some for our selves. Had to go find someone to get more juice for the kids at one point also. Second time we have eaten there definitely the last time super disappointed since the menu looks good. But it's all blah to bad. And service was really awful. read more

Enjoyed a dinner out here recently. Food was okay; 4 stars for friendly service and Covid precautions. This was our first restaurant experience since the Covid outbreak. There were panels between every indoor table / booth. If it had been less cool, we would have sat outside in their patio area but it was cooler and windier so we opted for indoor seats instead. so this is an update to previous reviews which seem to keep getting better they had the foresight to set up some garden igloos outside which is where we ate lunch today, it was great, of course, it was a nice sunny 40-degree day, but we were almost too warm service was pleasant and informative food was great poutine very interesting, generous and tasty burger excellent, cooked as ordered and generous chicken parm (large i guess) was huge and very tasty everything was excellent oh, except maybe the background music!!! think i'd like to try this on a snowy day!!! very nice being able to sit outside on a sunny covid day!! read more
