Beware of representation of color.... The description of the…read moreitem I purchased clearly stated "Crisp White" long sleeve blouse. Not only did the verbal description state "Crisp White", but the photograph posted to illustrate the item I was purchasing, showed a photo of a WHITE blouse. The item that was shipped to me was without question, a yellowish cream color, anything but white. When I shipped it back to them, I had apparently missed the return window, and they refused to accept the return, and issue a refund. The only way I would be made anywhere close to "whole" financially, was to reluctantly pay them the $8.17 they were charging me for ground shipping, for shipping the cream colored blouse back to me. (One thing to note...the shipping charge that paid when I purchased the blouse was $7.82. But for some reason, to ship the exact same items back to me they are charging me $8.17.) Additionally, I had to pay to ship the return back to them..... They FORCED me to keep the blouse that they misrepresented, in order for me to keep from losing the entire $95.12 purchase price plus the return shipping I paid. I felt like I was being cornered into paying a bounty for the return of an item that wasn't even accurately represented. Now it will be shipped back to me and I will be receiving a blouse that I don't want, and that I had to pay an extra $8.17 for!!!! And I still don't have a crisp white blouse that I need for my staple wardrobe. REALLY WRONG!!

There is history all over the walls, and you can see this is a beloved family run institution. That immediately made me feel good. Everyone in the store is also extremely friendly and helpful, the service is top notch. I had signed up for an appointment for a fitting, and I had a very specific suit color in mind (dark hunter green). I knew this wasn't the most common color for a suit, and I was a little nervous because I've never been through the tailoring experience before. Matt came over and walked me through everything, he helped me pick out not only the suit that is perfect for what I was looking for but he also helped me find a shirt, tie, belt and shoes. He was with me every step of the way. My suit had to be ordered and altered since it's not a common off the rack color, the team at Penner's kept in touch with me the whole time. I never had any doubt that I was in good hands, and any questions I had were answered fully. The price for everything was also extremely fair in my opinion. I fully endorse Penner's if you're looking for suits, clothes, shoes or anything else wearable. There's a big selection, and it's not just suits they also have just about anything for men's wear. A great selection, and a family owned business. I feel very fortunate to have Penner's in town and I will be back!

What I experienced today was just more decline in an already mess of a store. Packed clothing racks, with little in the right place, and clothes on the floor, purses piled on top of purses, and in the wrong areas. The dressing room is still dark and dingy. Once again, the women's plus area is impossible to shop in due to a total lack of organization. The Kerrville Belk has become one of the worst stores I have ever been in. Nothing changes for the better in this store. If anything, it continues to deteriorate. Even the once organized men's department is now in shambles. Belk used to be the go to department store in Kerrville, but no longer. Now it's just a dump. I have reached out to corporate more than once, and get the same reply.
