This place is a great place to stop on a drive eat toward Raleigh. Barely off the highway yet on Main Street in Lexington. They play relaxing Hispanic music. It's kept very clean and is very welcoming. This place checks all the boxes for service, setting and food. One of my favorite NC discoveries. This is my second time stopping for lunch. I ordered the Quesabirria with refried beans with a Jarritos this trip. Waiting patiently on the couch by the door. Looking forward to devouring this plate of food..... Outstanding meal! Meal looked exactly like the picture on the menu board. 3 sauces for dipping and recommend the refried beans as an add on for flavor and to balance out the meal. The Eatery at the Blend is a welcome edition to downtown Lexington! The menu had a lot of items you wouldn't find at a typical Mexican restaurant. I ordered the Quesabirria and a Mexican Coke. Man was it delicious! I loved broth it came with to dip it in as well as the sauce. It was full of flavor without being too salty. Definitely recommended! The restaurant itself was nicely decorated and had a modern feel to it. I think it would make a great lunch date. The hostess who took my order was very nice and friendly. We were in Lexington and my wife found this eatery (literally) on Yelp. We stopped in to check it out and have dinner. The Yelp entry said it was American food, but it's actually Mexican. I sent a message to Yelp to correct that. The menu is not like a normal Mexican restaurant. They have mostly taco and burrito-type dishes. My wife had quesa birrias and I had a big burrito. Both of our meals were wonderful. Next time I'll do the custom build and not add rice and get an additional helping of meat instead. Here's the big thing - we watched them make our tortillas from scratch! One lady was making balls of the fresh dough she had in a bowl. Another lady was taking them and putting them into a tortilla press, then putting them on the griddle before they were used to wrap our delicious meals. My wife had a Top Chico and I had a bottle of Modelo. Both of our drinks were icy cold. The restaurant was nice, clean, and open. We sat at a bar looking out the front window. The stools and bar were the perfect height. The employees were all super friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. We will be eating again here for sure and I highly recommend going here. read more

Found this joint while passing through Lexington. Located on Main St it was the only place open on Labor Day. Lucky for us it was. Super cool Mexican joint that's unlike your typical Mexican restaurant. Smaller menu that focused on more specialized dishes. I had the steak sandwich and it was incredible. Cool layout to the restaurant. Seems like a fun place to grab a drink on a Friday night. Definitely recommend. read more

My husband and I were in Lexington when we decided to have dinner in town. It was close to where we were, so we both agreed to dine here. Glad that we're able to park on the street just a few paces from the door. Inside's clean and the decor gives a cool industrial vibe. The tin ceiling caught my attention, too. You order at the counter and sit wherever you want. I ordered quesa birrias. It's my present addiction! Lol The order comes with 4 tacos. In other places, it usually comes with 2 to 3. So, this girl's happy about that. Each taco also has generous amount of flavorful meat and cheese. Oh, they also use fresh farm ingredients and make everything in house including the tortillas. We were able to watch a couple of ladies make them. Everyone of the staff have smiling faces. I recommend to give them a try! read more

Stumbled upon this place on none other than.. yelp! Glad we did. It is the most authentic Mexican food we have had since moving back to NC. I got the Birria Tacos and my husband had the carne asada. Both were very delicious! Fast, pleasant service! I really liked the decor, cute neon signs and exposed brick. Listed our food above, but you can also make your own bowl, quesadilla, nachos and more. Don't get scared off by the simplistic entry into the establishment because the food is primo! I had the grilled chicken with pinto beans and rice And salad. Was tender and very tasty. My friend and I ate at The Eatery in Lexington and it was fantastic! You order and pay at the counter, then they bring the food to you. WARNING: it's hard to stay focused on ordering because you can see them cooking everything to order and they were making fresh tortillas - what a yummy difference! The Quesabirria Tacos were out of this world! Crispy shell, stuffed with tender meat, grilled onions, fresh cilantro and lots of mozzarella cheese. You get a side of broth, tomatillo sauce and some kind of spicy sauce that was a great compliment to everything. My friend got the grilled chicken burrito. It was huge and held rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, pico and sour cream. She loved it! We will definitely go back!! read more

I've been here 3 times so far only because I live in King BUT the food (burritos especially) are sooo good, I drove 45 minutes there and back today to get them for me and my boyfriend. It's the type of place you crave all the time, and the man who runs the front desk is always so nice, today he threw in chips with salsa and queso just out of kindness for us. My family really wanted to visit this place and I've seen it on tik tok. It's big nice and clean and they were playing good music . They don't have a menu you can look at or prices listed for drinks sides etc. It's very pricey in comparison to other Mexican restaurants but the quesabirrias are worth it. Great looking spot. Friendly people. Food ok. Our bowls were pretty sparse. One was ordered with chips as the base with queso. The chips were buried under lettuce, and they forgot the queso. When it was provided, it was kinda thin and not very warm. The Quesabirria was ok, needed more flavor and less grease on the outside. They make their own tortillas, which are good. First full day of opening and the crowd was ready for something new and different in little Lexington. The staff handled the hectic crowd perfectly! I came in the middle of lunch rush, as everyone else was just as excited to check out this hot spot, The Eatery. Took a little time getting to the food bar to place my order, but it was understandable. I ordered the white cilantro rice bowl; all sorts of toppings to add. Several different proteins to choose from as well. Toppings were fresh and the salsa had the best flavor. Placing your order has the same concept as a Chipotle or Qdoba restaurant. A little surprised and ashamed at myself for not reviewing The Eatery The Blend yet. Located right on Main Street, it is super convenient and one of my favorite places to grab lunch in Lexington. Certainly similar to a Moe's/Barberitos type concept, but with their slight variations on things. I have always had great experiences with the staff over a long period of time and when I am ready to get out of my work from home office, there are many times I run over to The Eatery The Blend to grab a burrito and take a seat in the front window with a view of Main Street! We were looking for something different and thought we'd try this place. The food is fresh and has a good flavor. We both got the "made to order" chicken quesadillas. They were quite thin and the ingredients, especially the meat, was sparse. They charge extra for chips and salsa so we weren't used to that especially in the south. It was kinda pricey but comparable to today's prices. Salsarita's is just as good and a better value, in our opinion. It's pretty loud as well, more like a bar feel. read more

I popped in here to check it out and was thinking I'd probably order a bowl or something, but once I saw that quesabirria was on the menu, my mind sent me in that direction. Fantastic local Chipotle style fast casual Mexican place. A majority of the ingredients are locally sourced. All of the proteins we're well prepared and flavorfully seasoned. Portions we're very generous for the price. All of the toppings appeared to be freshly made in house and complemented the protein choices very well. This place is basically Chipotle taken up a notch and improved with the obvious attention to everything that comes with a local joint. Will be back any time I'm around Lexington! read more

This place is going down hill. When it first opened I thought it was great, exciting, something Lexington needed badly. Fast forward to now. Everything looks lazily prepared, flavor is not there, and way overpriced for what you get. A chicken bowl with no extras add a drink almost $14. Last two times I've been in the protein is dry. Didn't have their beef besides ground beef. Overall it just looks like some effort has been lost somewhere.
