I'm a sucker for a tiny house, so when I saw these cute little vacation rentals, I was all about it! They are located along a main street, across from the Zion Canyon Hot Springs. It's the perfect location if you plan to visit the springs (which I also recommend). The space has everything you need to be comfortable and even prepare some small meals. It's lacking a dining table-you can either eat outside with the very small cocktail table or inside at the coffee table. There's a portable burner in place of a stove, which works ok for small things. There's a cool eco-friendly coffee maker. This area gets a ton of wind and is right off the highway, so it can be loud. The owners obviously anticipated this, since they provided earplugs for guests. There is extra bedding, but it's a thin blanket and in the winter months it can get a little chilly. The keyless door worked ok as long as you have one hand to pull the door handle tight and the other to punch in the code. Overall, it's a fun place to stay in a convenient location. The view of the canyon out back was my favorite part and watching the colors of the sunset was mesmerizing. read more

We had a great stay at the Dwellings! It has a wonderful proximity to Hurricane, Virgin, and La Verkin for you to run errands, get groceries, etc. Beautiful views, only 30 mins from the main entrance to Zion, and plenty of scenery while you drive around! We booked the "Amazing" view room. I also loved that there's a hike down to the. Virgin River that runs below the houses! The only two things I would say: 1. There was a built in cooktop pictured online. When we got there, it was only a plug-in single burner/hot plate, so just beware if you plan to cook a lot! 2. We booked our stay through the CapitalOne travel portal and used miles to pay for it. When we got there, on their end it showed up not being paid, so we never got an email with our check in information. This was of course not their fault, and we got it figured out, but just a warning for any CapitalOne cardholders, I would book this hotel through their website and not CapitalOne! Overall, we had a really great stay and I would definitely stay here again! read more

The website is deceiving. The rooms are run down. The shower was moldy and we wore our sandals in the shower so our feet didnt touch the moldy grout. There was a sewer grate right outside the front door that smelled horrible.This was different than the stinky smell of the hot springs. The canyon view is now of houses being built with a giant banner advertisement. We had a giant spider in our room. The pillows were rock hard and we had to go buy two pillows to sleep on while we were there. Upon check out, They will ask you to take out the trash and run the dishwasher even though you pay a room rate that includes cleaning. Next time we will be finding somewhere better to stay. read more

Super cute and had everything we needed. I loved the quick check in, they text a code at 4:00pm. Check out at 10:00am is a little early in my opinion. I am not sure if we were the only ones staying there because a few people might have arrived while we were sleeping. I would say it's a little overpriced for this time of the year. I do like how it's so pet friendly, we lost our dog in Oct so now we travel alone. It would be kind of nice to book a non pet friendly room since we don't have pets at the moment. Only reason I say this is because you can tell pets have stayed there, a little rip in the screen door and the rug is coming apart from a dog chewing perhaps?? Nothing against pets, I LOVE them. I'm just saying it would be a nice option to choose. I only have 2 complaints and they are not big ones. The water pressure was not good in the kitchen sink and shower. The TV was a bit confusing to work. Little things. I thought the dog tags were really cool...what a great idea! Overall we really enjoyed this place, the view is beautiful. read more

My wife and I celebrated our first night as a married couple here at the Dwellings after we got married at a local wedding venue a few miles down the road. We had one of our guests drop off some flowers, champagne and ice to the front desk and asked if they could decorate the room for us. Maria, went above and beyond setting up house #18. It was a page out of a fairy tail for my wife and I as we opened the double doors to a beautiful, clean suit with two conjoining hearts made out of rose pedals placed on the bed. The champagne was on ice with two glasses set next to it. We ended up falling asleep with the doors wide open listening to the river flowing below and watching a lighting storm blow past in the distance. Bob and Maria went the extra mile to make our night special. We cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to coming back to reminisce in the amazing memories we have at The Cliffside Dwellings. read more

YES, there are EV chargers INCLUDING Tesla charger here! THANK YOU for making my life easier! I stayed in #18 which is the most private unit with a spectacular view. The unit was extremely pet friendly with a enclosed gate area for my dogs to roam inside the patio area. The facility itself was very clean. Everything we needed was provided including kitchen stuff. It definitely felt like home with all the amenities. There's a charcoal grill available to use. Along with all the tools. Bring your grilling items and have a nice dinner here during sunset! The fridge is a good small size to fit all your stuff. Also has a freezer. Very convenient but I guess you should expect that since this is indeed an Airbnb. Lol The only downside I'd like to mention is the position of the ac machine was a little odd. The room didn't feel cool enough especially due to where the air was blowing. And also, the room could use a full length mirror. Only bathroom vanity mirror in the unit. Other than that, this is a great stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone who's visiting the area. read more

Visiting from SoCal and had 2 pups coming with us on this trip, so we booked on different website and decided this was a great fit. We booked Tuesday-Sunday. On that website we stated 2 adults, but our tiny home had an upstairs with 2 set of twin beds that we didn't need. We were assigned unit 10 which is the only one that has a blocked view, since there's a unit right below it (I'll attach picture) and the unit next to us seemed to be open for majority of the week. It was very clean tho! And it seems to always have staff working. They're super helpful and nice! But I don't think I saw the "Visiting Center" open once. There is a lot of parking. But it is on a Main Street and some nights there were loud vehicles passing by. The place gives you ear plugs and dog tags to put on your pups in case the WORST were to happen. But if you're coming during colder months I recommend bringing a WARM blanket! On the bed there is a sheet and a thin quilt. My husband probably loved it because I cuddled him all night for warmth. We left Saturday afternoon because it was getting colder and we had the option of leaving and camping out somewhere else since we brought our bus. This place is very pet friendly! And there is a trail that leads down right in between this property! There's old buildings down there and the walk back up is... you better stretch! There is a turtle sanctuary all the way in the back of this trail as well. You must cross the bridge tho and go about a half mile ish. All in all a pretty good place to stay. read more

I was amazed with the room. We stayed #2 pretty much only regular room with view, basic kitchen, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. Room is small but only 2 of us so good enough, but when we see the view!! Oh wow that's breathtaking. Waiting sunset and sunrise to take lots of pictures. Even opened the curtain so I can see the view when sleeping lol Very clean room, everything well thought, replacement of the furniture, landscape, color scheme but yet simple. They have great interior designer I bet. Definitely will come back. Only here for 1 night to relax. read more

The property offers keyless entry so we never had to interact with anyone during our stay. The Dwellings located close to many outdoor destinations. River Rock Pizza is right next door for a quick bite. Each rental is equipped with a small kitchenette if you'd rather make your own meals. My stay at The Dwellings was overall ok. I liked the idea of staying in a tiny house. The property is located 1/2 hour from Zion and in the town of La Verkin. I stayed in property number 4 which was a one bedroom. I don't know how long these houses have been here but some things are showing wear and tear. The couches were a bit dirty and look like they need to be replaced. I opened the couch to get and additional pillow since they're stored in the couch and there was a roach right on top of the pillow!! The bed wasn't very comfortable and was lumpy. I woke up with a sore back in the morning. The A/C only cooled the main kitchen/sleeping area of the house. The restroom does not have an A/C vent so it gets hotter in there than the rest of the house. The house was stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal and grill which was great and was well stocked with all the necessities you would need. The view from the back patio was awesome overlooking the virgin river and the mountains. There is a trail you can take down to the river to explore. Plenty of parking and close to a coffee shop/ restaurant. read more

I found this place while looking for a place near Zion Park. Well, look no further. It's just outside of the main park maybe about a 20 minute drive to the park. There's a cute coffee shop next door that's great. The place itself is amazing. Has all the amenities one would need to fully relax and unwind for a bit. Full size fridge was a plus! Bed was comfy. Even with me being allergic to pets and the place being pet friendly, I never would know if a pet was recently there. Everything was so clean and fresh!! I will be going back again!! read more

I cannot recommend The Dwellings enough!! The location is perfectly situated about 20 minutes away from Zion entrance but what is even more amazing about the location is that it is perched right on the edge of a canyon cut out by the Virgin River! The views were stunning from our dwelling, we were in the stand-alone dwelling right on the edge. On the property you have access to an incredible trail that walks along the virgin river where we saw some neat sights including the wreck-edge of an Oldsmobile, a water power house from the 30's, and the craziest rock formation that I'm not even sure how to describe. Oh and across the balcony was a massive snow covered mountain range!!! The room was modern and luxurious, very clean and refreshing to come home to after a full day in Zion. Comfy bed and a well stocked kitchen. My most favorite feature was the goodie bags! There were two drawstring backpacks, a couple of reusable shopping bags, koozies, reusable water-bottles, chapstick, and beanies! We used every single item, the chapstick and beanies saved us cause these were items we forgot to pack for our trip to Zion in March when it was still cold and dry! The dwelling was priced at a great deal considering the location, quality of the space, and added goodies! I can't wait to come back! read more

I have very good experience staying in Dwellings, it started with super friendly customer service when I booked, I was disappointed by the 3rd party booking website because they will not honor 20% AAA discount, so I gave Dwelling a call and they honor it right away, super friendly service, couldn't be happier, quick about replying all the questions I have in email or on the phone too. I have a baby traveling with us and worried that we may not bring enough items to prepare food for our baby, but they have literally almost everything you can think of from cutting board to hand blender!!! with dishwasher loaded with dish soap for you! I was amazed, it definitely made my trip easier without having to bring all those tools with me. A little complaint on the instant water heater, it would cut off randomly at times, the bed is more on the softer side and made some popping noise when I got off the bed, and slight road noise(but they provided you ear plug and it's really not their fault, but more on those loud motorist driving by at night), the back screen door to the backyard was off the rail, but none of those really enough to stop me from coming back and stay with them again! They were even nice enough to price match the lower price too when I asked them at the last minute, I will be coming back, thank you again Dwellings. Oh and by the way, BEAUTIFUL sunset view in the backyard too!!! There's a restaurant 100 feet away worth checking out during your stay too! read more
