Good service, home cooking, newly refurbished inside, nice local hometown crowd. One of Etowahs better places to eat. Very good prices.

My daughter (and I!) loved her biscuits and white gravy, my blueberry pancake was buttery with a perfect crispy cook on it.

The property where this horseshoe farm sits is just so beautiful. We parked at the spa and walked to the silo restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted immediately and took a seat by the fireplace while waiting for my parents to arrive. We then ordered a drink and went and sat on the patio since they were running just a little bit late. Upon arrival, we were greeted once again by our waitress that took our order and kept our water and tea filled to the brim. We ordered the soup of the day and shared the Lamburgesa. The soup was served piping hot and broth was delicious. The lamb was so flavorful, but we opted to have the jalapenos on the side. My parents ordered the Broad Burger and were equally pleased.

This restaurant was a mile away and we decided to stop there first. It's a bit of a drive from the N Rigby entrance to the the cookhouse but a beautiful ride with green fields and a stunning view of Mt. Pisgah. We were greeted by a hostess who brought us to the porch in the rear. The first thing I noticed was the sound of many voices to both sides. It was more obvious upon entering that there were multiple groups seated at both sides along community tables. We were seated in the middle of the table to the right and chose to sit across from each other. Our server, Kara, was pleasant and helpful. We ordered from the brunch menu we were given by the hostess. I ordered the scrambled egg bowl and enjoyed the best tasting egg flavor I've had in a long time. The greens, pickled onions, feta cheese and other vegetables complimented the dish perfectly. My partner wasn't sure about ground lamb ( since there are several renditions of it) but took a chance with the lamb burger and was glad she did. The fries that came with it we shared; they were crispy as we like them. She ordered a virgin bloody Mary and enjoyed it. That said the Worcestershire sauce flavor was quite pronounced and it might not be to everyone's liking. We have had several lunches and brunches over the last several days and this was the least $. I think we adjusted to the sound level after a few minutes and did strike up a conversation with some folks who came in after we did and sat nearby.

Since Brevard is a small town, I wasn't expecting to find such a good bakery, but the baked goods looked delicious as soon as we walked in. In addition to the bakery items, they also have a dining room. Since it was between lunch and dinner, we were told to order at the counter, and the only things available were salads and pizza. We ordered a sausage pizza and a Caesar salad, which turned out to be the perfect-sized lunch. Both the pizza and salad were delicious. We sat in the otherwise empty dining room, eating lunch while I watched the bakers working in the back and kept eyeing all the baked goods. Before leaving, we picked up a few goodies for the road. Pisgah Bakehouse is definitely worth the stop, and I'm glad we found it.

When you pay $6 for a small pastry, it feels a little bad when they don't say "thank you" or "how can I help you" or "what would you like" ... more than once I've been here and had the experience that I'm bothering the employee just by being there. Bought a cardamom bun today and while I love cardamom this was still an overly strong flavor. Lovely texture, though. I had a specialty croissant a while back when I was in the area and left with it. It was uncooked in the middle so I called to let them know (thinking they would want to pull the remaining ones). Whoever I spoke with was appropriately apologetic and told me next time I was there to tell the clerk that so and so wanted me to have a replacement on the house. A few months later I was in the area again and was met with such hostility and skepticism when I mentioned the "freebie" that I wished I'd never bothered. As for the bakes? Everything really does look good. The lunch menu looks great although I've never had anything. The coffee is nice and strong. Prices are high, but that's everywhere.

Usually we come around 10ish and there's a small wait or the place is just really packed (even outdoor seating). But today we stopped around 8:30 and there was only a couple of tables taken up. We were greeted with a smile right away and taken to a table. We were given 2 different menus. One containing the different breakfast and brunch options they offer and the second one with the coffees and alcoholic beverages. Once you look at the menu you see that there is a lot of the basic breakfast options you can find at other restaurants. But what also makes the menu different is that they offer latin breakfast and lunch items like huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Since it was so early I decided to go with the huevos rancheros since I've never had them here before. I also decided to go with the honey bear latte (iced) with oat milk as my drink for this morning. My latte was really good! It had hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. The oat milk mixed in perfectly making the latte have a nice creamy taste. Once my dish came out I was happy at the presentation of the plate. I ordered my eggs overhard and they came topped with salsa roja, queso fresco, and cilantro. All of this was placed on top of a fried tortilla and given to me with a side of home fries. Over all I did like the dish. I will say the salsa roja threw me off because I expected it to be a little more spicy, however it had a more citrus/lime taste to it. The home fries however were a 10/10 for me, I liked how crispy they were and how I didn't need to add more salt and pepper to them. Overall I really did enjoy my time this morning at Arabella's. Our server was super nice and attentive with us. The atmosphere is calming. Also it's nice to see the people of Hendersonville coming in and supporting this local business. If you're from the area or a tourist definitely check this place out. You wont be dissapointed.
