Popped in here for breakfast. I had a cafe con leche and a breakfast bowl(turkey eggs and cheese served with a tequeno). Def want to try their empanadas. Service was quick and courteous.

Gonzo's Empanadas is a hidden gem! I ordered six different empanadas -- Philly cheesesteak, two beef, asado negro, Cuban sandwich, and a creamy mushroom steak-- every single one was incredible. The outside was crispy, flaky, and perfectly fried, but still sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. The fillings were hot, juicy, and full of flavor -- you could tell everything was made with care. The Philly cheesesteak was easily my favorite -- rich, cheesy, and super comforting. We also tried the tequeños and they were ridiculously good -- golden, crispy on the outside, and oozing with warm cheese inside. All around, it was a fantastic experience. Flavorful food, great variety, and everything was fresh. I'd 100% go back and recommend it to anyone who loves a good empanada.

I wanted to try some empanadas from a different place. These are made to order rather than just reheated like other places. The fillings are very generous. I prefer the baked version and would recommend these if you are in the area. The bacon egg and cheese and cuban were fantastic. I saved a few other flavors to try later.

Came one morning after running an errand in this plaza. I had a discount certificate from a website that the still has them listed but apparently they don't work with anymore. Gonzo and his wife Laura were accommodating and still honored the certificate as they didn't want me to leave without getting some empanadas. They are lovely people and we had great conversations about food and kids while I waited for my empanadas to be made. They have a monthly flavor that changes as well as a large selections that can be baked or fried there or taken home frozen to prepare yourself when ready. There is also a smaller selection of ready made to go options but they are definitely more basic. They have coffee and various other beverages to grab and go along with other food items. The empanadas are a very nice size and filled well. They offer different sauces as well to compliment the empanadas. I got a half dozen and they were all tasty in their own right. My favorites were the chicken parm and Korean BBQ Chicken.

If you haven't been to Gonzo's Empanadas...well, what're you waiting for?! With over 30 flavors of empanadas, you'll be sure to find something you'll love! From the classic flavors of beef, chicken, ham/cheese to special flavors such as margherita, Korean bbq chicken, chicken spinach and Alfredo, buffalo chicken, the list just goes on and on! I ordered the margherita which was so tasty and loved that the cheese was super melty! I also ordered the special, which was the cordon blue, and wow, the flavor was so tasty! We also got the 2 empanadas with a drink and side combo where you'd choose any 2 flavor empanadas, any drink and any side! It was a great deal for $9! Also, not only do they have savory empanadas, they also have sweet ones! I had the guava and cream cheese empanada and it was so good, true south Florida flavors! Not only do they just offer empanadas (savory and sweet), but they have soups, salads, pizzas, paninis and breakfast. So many great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The space is brightly painted, well kept and clean! Definitely can't wait to go back! Go check them out and support local!!

I think it would've been nice if it melted in the cup as well, but it just cracks and then you have to pick out the chocolate pieces from the cup if you want to eat it, else it kinda just sits there as full size chocolate pieces. The chocolate itself was also very mid. Not something I'd even buy in a grocery store. Wouldn't say the crackling chocolate cup is worth it other than for an instagram picture, but the food is amazing.

The inside looks small, but it's really not, there is also seating outside. The first thing you notice is the abundance of Argentinian empanadas with all sorts of flavors to choose from. Don't let the empanadas distract you- their coffee is just as good, especially the Dulce de leche latte. I've had it hot and cold but I prefer it hot. My favorite empanada is the short rib but the chicken verdeo is just as good. My husband had the chicken curry empanada (like I said lots of flavors to choose from) and he really liked it. This second visit I wasn't sure what to get but the Barista/ cashier gave us pointers on which empanadas to go with. They have other food as well like protein shakes, breakfast, sandwiches, etc. Service is attentive, friendly, and very welcoming. This is the kind of place you need to visit multiple times because there's no way you could order everything that looks/sounds good; you'd be leaving with the display cases. With over 10 unique flavor choices, their empanadas are hands down some of the best I've ever had. It's almost impossible to describe how the crust is both flaky, yet sturdy & loaded with ingredients. They're buttery, soft & delicious. My favorite is the short rib but I also really enjoy the caprese & the ham & cheese. The fresh ingredients really make these things stand out in an area that has plenty of empanadas around. Look no further, come here for your fix. Their iced lattes & hot coffees are crafted to order. While there isn't a massive selection to choose from, they definitely do it right. Well balanced flavors, no bitterness, not too sweet. Their pastries are also great. The croissants are airy, flaky & buttery. I really liked their brownie but it sure is sweet. It's chocolatey, rich, moist & big enough to share between 2 people. They offer boxes that contain mini versions of their pastries so you can try multiple without committing to an entire item. The dining area is small but there's some tables inside & a couple outside. The employees are always very nice but service is definitely slow when there's a crowd. I prefer getting my orders to-go & I'm usually served in a reasonable time. Next time you're feeling empanadas or want a new bakery to visit, stop on by. You'll be sure to find some delicious things here.

I ordered the breaded steak with white rice, black beans and sweet fried plantains. My wife ordered the roasted pork with morros (black beans and rice cooked together) and French fries. First, the breaded steak was way thinner than it should have been. If you removed the breading from both sides of the steak and stacked it up, the breading was thicker than the steak. That thing was pounded to paper thinness. Was it tender? Yes, of course! But the flavor was hidden with the flavor or the breading (which was bland, at best). The black beans lacked flavor. I would have preferred a can of Kirby's black beans heated up. I tasted my wife's' meal, and it seems the same blandness was in effect. Perhaps I am spoiled and used to heavily seasoned dishes that contain, garlic, diced onions and peppers, cumin, black pepper and a smidgen of salt. Typically, when I bread things to be fried or baked, I season the breading so that could just be me. I will say that the portions were very good for the price. The standout was the avocado salad. Perfection on a plate! If I were in the area and hungry, like yesterday, then I would definitely stop in. Hopefully, next time we will focus on the Mexican dishes to see if they are a little more spice oriented. Finally, the service was impeccable and the ambiance, because of the time was very relaxing after a long hard day of running errands. If the owner or manager is reading this, please tell your cooks not to be shy with seasonings. Most abuelas aren't!
