I got my hair done by Brandi. I hadn't had a real haircut in years so I was very excited to get a nice cut. I was so disappointed. She was rushed and made me feel like an inconvenience. She didn't wash my hair or even wet it before cutting it. It looked jagged and terrible in the end. She started by putting it in two pigtails and chopping off length. It took maybe 20 minutes. I've never experienced anything like it in my life. I went home and cried. My boyfriend tried to fix it as best he could. Burnt orange crows nest! I asked for a chocolate hair color. And a layered cut, my hair was down to my shoulders. Now... Top too long, Left side 3 inches longer than the right. Front sides of hair cut right under ears, with a huge 4 inch drop to back of hair this is my layered look. Really can't even explain it it's a disaster it's going to take me six months to grow it back out! Elite this is anything but, Think complete opposite! From the location, decor, furnishings, to the services rendered. Walking in from the back parking lot, should have been my first clue. Tie-dye window cover. As you walk in, you will notice a ripped up & torn old couch that should've been tossed years ago. The whole salon is a patchwork of different woodwork's and goodwill items. Get the picture? I should've read the reviews first!! "G Anna D" review rings true... Total whack job mess!! I bought the haircut and color for $36.00 With highlights additional $25.00 + $5.00 I asked for chocolate brown, with burgundy Highlights. What I ended up with was Burnt orange!!! All over ! She left the color in over 2 X longer then she should have while she Cut three other people's hair. This seems to be her SOP. (Standard operating procedure) No joke appointment was at three 3:00 I got out at five 5:05 it took her 10 to 15 minutes to cut my hair, I was in color or in the sink the rest of the time! And speaking of sink, it was 54° outside and very windy she had me right next to the door which was 2 feet away with my wet head in the sink. She said "give it 10 minutes" over 20 minutes later i'm still in the sink! I'm sick from a cold now from sitting in the chair with a wet head. Needless to say I will not be going back, not even for redo or a fix! I'll redo the color myself chocolate brown. Which I buy at Sally's Beauty Supply LOREAL's Prefernce MegaBrowns "Chocolate" With 20 developer. Love this color and it always looks great! So I can honestly say an amateur CAN do BETTER! By the way it takes 25 minutes! Not an hour and a half. And my hair doesn't come out feeling like straw and burnt. 4/26/16 My husband looks like somebody put a bowl on his head and cut around it! The left a jagged V for good Measure. With so many bad reviews concerning lisa's haircutting abilities I do not understand why it is still happening. This may not be the career for her. Does the owner of the shop or management even care about their customers? Do not have Lisa cut your hair!! Now I thought how hard can it be to do A decent men's hair cut well.... read more

I found her through Groupon and am completely excited to work with her in the future. She did an excellent job cutting my hair and coloring it how I wanted. Her prices are reasonable and she does quality work. I really appreciated how professional she was and how quick the appointment went. I was able to get in and get my hair styled exactly how I wanted and get out the door. Bought a Groupon for waxing with Lisa. She was not timely, not welcoming, and made me feel uncomfortable. Her conversation during what should be a pampering session was inappropriate and vulgar at times. I've been waxed by other ladies over the last 4 years and I can say she was my worst experience. I got a groupon, and I was very excited. Since it had been over three years since I got to get my hair professionally cut and colored. I arrived on time and they got me in. She was nice but didn't really listen to me. I said no gold or red. I just want a rich brown. She said there was no getting around that. I also want a a line but wanted not much length off the front. Well she ended up cutting someone's else's hair and waxing someone's else's eyebrows while on my appt. time. I ended up with an hair cut that was not what I wanted. A color that was brassy gold brown, and I was late to a family function. So I had to the same night go get brown coloring to cover up the brass gold. I am so pleased with this hair salon. Sheri, the owner cuts my hair and always does a great job, just the way I like it. I can always get an appointment and she has great prices. I love love love Lisa! Going from long hair to short is no simple decision especially when there is lots of curls involved. I walked in and said "lop it all off!" She didn't try to discourage me at all. Just looked at the photo and went to work. She told me how to keep the ends from getting dry from the pool and the best way to maintain the health of my curls. She was funny and attentive and explained exactly what she was doing as she was doing it. I have gone to her for a wax and will go back to her for cuts from now on. And the lady working out front gave me a sample of some conditioner for me as well. These girls know what they are doing and will tell you how to maintain what they do. Love them all. read more

I had a Groupon with Nicole and made an appt. for Dec. 30, 2015. (Her mom is the owner of Elite). Nicole was very sweet, very preggers, but she did the best precision short haircut I have had in almost 3 years! I lost my stylist of 11 years when we moved to Salem from AZ, and have had an impossible time finding a new one that understood what I wanted. Nicole took her time, and did the full service of conditioning, cut and style as per the Groupon and she was very welcoming(which doesn't always happen). AND! Actually, Nicole modified my short style and ramped it up quite a bit. The minute I walked in the house after my appointment my husband said "Wow"!....highly unusual:) I have had so many genuine compliments since then and have just made another appt. for next week and I will have her do my foils as well. I had a 3 o'clock appointment with Andrae. I was coming in because I purchased a Groupon and the last place (great clips) messed my hair up pretty bad. I went there with my 3 year old daughter about 30 min early to my appointment. Andrae was just cleaning up from his last cut, and let me come in early because he was open! He sat me down and asked what I wanted. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, I Just wanted it fixed. He did amazing! He let me bring my daughter out onto the floor and sit her on a chair, gave her some stickers, and got my cut finished up quick. He was quick but very good and professional. My hair is pretty tough to cut and make look good, and he did a phenomenal job. It reminds me of episode of King of the Hill when Hank is looking for a new barber after his reliable one failed him, and he describes how difficult his hair is to cut to LuAnne as she gets a passing grade from the teacher. He made my extremely wavy hair feel smooth, the lines look professional and sharp, and I will be going back to him for my future haircut needs. read more

My grandma bought the hair cut and conditioning Groupon for me. I called to see if I could come in asap (as I was just visiting the area) and they were able to see me that same day. When I came in for my 2 o'clock appointment I was able to be seated right around that time. Sheri, the owner, cut my hair. I wasn't sure what i wanted other then to keep as much as I could, get layers, and cut my dead ends off. And she fixed me right up. The deep condition was nice. My hair is very damaged so I need to take better care of it. But she gave me tips and suggestions for things I could do to keep my hair stronger and healthy.
