I was passing by and decided to get some Empanadas. It was quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Couldn't decide what I wanted so I ended up getting cheese, beef, chicken, and chorizo. The crust was nice crispy and soft at the same time, but i wasn't impressed with the flavor. The beef did not taste like anything to me and the chicken did not taste like chicken, just lack flavor. I enjoyed the chorizo one though, you can never go wrong with chorizo

Not sure why I never tried these till now?! Low key empanada restaurant offers a multitude of corn and flour empanadas. Comes out hot & fresh and you can choose mild, spicy or jalapeño sauce for every 2 empanadas. They also offer combo deals and dessert empanadas. No tables inside, just standing only spots if you choose to eat in but mostly take out orders.

Forgot to take more pics, too busy enjoying! The staff were really nice and all of them were so good. Beef, chicken corn empanadas Spicy chicken, cheeseburger flour empanadas So delish! Def recommend and will come back to try other flavors!

Empanadas with the green sauce is a must. Many flavors to choose from, but the Cuban and hamburger is my favorite. Least favorite is the pizza, it's stuff with cheese nut a bit lacking in sauce, might as well get a real slice. Everything else is good and freshly made to order. You get sauce for every 2 you order or else it's 50cents extra for sauce.

This spot is located right off the highway so it's fairly easy to get to. The store is really clean and has a variety of empanada flavors to choose from, including both savory and sweet. Our server was very nice and our order was prepared quickly. It's takeout only so there's no seating. We ordered a mix of corn flour empanadas (chicken and chorizo) and wheat flour empanadas (spicy chicken, Cuban, chicharron, pork, chicken parmigian, and chicken bacon ranch). The chicken and chorizo corn flour empanadas were decent, although the chicken could have used a bit more flavor. Of all the wheat flour empanadas, the spicy chicken was the best and most seasoned. The pork was the next decent one although it could have used more seasoning. I was not a fan of the Cuban, which was too cheesy and overwhelming. The chicharron was a bit too much as it had peas and rice as well. I was not a fan of the chicken bacon ranch or chicken parmigian and found the flavors overwhelming. Overall, the empanadas were underwhelming and, while the flavors were interesting, they failed to deliver tastewise. I probably won't be back and recommend checking out another spot if you're craving empanadas.

We commemorated National Empanada Day by ordering a variety of empanadas via Uber Eats. We ordered eight different kinds, and the delivery order was on time. Our favorites = worth ordering or would order again: Italian Sausage Guava and Cheese Greek Corn, potato, and peas Least favorite Biagra - shrimp and crab - imitation crab does not mix well with real baby shrimp Middle of the road, but wouldn't get it again Sweet plantain and cheese - it was ok, wouldn't get it again Cheese Empanada- definitely lots of cheese but must be consumed on the spot. Chicken Parmesan - the bite was good but had better I saw they have catering and mini empanadas, which is definitely worth exploring.

While shopping in the neighborhood, we dropped into The Empanada Spot for a quick snack. Ambience: they are currently takeout only, with the corresponding decor. Food: we ordered some ground beef corn flour empanadas. They were ok, but the beef filling could have benefitted from more seasoning. The green jalapeño hot sauce was definitely a hit.

Empanadas are tasty, fresh and warm. The corn crust has a great texture and the wheat versions have a nice crunch. There are a variety of fillings but my favorites are the fajita chicken and the crab and shrimp. The green sauce is a little spicy but tasty with the empanadas. I also got a breakfast steak platter which was disappointing. The steak was dry and the egg was overcooked. The Colombian platter looked impressive. The beans were delicious and the plantains were cooked perfectly. The chicken was on the verge of being dry but it was okay with the moisture from the bean sauce. Overall a great spot for empanadas. Pass on the other dishes.

As the name implies, if you are in the mood for empanadas, this is THE SPOT!! I got the beef, chicken and chili and beef empanadas. They smelled so good that I ate the chicken before I could take a pic. All of them were very good with a lot of filling. The chili and beef does have a kick so don't say I did not warn you. We also got two dessert empanadas, the caramel and cheese, and the USA. Of the two, I would highly recommend the caramel and cheese; the sweet and salty combo hits the spot! This is a little bit away but we will be making the trip again soon.

Love their empanadas (veggies, chicken) Not sure if I would come back now after finding a piece of clear rubber INSIDE my chicken empanada. Mistakes happen, but eat at your own risk!

Staff greeting and welcoming you with a warm smile when you walked in. Ordered at the counter, would take 10-15 min to make the sandwich. Ambiance wise = Love the hipster comic-styled wallpaper. Super genuine staff and great service as well. Can pay with cash or card, but there's a small service fee being charged for card. Besides getting the Angry Nonna Sandwich ($15.50), also ordered the regular fries that came with spicy mayo ($6.53) + a Krave It pineapple pop soda ($3.96) to wash everything down. Staff brought everything to the table even though it was only self serve. 1) Angry Nonna Sandwich: The mildly spicy sauce was delicious and savory. Chicken parm was seasoned well and not salty. Bread could've been a little more crunchy imo. Portion size was plentiful and definitely enough for a full meal. 2) Regular Hand Cut Fries: So many widely-cut fries and more fries than I'd imagined for a single order. Worth it! Size wise was like those halal rice platter in aluminum foil container. I got full midway but still finished the whole thing. Fries were definitely freshly prepared and made. Could've been just a little bit more crispier. Spicy mayo was the perfect sauce to dip the fries in. 3) Krave It Pineapple Soda: Refreshing to taste with the sandwich & fries. Don't need a bottle opener to pop off the sodas. Just need to twist it off yourself. Easily done! Their sodas are made of cane sugar. The fizziness felt good against the back of my throat. I plan to keep going back whenever I'm in the area by myself or with friends. Would recommend this spot to other Yelpers, family and friends. They're opened to late hours everyday. Lastly, don't forget to tip the hardworking staff working there!
