The locals hope you don't find out about the Corner Grill, because it's one of our little hidey-holes, like that special spot on the river where you always catch your limit. It's a country diner with good specials and banana pudding, and hands-down the best (and best priced) steaks you will find in Western North Carolina. Ribeyes and New York strips, my friend. It's always busy, and there are times you'll wait for a table; the waitresses are friendly and efficient, and by your 3rd or 4th visit they'll remember how you like your steak, and some of 'em will call you hon, and that's reason #342 we like living here in WNC. read more
