The baker was bringing out fresh empanadas from the kitchen with several options. The friendly barista brewed me a Colombian medium roast espresso which tasted excellent with just a pinch of sugar and two drops of added milk. If I didnt just engulf a cookie next door I would have tried the oversized pistachio croissant (see pic). The shop had warm light wood flooring and a comfy couch which made it a relaxing place to unwind with a cup of joe. Most of the empanada shops that I have visited seem to have decent coffee. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and continued that warm wood flooring accented by the bright white tile walls.

Cool and neat little store tucked away in the plaza. I decided to walk in before my dinner appointment. I asked for their best empenada. "Beef" he said. So I got the spicy beef and the spicy gourmet. To go. I also orders a small coffee which, he gave me on the house. This is definitely a good spot to hang out and do some m*office work while enjoying some items on the menu. Glad I came across them.

If you're looking for a perfect lunch location, head over to The Empanadas and grab yourself a mix of sweet and savory empanadas. Or order them straight to you (like I did on this particular day). I'm a savory fan so I got a chicken empanada and a cheese and onion empanada. Both were delicious! The chicken empanada was stuffed with flavor. It was a little dry so definitely get some sauce on the side, and get prepared to enjoy. The cheese and onion was also fantastic; the cheese had a tough of sweetness. Overall, a really great spot for a delicious bite.

I work nearby, so I just strolled in during my lunch break for a little midday pick-me-up. The staff is pleasant and helpful. My only suggestion is to perhaps have an allergens list for the individual baked goods. I tried to ask the staff about whether some of the treats contained nuts (in particular, the s'mores bar, and the chocolate chip cookie) as I have a peanut allergy (tree nuts are okay). There was a bit of a language barrier and the staff seemed unsure, and tried to err on the side of caution (which I appreciate). However, knowing that a s'mores bar or a chocolate chip cookie is unlikely to contain actual peanuts, I was a little frustrated because it would have been okay for me personally if it was simply that the baked goods were "processed in a factory that manufactures peanut products". Those trace amounts normally don't affect me. I feel like this was likely the case, but again, I'm glad that they just proceeded with an abundance of caution. I settled for a cheese danish even though I was really after a chocolate craving. Good on the staff for being cautious, disappointing for me that I couldn't cater to my chocolate craving. Oh well. I also ordered a Get Green smoothie, which was refreshing and delicious. The coconut water makes it super hydrating. Whether you're staying at the Del Mar hotel or just work nearby and want a little treat, this spot is a great place to stop in.

The cafe is only two months old in the Cypress Creek Station shooping plaza, but heard the chatter on social media and had to drive a slight distance to also be part of the experience. A temporary simplistic Drip Coffee sign is affixed to the exterior of the business. Upon entering, the buzz of this cafe was accurate. The establishment spewed an ultra industrial modern intimate vibe with gray polished stone flooring with an open ceiling exposing the metal rafters and a/c tubing, accented by dark green ferns on the walls and tables. The laughter from five girls at a back table echoed throughout the cafe, which was a good start. The barista was chatty and all smiles while she took my order quickly with no hiccups. The Guatemalan dark roast espresso beans are sourced from PumpHouse Coffee in WPB. It was presented in a mini cup with the Drip Coffee logo imprint - this is such a simple inexpensive marketing tool that most cafes do not take advantage of. This is another cafe with a cashless tranaction process. Understandably, tipping is digital, but at the least there should be a tip jar as an option for cash. Found sanctuary at a table with a semi comfortable low stool. The Guatemalan coffee was strong and cut it with a shot of heavy cream. Usually I consume medium roast coffee, although this mimicked a few strong Austrian blends and was sublime and appreciated. The gender neutral bathroom screamed "WoW Impressive"! Instantly I pondered, the owners took their artistic vision to another level. Spotless, spotless, spotless, more greenery with thin wooden slats covering the ceiling and the low lit led hollow rough rock mirror hovered above the gray square deep sink. Washing my hands were more of a delight than a necessity. "Clean Bathroom = Clean Kitchen". No doubt that I will return to this eatery. Great coffee and a wonderful experience.
