They have 8 or more rooms and only 1 employee who has to work the front desk, show people their rooms, take photos and give out clues. It's not digital at all so to get your clue you have to press a button and wait for them to come in the room which kinda ruins the whole escape aspect. The first time we pressed it we waited at least 3 mins, the second time we waited 7 mins. One of our keys was missing so we couldn't continue to level 3 and the employee had no clue where it was and wasn't even able to give us a clue based on what we were asking him. Had I paid $10-15 I'd be less disappointed but definitely not worth any more than $15.

It's inside an old church with wonderful, tall stained-glass windows and historical plaques, and the clues are perfect for the context. Also, the story line is not an escape but a rush to find stolen loot, which we thought was a fun way to go. And the folks running the game seemed as excited as we were which made it all a great experience.

They were open by appointment only and we found out that we were the only group for that day, so we appreciated that he opened for us! We could tell that this was a new escape room location, with the only other one in Kingston just across the street, and when we went, there was only one room (The Photo Lab). We were greeted by the super friendly owner and got to chatting about how he started the business etc. We were impressed to find out that he had designed it all himself. The room was really different from ones we had done before in Toronto. Some of the clues were clever, but some of them we didn't catch. In the end, we had to ask for some help because we overlooked some areas. Being this location's first room, it was a fun experience and definitely has potential to become better with the creativity of the owner. I recommend everyone to give it a try and I believe they are looking for beta testers for their next room. Happy escaping!

That was fine since two of us (myself and my fiancé) were seasoned Escapers and our two friends had never been. It was a great room that was exactly what I expected and absolutely fit for newbies and experienced escapers alike. It was a perfect taste for those getting their feet wet for the first time . Both of the beginners in our group were hooked after that!! We cannot wait to go again together. We've now converted two more to the "dark side" lol. Aside from the experience, we got a chance to speak to one of the co-owners and Game Master. He was very friendly and informative! Actually....he was so awesome that my fiancé and I decided, on the 5 hour drive home, that we were going to open our OWN Escape Room one day (hopefully)!!! Keep up the great work. We had an hour in the room and 3 clues ( we could get more but it would not count as a success). There were a lot of puzzles to solve and they were all well thought out. We did not succeed but we still had a very good time. The cost was 25$ per person but worth it considering the quality of the escape room. They only have two rooms at the moment and I would definitely want to try the other one.
