Very pleasantly surprised! I had driven by here over the last few months, peaking in seeing remodeling going on, but couldn't imagine it was really my scene. The other night I thought "what the hell" and stopped in. Loved it! The inside I would say is modern in decor. There is a computerized juke box, a pool table, pin ball machine, plus a few others I didn't pay close attention to. Staff here were warm and welcoming. They offer numerous local beers and liquors, which our bartender had great suggestions. Friday and Saturday have kareoke in the evenings, but we were here on a Monday... and I would describe it as "chill." Definitely glad I stopped and will be back.

Dive bar is putting it nicely...if you're just here for the booze than I guess they've got that covered.

The bar tenders are rude and the kj is incompetent at best, it is possibly one of the worst places I have visited in Portland

Small burgers so I recommend you get two burgers and fries. It's a neighbourhood bar so it's frequented by locals and people from the sorrounding neighbourhoods but it's not a very diverse crowd. Caucasian-dominant. I got the punk-vibe from both female bartenders and it seems to be a spot for alot of service workers to hang out. Interesting decor inside. I would not mind coming back but that's only because of the cheap drinks! It opens at 4pm every day and you can find the hours on google.

When Queen of Hearts changed over to Cadigan's Corner, the bikes motored on, but the characters remained. I only went one time, but the experience was intense and memorable, and included a server with a spirit-collecting sword, and a sign that said: "We are not responsible for women left unattended." Among other highlights. So when Old Gilbert took over the spot, I had small hopes, but one leery eye on the door. I've been in a good number of times now, and in comparison to its predecessors, it's fantastic. One generally feels pretty safe, and the flair for the dramatic is low. All in all, it's pretty bare bones. I'm waiting for it to fully develop its personality, but for now its theme to me is: cheap thrills, no frills.

After having a haircut walked by The Heritage Pub and decided to come in and have a couple beers. The female bartender, so kindly helped me with a beer. I paid with cash, that was great. After finishing my beer I thought I should have one more and, at the same time, playing some Kino gambling game. I filled out my form numbers: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 79, 78 and 77. 10 $1 dollar numbers, 10 drawings and $1 multipliers. Total: $20 cost, which must be payed in cash. I order a second beer, sat down on my stool and follow the Kino's drawings. My games star with the ****49 game and finish with the 58. I follow them carefully. The first & second draws, non of my numbers were picked, which means I get $5 each, to a total of $10. Another draw in between allows me to win $2. The very last draw, in which I got 6 numbers grants me $10. The total of my playing: $22. I'm excited I get back more of my $20 dollars spent here. I go to the bar to cash out. The bartender helping me with my two beers and the Keno purchase wasn't there, but the gentleman helping her attended me. I give him my ticket and he comes back to me with great news: "You won $8" "What?" It was my only thought. That's not right and he knows so. I left the place. I am not in the mood for such a petty, little change. I am fine. Nevertheless, nowadays, we should be extremely aware that everywhere we're been seen and recorded.
