My new go-to place for awards, trophies and engraving. No more shopping for this stuff online. I rushed down there on a Saturday to see if they could fix a trophy I bought online. As I waited in line, I saw what a wonderful job the owner did helping the customers in front of me. When she got to me, she even waved the rush fee because I needed to take it with me. I went to The Engraving Store right before Christmas and was very happy I did. I had found special flasks that the men in my family had been wanting. The finish was odd, so I wasn't sure if they could be engraved. They did an amazing job and I had all of them back within 24 hours. Been coming here for over 25 years. High time I wrote a glowing review of the store and its owner, Tim Case. Tim and his family are shopkeepers of the old-school. By which I mean they go out of their way to do a great job and make sure that the customer is satisfied. So nice to see family-run store in this day and age that prides itself on customer service. and as if that weren't enough, they are the best engravers in town. Almost went to another place closer to home to have something engraved yesterday but it didn't feel right. I found this place on Yelp and it definitely lives up to the rating. Great customer service, turn around time, prices, quality of work, and most of all people. You may be waiting for a "but" to come in here, but I truly have nothing negative to say, it was a great experience and a breath of fresh air after a number of other places I had been to. This is my go to place for anything engraving. I work for a Design company that has the highest expectations and little knowledge about what's possible let alone lead times. The Engraving Store has never let any of our dreams down. When a coworker recently asked for my engraving contact it was very easy for me to suggest The Engraving Store. I was not in the loop of what was the purpose or the needs of the request but not shocked to hear when they understood while engraving the plaque it was for "Make a Wish Foundation" they said no charge. The Engraving Store as you might have read is a family owned and operated establishment and their high values extend to their quality of craftsmanship and business ethics. I've never done Yelp in my life but when you come across a gem like them it needs to be communicated. Trust me they won't let you down. read more

After reading the reviews, we figured this would be THE place to have our box engraved. It was a piece from our wedding ceremony. We walked in and the girl at the counter was very sweet. We were asking her questions about how big the letters would be or if we needed to decide how big we wanted them. Our item was rather large and we didn't want the lettering to be huge. The employee helping us walked over to the woman doing the engraving and asked her about the size. I don't know exactly how the message was relayed to her, but all of a sudden she yells over the sound of the equipment, "No! You don't get to tell me how big or small to make it! I decide that! Just give her your information." First of all, why don't you stop what you are doing and come talk to us instead of yelling. Secondly, if you did that you would realize we weren't "trying to tell YOU what to do." We were simply inquiring. Thirdly, you were extremely rude to paying customers who really should have some say about what you are going to do to their personal item. The nice employee gave this immediate look of embarrassment and kept apologizing for the other woman's rudeness. We finished placing our order hoping that the reviews were right and we didn't make the wrong choice. We went shopping in a nearby store and by the time we came back out my husband said he really didn't have a good feeling about the whole thing and didn't want to leave our property with this woman who wasn't concerned at all about the work that would be done, our personal item, and any questions we had. I agreed. We walked back in to the store. Neither of them noticed us for a minute. We stood there waiting patiently, when the rude woman said "It's the people with the box" to the other girl. How about...Hi, can I help you? It's simply really, we weren't asking you to kiss the ground we walk on, just treat us with the same respect you demanded. So the more pleasant employee helped us and we told her we would just like our box back and changed our minds. She said okay, apologized again and handed us our item. Well, the rude woman decided she finally wanted to give a crap. She walked over and asked us why. I told her why and she started to talk and give us an excuse. I cut her off and told her "Listen, you asked why. I told you, we aren't looking for any reasons from you at this point. We're done here, good bye" and she continued to shout out after us while we walking out of the store that "she was rushing to get orders done in time." We will not be walking back into that place ever again. I am truly a fan of helping the smaller businesses, but not when you treat people like this. read more

After reading all the wonderful reviews, I decided to give this place a shot. I called the store and told them what I was looking for and what I wanted to do. They did not have the product in the store but told me to bring in my own and they could do the engraving for about $12. The next couple of days I did some more calling around and looking for what I wanted and The Engraving Store seemed to be the best price. I called again and told them exactly what I wanted engraved and again was told $12, so decision made - I made a special trip over to that side of town because of the price and great reviews. When I got there, the price changed dramatically. I understand a phone quote cannot be accurate, but I expect it to be somewhere in the ballpark. When I got to the store, the price changed to $15 plus $.65 a letter, which would have ended up costing me $36. I asked them what happened to the $12 and she insisted she is the only girl that works there and she would never tell anyone $12 and that the real price is $25 plus $.65 a letter, but she was giving me a discount. Disappointed that the phone information was no where near close to accurate. I took my item to Things Remembered and ended up paying $16.99. read more

I just stopped there to ask about engraving something and I will never go again in this store. The lady was beyond rude. That is the second time it happens to me, and the last. Which is too bad because the engraver did a good job the first time. So be prepared to be ill treated if you go there. read more

I got two hydroflasks engraved. The work was great, and the counter staff and owner were both super friendly and helpful.

I tried a few other places to get a ring engraved, and none of them could even do it. Here, I took a ring in for engraving at 5pm on one day and it was done by 5pm the next day -- and it looks great. Service was friendly. I called ahead of time and got a cheerful, helpful person on the phone, and the service was just as friendly and helpful when I showed up at the store. Easy transaction and quality work. The guy I dealt with really seemed to know and care about his work. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. read more

They were the nicest most honest people! I called them last week explaining over the phone what I had pictured in my head and Daisy told me they could make what I was looking for. I had been online looking for it ad no one could do everything the way I wanted by June 17th. Not only did they do EXACTLY what I wanted but had it put together in 24 HOURS!!! The engraving itself turned out nicely, however, the steel box that the engraving was done on got discolored from the engraving process and it ruined the look of the box. It took the finish off the metal and now half the box is engraved with an unfinished background compared to a finished shiny background where it is not engraved. Very unprofessional looking. read more
