She also called about 30 minutes later than the time she told me she would, and at one point she didn't even seem to know the time difference in California. What bothered me the most was her attitude. There were several moments where her tone came across as rude and even a little snarky. As someone who's been through an accident, you're already dealing with enough stress. The last thing you need is someone making you feel like you're just another call on a list. I've worked in customer service before, so I know how important tone and empathy are. During the call, I even told her, "Please don't make smart or snarky remarks when you're talking to potential clients." Unfortunately, the conversation never improved, and I ended up hanging up because I was so disappointed. I hope the company provides better training for the people handling these initial calls.
