Miss worded earlier review - should have said - "you do not need to buy food to enjoy a cold cocktail at The Office".

5-Star Review: Spiritual Speakeasy - A Hidden Gem Cocktail Parlor in Downtown St. George…read moreIf you're in St. George and craving a night out that feels worlds away from the typical Utah bar scene, Spiritual Speakeasy (2 W St. George Blvd #5, right at Ancestor Square) is an absolute must. It's not just another spot--it's a true speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with that perfect moody, intimate Prohibition-era vibe. Think dim lighting, plush vintage settees and ornate seating that feels like stepping into a gothic 1800s parlor, gilded mirrors, stone crosses, and an electric yet cozy energy that's ideal for date night, a special occasion, or just unwinding with friends. Spiritual Speakeasy Bar (2026) - All You MUST Know Before You Go (with Reviews) The cocktails here are next-level--award-winning (they've taken Best Bar in Southern Utah multiple times, and it shows). I went with the Smoked Old Fashioned (beautifully balanced, smoky perfection with premium spirits) and the Spicy Dead Lady (a creative, flavorful kick that's become a favorite). They also do standouts like Espresso Martini, Pornstar Martini, Skull Chapel, and Holy Grail, all crafted with top-shelf ingredients including Utah's own High West whiskeys. The bartenders are true mixologists--super knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to chat about the spirits or customize something just for you. Spiritual Speakeasy - St. George, UT | joe coffee It's open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (or 2 AM some nights), with live DJs on weekends adding to the lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's intimate (can feel a bit cozy/crowded when busy), and the music can get loud, but that's part of the electric speakeasy charm. Service is attentive, though it can slow down on peak nights--totally worth it. In a town not exactly known for wild nightlife, this place punches way above its weight. Sophisticated, fun, and unexpectedly upscale. We've already made it our go-to whenever we're in St. George. If you love craft cocktails and a unique vibe, hunt it down--you won't regret it. Highly recommended! (Pro tip: Look for the hidden entrance vibe--they make it feel like a real discovery.)

We were able to be seated without an issue, they just opened around the time we came in. The ambiance was cool & different & the secret door was a cool touch. Drinks were great. Loved the variety they offered. I took a star off because the guy who checked our IDs in the front didn't tell us it was open seating, so we just stood there waiting to be helped not knowing what to do if we can sit anywhere , or needed to wait. The bartender didn't stop to welcome us , or let us know it was open seating. We aren't locals, nor have we been before, so standing there without any direction was kind of not welcoming. Overall, it was a cool vibe, drinks were good, however not sure if I would return when I do come into town.

Our only complaint, and the reason I didn't give 5 stars was the service was SO SLOW. We waited about 20 minutes to get seated, totally understandable, but once we were seated it was about 15 minutes before we saw our waitress, then another 20 minutes before they brought our drinks(we ordered food the same time we ordered drinks). Once food came we saw her one time in the middle and then didn't see her again for another 30 minutes. We ordered desserts, waited about 15 minutes for those and didn't get one of our desserts delivered. So it was a rough service experience. The food was really good and the outside patio was great seating! We will come back but hopefully have better service!

My husband thinks the steak (locally raised) is one of the best steaks he's ever had. He also enjoyed their burgers. The tamarind glazed salmon and risotto dish, salads and mashed potatoes were my favorite, but truly, everything brought to the table was high-quality and delicious. Including the dessert (key lime pie and crème brûlée). Our server, Whitney, was wonderful. She is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu and potential adjustments (made recommendations that accommodated my gluten-free diet). She was a real joy and made the dining experience all the more special. We will definitely be back!

In the bar side, the waitresses are inattentive...and like they are in a hurry and when you flag them down to order or ask for something they act annoyed. To add insult to injury...the food is low quality tastes like they pulled out of the freezer to heat up a pre-made meal...then they literally just toss it in your table and walk off... It's really bad...and it's so sad that they are bad because they are in a location where I think a lot of people would come to if they could get their act together.

Our first stop heading north we tried calling repeatedly to order but nobody answered the phone. We told them of our dilemma when I had to walk into a very local's bar to order. We decided on the very average chicken fettuccine Alfredo and a house entree salad. On the way back south we stopped in the hotel again, but drove around a bit beforehand. We had the dog and cat with us so the short walk across the parking area had us ordering here again. This time we ordered the, again very average, chicken Marsala, some decent onion rings and a child's small cheese pizza. Again, not much excitement here except the fact that I had returned to our room without any utensils. I was assured they were in the bag as it was dropped off to me while I sat and waited (already 20 minutes) an extra 10 minutes for my meal to be prepared. While I waited I paid and I asked the service person to please bring it out to me when complete, and to please ensure their is utensils, ketchup and ranch dressing. I didn't check the bag as I left because I had to pee. When the wife opened the bag, there was one 2oz ranch, 23 ketchup packs and "NO UTENSILS!!!" I heard that while in the bathroom. The wife stormed out of the room and had someone's a** in the restaurant portion of the establishment. That's my babe. She was pissed. Perhaps ensuring staff pays closer attention to the non-local patrons from the hotel next door, since we are the ones writing the reviews. Perhaps have someone tending to the greeting stand inside the front door to aid in getting things consistently correct from the bar or the dining room. I guess this is the place to be if you are a local, because the service is obviously not the same for the travelers passing through. Really, to-go orders should all be given utensils, regardless of the order. Dicks

I could wax nostalgic about snowball skates, 90's boy bands and the snack counter for hours. So when I stumbled across this skating rink, I was hoping it would bring back some memories. Sadly, this place was super small compared to what I had grown up with. Not that it's a bad thing, but it felt crowded and overrun with children and the seating area is so close to the skating area that there's not really anywhere to go to escape the action. In addition to the skating rink, there are other things you can do-basketball courts, air hockey, snack shop...but it's a little tricky to navigate. It wasn't clear at the front door where to go to check in for anything other than skating. I suppose if you come here regularly you know where to go. But for a first time visitor, I felt a little lost. I think the only reason I would return was if I was coming for a specific activity with someone who knew where to go and how to navigate around. When we arrived we were greeted by the nicest boy named Nash who got us our skates and walked us through the waiver, he even went an extra mile help find us some skates small enough for my almost two year old son. The rink itself isn't very big but if you guy during a slower time then it's plenty big for small little families to skate with their kids while they figure it out. We will definitely be back when we pass through St George again.

The cop reviewed the footage, and was told by staff that I said not to remove the guy who just assaulted me out of the bar. NEVER SAID THAT. Meanwhile there is footage of me being assaulted. Me leaving because of the assault. And the man still inside the establishment. Jordan chased me out to my car where we started yelling at each other because I told him no one is doing their job. The one job to protect patrons. He ended up telling me to go fuck myself when I told him I'd never be back to the bar ever again because of this sexual assault and their failure to do anything about it. At the end of the day it's my word against the bars. I'm glad there is surveillance of the assault and failure by staff to do anything about it. I will be filing a formal complaint against the bar and pressing charges against the man I SUPPOSEDLY didn't want kicked out.
