New nightclub and two words: Huge basement. Yep, I came here with a group of girls cause we were out for a bachelorette party. Woo-hoo! Yeah I was the organizer for the night. We arrived and had to download an app for free entry. Sorry I forgot the name of the app, I removed it right away once I used it. Sucks for those who doesn't have a phone and have to pay $5. Also they have to wait on a different line. We walked downstairs to the basement level and you could hear the loud music blasting. To your left is The Exchange Nightclub and the right is Alibi Lounge. If you youngsters like to dance your butt off, turn left and if you mid 30s like to enjoy great cocktails and sit on nice booths, turn right. This crowd has a great mixture of people from all races and ages. Most girls and guys are dressed up. But it is a great place for dancing. The big dance floor is in the middle and it plays awesome music. Their drinks are inexpensive according to one of the girls from the bachelorette party. I didn't pay much attention to the drinks I was focusing on the bride, making sure she had a great time. The only thing I hope they had was a big sign for the bathroom because the place is big already and anyone could get lost. So, it is located across from the bar of The Exchange Nightclub and next to Alibi Lounge if that helps:) No parking here, just valet for $15 or take an Uber.

Almost five stars but they recently started charging covers for the Exchange. My friends and I have been going out the Exchange for the last two years and there has been a cover until now. It's $10 but if you have their app, Bueno, and show them your express entry code then you can get in for $5 I believe there is also new management who put cover charges into place but they got real good music playing there now. There was a good mix of hip pop/throwbacks/pop/edm. The dj knew how to mix up the genres well and switch up the music when it wasn't working out. FYI. The restrooms are behind the main bar that's a lit hallway that looks like it leads two closeted booths but there are restroom back there. It's pretty clean. Also, there's a second bar to the far left of the Exchange that generally isn't as congested as the main bar if don't mind walking through the crowd to to other side.

This place is awesome! The decor really makes you feel relaxed and like you are at a 1950's mofia secret party! The furniture is comfortable and stylish, the lights are dim making everyone seem like they have a secret, and the staff dress like they are from the zoot suit era. The drinks here also follow the same theme which adds to the feeling of the place. If you are looking for a swanky place where you can not feel weird about dressing up for a night out and you can hear your friend talk in front of you, this is a great place to try out.

My coworkers and I checked out the new Alibi Lounge today and were thoroughly impressed with everything from the cave-like seating cubbies to the smooth, loungy atmosphere and great happy hour prices for higher end food to the friendly and warm bar staff! We tried the dollar oysters (delish!) lobster guac, tuna poke (giant portion!) and the Korean BBQ Lettuce Cups. All were hits with the table and we'll definitely be back for more. Hands down our favorite part of the experience was our outstandingly hospitable bartender, Kirk. Like all the staff we encountered he was knowledgeable, unpretentious, and really fun to spend a few hours with!

Overall this place treats you like crap unless you're well known or celebrity. Bartenders greedy on tips: cover charge for nothing

I don't understand charging cover, opening at 10pm, being okay having the place be dead until midnight and then closing at 2am.

You can be dressed nicely and sober and they won't let you in without a reason. Very rude, terrible service and do not recommend.

For the burgers, you can choose between the impossible patty or the black bean patty. For the chicken sandwiches, you can choose grilled or fried vegan chicken. For beverages, they have cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer, THC drinks, milkshakes, pop, lemonade, and more! There are so many options which is great! The fries are crispy! One of my friends went with the ranch fries which were good, but in my opinion it was not worth the $2 upcharge for the amount of seasoning that comes on them. I would recommend sticking with the regular fries and ordering a side of ranch as a dipping sauce instead! This is the only place that I'm aware of where you can get a vegan juicy lucy! It is very cheesy, and it's fun that there's a meatless version of a MN classic! It was messy to eat though so make sure to have a napkin nearby! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and would go back! I think it's be a great place for hanging out with friends, especially if there are any vegans or vegetarians in the group!

Upon entering we were greeted by a woman who was clearly wearing multiple hats as she seemed rushed, a bit off putting and quite frankly distracted. It was Juneteenth the middle of the afternoon and there were maybe 6 people at the bar and one other table besides ours with 2 diners. The person seating us was also our server and the bartender. Menu is small but the items we ordered were all fabulous! Every single one! The collard green dip with cornbread pita chips was absolutely delicious - Think spinach artichoke dip but soul food! The salmon croquettes with lemon herb aioli and arugula salad that accompanied were fresh and light! The catfish sandwich with fries was hot, crispy and well seasoned with fresh lettuce and tomato on a perfectly tender brioche bun. I want to return so bad for the food but it was clear this host, server, bartender and partial cook was pulled in too many directions and that severely compromised our service and gave us stand off energy as first time patrons. I looked it up and she is actually one of the owners. She came across as irritated especially once we didn't order any alcoholic drinks first and then very short and curt following. What took the cake was her telling us she was leaving for the day and needed to close our tab while we were eating. Didn't ask did we want to order anything else and there was another server taking her place and an empty restaurant! My partner had to put his sandwich down wipe his hands pull out his wallet while she stood there impatiently. Then proceeded to linger around hugging her regular bar patrons. It was clear this is a "regulars" spot and if you're not one you're rolling the dice on the service you may or may not get. We were patient and didn't complain because it was Juneteenth and our intention to support black restaurants all weekend. I have many previous years in the industry as a cook, host and GM and I was stunned to know that she was one of the owners when I looked it up. Had planned to return for live music but unfortunately the off putting energy and unwelcoming vibe may have squashed that possibility. I hope they improve service because the food is delicious and deserves attention from a larger and more sophisticated audience.

This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs. The basement part which is Parlour has a weird smell like a locker room smell so that's why I don't like to eat down here.
