Life-changing! I never thought I'd say this about a gym/studio…read more I've been a member at another gym for a very long time, but I rarely went. I've never liked or enjoyed exercise. However, as I got older and started going through menopause, both my body and my doctors, family, and friends were giving me the same message that I was losing muscle, strength, and energy. Knowing myself, I was very skeptical when I first visited The Well Studio. But this place has been completely life-changing for me. It's so much more than just a clean facility with great equipment and a wide selection of classes. There is something truly special about the people here. I don't know how they found such amazing, encouraging instructors and staff. Even the other members are incredibly supportive, friendly, and fun. I felt the positive energy the moment I walked through the door, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a good first impression. During my 2-weeks trial, I ended up going every single day to try different classes except for two Sundays and I realized what I felt was 100% real. As soon as my trial ended, I immediately signed up for a monthly membership because I love this place so much. I've never enjoyed working out this much, and I actually look forward to going every day. My family and friends are in absolute shock hearing this come out of my mouth and honestly, so am I! If you're like me and need extra motivation, positive energy, and a genuinely welcoming community, this is the place for you. I couldn't recommend it more!

It was my first time attending, and she made sure to make everyone feel included and welcome. She created a safe spot for everyone to learn and practice yoga. I've seen her be rude about peoples' kids or about accents. My friend and I won the challenge and she was so visibly mad at our weigh-in and walked off because we succeeded. She was not happy for us and it was by no thanks to her that we succeeded. . To top it off she bounced the check she paid my friend with! I recently wished I could revisit there but I know already what she's like. Its unfortunate because everything else about it is good. Maybe if she was behind the scenes but she's very involved so it does make a difference.

I believe the positive reviews on Yelp are left by individuals that are required to do so in order to get their deposits back from the 6 Week Program. I do not understand how she is still in business. She calls people fat, laughs at them, and refuses to provide modifications. She assumes whatever injury you are explaining is made up.

Before the session, they take the time to talk with you in such a calm and thoughtful way -- asking about your health, past experience, how you're feeling, and your goals. It never feels like you're just placed wherever there's availability. Instead, they recommend what actually fits you best -- so you feel comfortable, safe, and supported. The sessions themselves are both professional and gentle. The instructors are always attentive -- they carefully watch your form, make small adjustments, guide you, and support you throughout. And they do it in such a kind, respectful way that you feel encouraged, not pressured. One of my favorite things is the small group size. It creates this almost private-session feeling. I arrived and they asked if I had grippy socks and asked that I purchase them for safety reasons. They had plenty to choose from. The class size was very small (only 2 of us) so we got a ton of hands on attention and Grecia really made sure we were focused on the correct muscles for each exercise. The class was about 50 minutes long. I definitely would take a class from here again and would recommend to others!

The instructor Leslie was very kind and helpful, all the people in the class were very friendly too! The wall with the mirrors and lights is beautiful. It's very clean and everyone wipes their equipment after the workout. I really felt like I had a great workout from this class both during and after. I will come back but especially to take a class with Leslie because I liked her! The pricing is a bit expensive but that isn't unusual for Pilates reformers classes. It's clean, well stocked but the stations are very crowded because they keep a stationary bike right up against each Reformer. You have to adjust and move the bikes as you do different motions s not to bang into them. I've had some good and less than classes- Marie Ver Haar and Leslie Velasques were great. They explained things well and checked on everyone for proper form, leaving me feeling like a had a whole body workout and feeling good. Another instructor spent a great amount of time on the springboard/jump board thing. Like A LOT of time. My knee was pretty irritated and the rest of my body was just along for the ride. I won't do that class again. O8verall, this is a nice place with good equipment and some good trainers. I think I'll stick with Marie and Leslie V. for best results. I wish there was a changing room for members to change clothes before or after or at least a place other than the floor to put your personal items while exercising.

There's a common misconception when it comes to CrossFit and the social media doesn't do it any…read morejustice. We've all seen countless numbers of CrossFit fails on Instagram or Facebook and that can be misleading. You know, the quirky pull-ups, the rounded back deadlifts and failed snatches. The list goes on and on. But after being persuade to try the one week free trial I quickly fell in love with the programming and I have been attending the morning class consistently every since. There are three stages in the class. Each day you'll start off with a warm-up, technique and then the actual workout or WOD. Sometimes the warm-up feels like the actual workout but hey you're getting more bang for your buck. I think of the technique portion as the anti gym fail portion. This is the opportunity to go over the movements and coordination with your coach. Each member will get checked on to make sure the appropriate weight is being used and they'll make sure you execute each rep correctly. In my opinion, it's a huge preventative for injuries. The variety of workouts is awesome. Each day is something different. One day you could be doing a lot more compound movements, the next might be calisthenics and then the following day might be more cardio intensive. If you're worried about your fitness level, there are scale options. I'll be the first one to admit that I can barely do any pull-ups and I can't even do any double unders. But there is a scale option, time for improvement and a killer workout. All the members are friendly and encouraging. Everybody is on a different fitness level and there are no intimidation factors at all. All the coaches are friendly and attentive. I suggest trying out their free trial and see how you'll like it. At the end you'll get a hell of a workout. What do you have to lose?

Upon reading the reviews and communicating with the staff we scheduled a trial workout. We went in, were greeted by the staff, shown the facility, and began our workout. The facility was crowded but very clean (there are multiple things happening in the evening classes-girls volleyball etc.). The workout kicked our butts since we have not done Crossfit in over a year and a half to two years. Regardless, it was a great work out! Everyone in the class was super sweet and the coach was really motivating. He knew that we were just coming back to Crossfit and did not push to the extreme, rather encouraged us and believed in us. Although we ended up not signing up for the gym, mainly because of the time it would take us to get to the gym every evening or morning, we loved the environment and atmosphere. If we lived just a tad bit closer, we would have definitely signed up. It is a great, drama-free, accepting, and welcoming environment to all. If you are looking for a box, look no further!
