First time here in New Year's Eve. Staff wasn't amused they were working but the service and food were excellent anyways and appreciated they were open. Had the first bowl, nice mix of spice and flavor. Chips and salsa were never ending and service was prompt. Wife tried the ACS which is an ACP - good flavor. This place is clean and well run and the manager was out on the floor keeping check on the dining room and customers. We will be back. Price is right here as well - $90 for 6 with tip. read more

I was in Lexington running an errand and needed to grab something to eat. Stopping at the Guadalajara Grill was more a case of opportunity since it was right off of highway 64. The 3 1/2 star average rating didn't give me high hopes but it turned out to be a good choice. This is your average Mexican restaurant. You will find about the same things on the menu here as other similar locations. There is bar seating in the back. They have margaritas and other adult drinks both frozen and on the rocks. The Blue Margarita was pretty damn good. Now on to the food. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. Chicken soup and Polo Poblano are both excellent. I left very impressed with the food. This place also takes Apple Pay, along with cards and cash. read more

Check your ticket because ours said dine in which we only picked up and they added a tip which was more than i would have left! Try to support local but this one is off the list! Service was exceptional, everyone was so kind and willing to help. So we got sat, ordered and waited over an hour to get our food... I'm willing to wait but what was brought to me was the most bland food I have ever put in my mouth. I got the marinated chicken breast with veggies, add onions and was covered in cheeses. When I tell you there was ZERO seasoning on any of it.. I couldn't even eat it. They were so kind offered to remake and take off the bill. I didn't want to have it remade I was just over it at that point. My partner got the street tacos which also lacked every bit of flavor it should have had.. a little salt and pepper goes a long way sometimes. read more

First time coming here and the salsa was the first thing I enjoyed. It had more flavor than the average restaurants around here. We also tried the cheese dip finding it average but still good. I ordered the lunch special number 1; half a chimi changa with shredded chicken, fried, with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, and rice. Reasonable price since it was only $7.25 ($6.25 at lunch time). The dish was good overall but I ended up not caring for the chicken, it was just too dry in my opinion. My friend ordered the cheese and Grilled chicken nachos which were good. We will end up coming back but I'd say it's average Mexican place. Decent size restaurant so it can accommodate plenty of people and it has a full bar in the back. I walked in and no one was there to greet me. I stood there for a good 3 minutes or so before I even saw someone. They weren't too busy so I know they weren't distracted. A woman sat me and then a guy came to take my drink order. He seemed to be in a rush..maybe he was the cook and waiter? (just a joke!) Not too sure what he had on his mind because he kept looking around like he was paranoid when I was ordering so I felt like a burden to him. But overall the food was good!! Yeah this is not the place for good Mexican food or mundane Mexican food. Steer clear of Guadalajara. Nothing here was in anyway close to fair. Customer service was non existent. We have tried Guadalajara Grill twice now and the food is good. The first time we had ACP and vegetables with rice and cheese dip. The second time we had enchiladas and a vegetarian combination. The food is your average Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are ok but a little pricey so we start to draft beer. They have several varieties of both domestic and import such as Dos XX. It is super close to where we live so we might be back but we wouldn't go out of our way to eat here again. The one great thing is that even on a Friday night around 7:30 we got in and got a table immediately the restaurant is rather large so they can accommodate the guest for the area that we are in. read more

My order was completely wrong. Ordered a California burrito and asked for no guacamole, pico,lettuce, OR sour cream, they put ALL of this on my food, 12 dollars wasted for something I can't eat. It sounds like I'm being dramatic but this isn't the only time my food has been wrong once picked up. I am not happy with the service and if ordering out I would not recommend going here. This restaurant is close to our house and we had not tried it before a few months ago. We fell in love. The prices are great and we have yet to have a bad meal. We prefer this over the other two Mexican restaurants in town. The service is always amazing and we can get a table, eat, pay and be back out in about an hour. read more

Ordered the shrimp fajitas, they had absolutely no flavor. The shrimp by itself wasn't even good, looked like it was made from a bag of frozen, precooked shrimp. The manager is confused as to what a chalupa and a tostada is. Beware when ordering, if you want a chalupa it will be a flat corn tortilla with beans, lettuce and cheese. The tostadas are the same but served with meat. Our waiter was very pleasant and was also confused as to why the manager was stating that what I ordered was correct. Even showed the manager what google showed was the difference. He manager stated that was the way Taco Bell makes their chalupa and tostadas. ?!?!? Very poor food, today. read more
