The outside is deceiving. When you walk inside it's such a chill vibe and aesthetic. Clean and elevated styling for what seems like a whole in the wall. I went at a rather off time in the middle of the day after finishing classes. The menu is extremely vegan friendly more so than anything else, but everyone can enjoy something. The fries were perfectly cooked not greasy or stale tasting, the sauce they served it with was very good and creamy. The wrap was fresh and the chkn inside was delish, kale was fresh and crisp. The price was just right $12. I did not have any drinks but they had alcoholic slushies (duh) and they looked pretty appetizing. The bartender was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

So a group of 4 of us went to Thunderbird on a Saturday evening for dinner and drinks. The inside was low lighting, music playing, lots of seating. We sat outside where there were heaters on timers so it never got uncomfortably warm and didn't stay too cold for long. Now for my favorite part, the food! You order your food and drinks at the bar and a server will bring it to your table. I ordered the Brussels Bowl which had kale, rice, BBQ tofu, and brussel sprouts. It was a beautiful bowl full of great flavor. My husband ordered the TBird Vegan Philly made with impossible crumbles. It looked really good and he enjoyed it. We also ordered the Smash Impossible Sliders - grilled onions, thunder sauce and vegan cheddar. The non vegan items that were ordered: Smoke Stack Burger Foster Rd. Burger Onion Rings with Srirancha I recommend for anyone looking for a bar with meat and veggie options. Perfect place to bring friends or a date!

Always enjoy stopping here for drinks, but this was my first time eating. Chicken Caesar wrap, standard food item right, but damnnnn it was delicious! The dressing tasted homemade and the chicken was juicy and not overcooked. Will definitely eat here again.

fun and cozy bar with a few activities to stay entertained. there's a ton of seating including indoor and outdoor. drinks are fairly priced. i got the city of roses which tasted good except i did not taste the rose flavor at all

Their food is so good and the prices are really reasonable. They have so many vegan options and a few that are not vegan. Their sauces are handmade and delicious! Whenever I'm in their the staff that drop your food off are so nice and always ask if you need anything else. They have a beautiful space with lots of plants and the option for outdoor seating. Although parking in the neighborhood is a little tough, it's worth the short walk for the great food and overall vibe!

I've been here a few times and love this place! I'm familiar with their bar group and always know I'll have tasty food and solid drink options especially for a good dry cider. The space is roaming with a broad range of seating options. Don't be intimidated by parking, there's lots of parking behind it!

I have the best daughter-in-law in the world (actually two of them). Amy can sniff out a new restaurant like nobody's business. And she hit big-time on this one. We ate on the patio, which is beautiful, and my 3 year old niece had the time of her life in the bamboo 'forest' looking for pandas and koalas. We had two of the most charming women as servers, but I wrote down their names on the merchant-copy of the receipt, so I can't tell you who they were. As stated in the other reviews, this is a foodie's ideal. I you are going to order the hamburger, which is good, order something green for the table with it. If you want medium-rare, order rare. They change the menu alot, so I hope this is still be on it when you go. For dessert, "The Floating Island". Start with cream anglaise, then add green strawberries and rhubarb around the edges (totally counter intuitive for me, but worked perfectly!) and in the middle is a rectangle of meringue (the best I have ever had in my life) and a spoonful of lime granite to top it off. Spectacular! Go for it and Go !!!

That is, until you turn your attention to the wedge of a jojo next to that beautiful wet-tshirt-contest winner. If you canceled the lease on Playdate PDX and are reading this, don't steal my idea, you prick. Anyway, I digress. Potato jojo wedge. Back to it. I brought home some as leftovers three months ago and my eight year old is still tunneling through them like she's a mole dropped into some f-ed version of Candy Land. Look, I know the fine bartenders here promise chicken and jojos the same way cable promises service: it'll arrive somewhere between the hours of 6 and 10:00 PM. But sit your ass in the chair, get a PBR and wait. Because, much like the bygone era of cable, when the boob shows up uncensored, late at night, and wrapped seductively in paper and BBQ sauce (don't judge me! You tuned in too!), you weren't thinking of the guy with the extra long butt crack and ill fitting button up. Oh no, my friend, you were thinking about the sauce. BBQ, ranch, sweet chili, . . . or ketchup (you immature shit).

Dishes can be shared here, and our server suggested a few specialties for us to try. They also have a tasting menu but we opted for picking our own. We started with grilled oysters that were topped with kimchi butter and garlic. It was incredibly flavorful and perfectly grilled. We had the Little Gems salad, which was refreshing with the greens, radish, and green goddess sauce. The hamachi crudo is their specialty. The raw fish came with grilled pineapple and a bold and pungent fish sauce that meshed all the ingredients together cohesively for one sweet and savory dish! Absolutely recommend it! The lobster roll was absolutely delicious with bread that holds the flavors together. Cooked well and no notes here! The start of the evening was absolutely the cedar plank whole branzino. Wow, I have never been more impressed with a fish. Perfectly cooked with juicy, smoked flavors. 12/10 recommend! For dessert, we ordered an earl grey tea ice cream with blackberry, and peach sorbet. Both refreshing!

We came here because I heard they have a great seafood menu and my kids recently started enjoying oysters and other shellfish that used to be "gross". We got here about 15 minutes to opening on a Friday night and there was already a line. We were fortunate to still get a spot outside which worked out because it wasn't too hot and the outdoor space is much more spread out than inside. We ordered a dozen oysters to start. Love their various droppers with infused mignottes and hot sauces. Really made it fun to try out different combos. We also got the cold smoked mussels, the hamachi crudo, grilled oysters, lobster roll, rockfish, and the little gem salad. In order of least favorite to favorite, the little gem salad was good but just not that memorable or spetqcular the way the other dishes were. Next, the grilled oysters were flavorful with the garlic and lime but I wished there was a little more kimchi flavor and overall more sauce given the size of the oysters (they were huge!). The lobster roll was good and I appreciated the different take on a lobster roll but my favorite lobster rolls that really accentuate the lobster flavor and this masked it a little. The hamachi crudo was a surprise. It's a dish you see a lot and I was a little worried about how the pineapple might overtake the rest of the flavors but that didn't happen. The balance between sweet, savory, sour, and crunch from the peanuts was perfect and every bite was really enjoyable. Finally, my favorite was the cold smoked mussels. You never know how fish sauce and tom kha might overwhelm everything but again, their chef understands flavor balance really well. You could taste all the flavors, the smokiness, the slight bitter and sour umami flavors and slight sweetness to round it out. It was outstanding and highly recommend. They also have great cocktails that go well with their dishes. Really enjoyed the experience here and will definitely come back.

I chose the Saville Painkiller Cobbler which was very similar to Piña Colada with Ube. The drink was such a pretty purple shade, dusted with purple sweet potato/taro powder, and served in a Pineapple shaped glass - so aesthetically pleasing and very easy on the palate! My husband got the Pandan Old Fashioned which was very delicious as well - silky, sweet, boozy with a strong Pandan forward profile. For snacks, we got the Shrimp Chips and the Whipped Ricotta with Soppressata that comes with a generous portion of 4 slices of Rustic bread. The shrimp chips were humongous and so light, airy and crispy with a delicate shrimp flavor. The presentation on the whipped ricotta was so beautiful, and it tasted so good with the Calabrian chili and Soppressata!
