If the lawyer gets an attitude when asked if there was an emergency or medical concern preventing an email response, don't hire the lawyer. If the lawyer emails you a year later with a lame dental excuse, still, do not hire the lawyer. Counselor, I hope you close this case, and work on making your people skills as sharp as your knowledge of law.
