The guys arrived and were very professional and they did a great job, told me how much build up they cleaned and pointed out some things I should keep on eye on for the future with our fireplace insert. While they were here I got a quote on duct cleaning for the entire house since this place was a new build. I was so satisfied with their work, professionalism, friendly nature - that I booked the duct cleaning as well. It is so hard to find good service-oriented companies and I know I found our chimney sweep company for our annual cleanings. They were hired for all air vents and a dryer cleanout on a 2,000 sq. ft. house, and particularly a bad smell coming in the laundry room. On the day of the cleaning Chris and Lee arrived during the agreed upon time window. I showed Lee around the house to the various vents and asked questions about the places I couldn't fully clear a path to the vent. The house's vents hadn't been cleaned during the time I've owned the place so it needed significant work. The same applied for the dryer. The cleaning took roughly 3 hours. I think they did a good job and made sure to take care of cleaning any messes their work caused. The one exception was the dryer blow-out which was left under the outdoor vent. My single gripe was that the final price ended up $100 over the original quote without discussion. However, it was clear that they had a lot of work to do that couldn't have been known without taking a look at things.

What started out as a flood in the basement then went to a dust storm from the drywall removal…read morefirst 12" up then again 3' up. A friend recommended that we get our air ducts cleaned. I picked Amistee Air because of their rating and I am so glad I did. They took before and after pictures of the duct work. Where needed they put plastic coverings to protect our belonging. They wore those booties over their shoes to protect the flooring as well as laying down moving blankets under the vacuumed hose. They even went the extra step to fix a mishap. From start to finish we were in good hands. Anyone thinking of hiring them I hope your experience will be as good as ours.
