Of course, when I got there, it happened to be the "last day" of a $1 down 7 day free trial, which I could supposedly cancel within the 7 days with no penalty charge. BUYER BEWARE. Bait and switch!!! Predatory business practice!! I was told "the annual maintenance fee will come out 60 days after signing" and the monthly dues wouldnt be charged until 30 days after signing. Those terms provided by one of their employees completely changed once I provided my ACH information. Any calls to corporate aren't staffed and they refer you to your local gym. They have stopped responding to me and have made unauthorized charges to my card. Pretty slimy. Nothing like trying to retain new guests, work with me, or even ask why I wanted to cancel in the first place! Take your business elsewhere! Hot yoga class was staffed by someone with limited experience. Barre class was staffed by a sub. Facilities are clean. Business ethics, basic decency, and responsiveness - abhorrent.

Yet, I am so happy with my choice to switch over to Crunch. You definitely have to find the right times to avoid a crowded gym, but even at the busy time everyone is upbeat and kind. I am able to set up appointments my busy schedule, and always feel like I have worked hard. The staff is super friendly and capable of guiding anyone; someone who has never worked out before, someone who needs to work on flexibility, and even those who want to set goals to lift heavy. Even if you do not choose a trainer, they are willing to give you a quick pointer, or show you how to use a piece of equipment. The equipment is clean and well maintained. Everyone seems to clean the equipment after use. Love this!! I never feel like I am fighting or waiting for treadmills, ellipticals, or weight machines. Fellow members are very courteous, a polite hello, and then they let you work out. The manager, Amy and owner, Adrian are fantastic. I bet they know everyone who walks in because they always say hello! Oh yes, and if you work out on Thursdays you get to celebrate your workout with a free banana. Gotta love banana Thursdays! I wanted to end the contract as I have elderly parents who need a lot of my time. Between that and work, i wasn't getting to the gym. I called the manager and he told me I need a doctors note to quit? What a scam. I was lied to. Looking online there are hundreds of other customers in similar situations with this Franchise. Wish I would have seen that before, but I made the mistake of trusting the manager. Find any other franchise to go to.
