Checked out their dessert case. Lots of offerings, including baklava. Laura told me the strawberry cheesecake was excellent so I chose that over plain. The berries looked enormous! The order was quick, and I went on my way to my hotel to unpack this bag. Having a late dinner tonight was helpful with the food. The pastitsio was rich but still has good flavor with the balance of pasta, ground beef, bechamel sauce, and marinara. Hefty square and it was delicious. My veggies were the first to go. Corn was fresh and the beans were tasty but they were canned. No biggie, that's not a problem for me. The hush puppies were fried so they look like onion rings. Really delicious and also flavorful, the negative was that the side of tartar I ordered did not make it into the bag. That being said- they probably did me a big favor since that's just extra calories and not really needed with the hush puppies. For showing up around 7 PM and then getting to eat in my hotel about 30 minutes later is impressive. Great food, great service, and I will be back the next time I have work meetings in town! In "my opinion" and those of my three other friends and my husband this restaurant is about to go under (close). All of us noticed that the the waitress we had very recently, and the man that accepts your cash or credit card for the food that we ate, were not only unprofessional ,but rude , and the waitress was also sarcastic, judgmental, and a accuser of her interpretation of something that she had no business accusing me. I ordered the same thing as always? spaghetti,marinara sauce, salad bar. Only thing different is I didnot start on my salad until I was half way finished with my above food. She accused me of taking more than my one trip salad bar and then proceeded to tell the man possible manager who came over after I had already dumped in to go container , to let me know he was charging me more ! Everyone at table knew I hadn't taken more than one trip ! In the Bible it says that is a demonic spirit that accuses an innocent person. Never will we five people EVER go in here again!
