If you are looking for somewhere to stay near Bryce Canyon and/or Zion, look no further. Water Canyon is AMAZING. Minimalistic, but includes all you need. Toiletries, kitchenette, wonderful AC and ceiling fan, patio, grill...the list goes on! And not to mention the VIEW!! Hosts are wonderful people! They are very accommodating and are very responsive. We can't wait to visit the beautiful winery on our next visit! You won't regret staying here.

This place was perfect for my boyfriend and I. we decided to visit Zion and needed a nice comfy place to stay. this resort was more than we could imagine! contactless check-in was perfect since we were traveling out of state. our room was spotless and super clean, the bed was comfortable and they had everything we needed.

Wow! Great little oasis in the AZ strip. New, clean, comfy, private, and close to E.O.T.W. microbrewery.

They have air conditioning which was so nice to come back to after a long day of hiking (we did Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon North rim).

It's an easy drive but yes a tiny bit bumpy. That only adds to the actual location. We actually really liked its remote nature. It's not in the hustle and bustle of town. Everyone at check in was so so kind. We loved our stay. We stayed in stargazer two and the mesh stargazing area is incredible. We laid out on it at night and could not get over what a cool experience that alone was. Decor is top notch. The privacy of each unit was actually incredibly comfortable. The ac is fantastic. Getting to stargazer 2 was easy but possibly challenging for those with mobility challenges in regards to stairs. The jacuzzi and fire pit were so fun. Oh and the smores kit was such a nice touch as well as the welcome basket. We travel a lot and this place has it dialed in. Truly. Cold waters in the fridge upon arrival - ahhhh. So what would I add - a wellness spa for massages, on site morning yoga, sound bathing, etc.... I might add a very modern pool or one that incorporates nature. Lastly I'd recommend a type of gnat spray provided to guests. At dawn and sunset they are incredibly active. Overall this place is nothing short of incredible and its founders should be very proud of what they have created. The effort in creating Open Sky is very much noticed. Sharing nature in this way is a huge gift and this place is truly something special!

I used to LOVE this place (Would tell EVERYONE about it), but ever since a mega corporation took…read moreover it's been pathetic at best. Bathrooms - always dirty, bar - horrid service, okay food and no liquor. IDs required and that's fine but a retired military ID is legit (retired military IIDs are valid, fix your ID system!) my drivers license expires before my military ID and my military ID got denied..... Wtf people? Season passes - hit or miss if they work. 2 out of the 3 years we've bought our season passes early they haven't worked,, and we had to go to the office to "fix the issue" There's no issue except this company who can't get their process straight. John NEVER had this issue...and I've been coming here since 2011...... Food? Don't get me started on the cafeteria food they serve now... The prior owner, John Grisainger at least had GOOD food, quality food being served. Not this cut rate, previously frozen, cafeteria food that's now "available" here. This place is sad, and I doubt John thought this company would turn this place into what it is now. Who in their right mind thought downgrading everything but upping the costfor everything was a good idea..... Oh, I know.... A corporation that DOESN'T care about its customers, that's who.. Do better. You're capable of it.

But the second day I had a free two hour lesson and since I was the only one in the class, it was like a private lesson the instructor, Riz, was excellent. It was far better than day one. I was able to progress in my snowboarding. She took me on the lift and coached me on the way down. We implemented some new techniques. I fell, of course, but I learned a lot later that day it started lightly snowing. I was able to sneak in one last run before the lifts closed. My family has always enjoyed Bryan Head ski resort - this time we also brought my sister-in-law's family and they were beginners and they had a blast!

One of the most beautiful and conveniently closest hotels to the entrance of Zion…read more I've stayed here twice now, and there's a specific room type I keep coming back to: the Riverside Grand View Bedroom Suite. At 500 sq. ft, it feels spacious and serene, with a sitting area over looking the river below, blackout drapes, soaking tub, seperate walk-in shower, pillow-top mattress, workplace, and a 55" TV that my man really appreciates. But the best part is the large private balcony with seating and a direct view of The Watchman, one of Zion's most iconic peaks. Sunrises and sunsets from here are epic. Your stay includes, wifi, parking, year-round access to the outdoor pools and hot tubs, fire pits, fitness center, bathrobes and slippers, ac/heat, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and fresh coffee each morning near the lobby. On-site you'll also find a restaurant by the name of Anthera, and a spa, both of which I recommend. With 53 rooms, the property doesn't feel like just another standard hotel. What truly sets it apart though, is what lies just behind it, the lush riverside gardens. Ending your day sitting by the river, listening to the water move past as your thoughts quiet and your whole body softens. In the morning expect to see a lot of deer grazing in the grass areas. It's genuinely spellbinding. If the restaurant on property doesn't interest you there are other walkable options nearby and this property does not allow pets. Breakfast is available for an additional fee.
