The line can be a bit longer for this one as the loading and unloading process takes a few more minutes that some of the other rides due to the amount of flower pots available. But my kids will wait as they love the thrill high above the ground!

This is a great starter ride for small ones getting used to amusement parks that the parents can ride too. One tip! The Cookie Drop is usually operated by the same staff that runs two other rides in the area so if it is closed check back again after you ride other rides as the staff is probably rotating. The American Adventure is the 30 minute shit down, in AC, show located at the America pavilion. The point of the show is themed to the history of America, the big moments in our history. You can start by heading into the building, in the atrium, there are benches, painting and exhibits to look at. You can also catch the Voices of Liberty which is a singing group and they are amazing. A lot of people will come in here to just sit and get out of the heat. There are a few shows throughout the day. The American Adventure show always starts after the voices of liberty, so I would recommend checking times and doing both at once. There are a few shows throughout the day. The American Adventure also does not have that many shows. There are large gaps in between the show times. So if you are wanting to see it, check the times. To get to the theatre, you will have to take the stairs or escalator to the second floor. There is an elevator for wheelchairs. Once inside, the theatre is massive, it is really large with tons of rows and tons of seats in each row. I think it might be the largest theatre on Disney property. I don't think you will need to "line up" like other attractions or shows. It will seat everyone that wants to go. The actual show is pretty long, it is about 30 minutes. The show is a mix of screen and many animatronics that are moving and changing as it goes through the story of America. Personally, it is one of my favorite in the park. I love it and want to see it each visit to EPCOT. One of the best things is this show in the summer. Their AC is kicking and it is so relaxing when it is so hot outside. I have actually fallen asleep as well because of the AC and just being so hot outside. I do see many people take naps during the show. However, the show is actually really good, I would say try to watch it. If you are a history fan then this is your show. You must see it! I do tend to see that kids get bored and families usually leave. The people left are usually the older crowd and adults. I do think it is a great lesson for kids but younger kids are going to want to go. I personally love it, I would recommend seeing it at least once! ACES!

The atrium allows for the perfect sound and the show is done throughout the day. It will usually start before the American Adventure starts. Once you head inside the theatre, you do need to take the stairs or escalator to the second floor. They do have elevators for wheelchairs. Once inside the theatre, you will see the massive size. It is a huge theatre that pretty expands two floors. This is not a show you need to line up for, everyone will fit. I don't think I have ever been here when someone got turned away due to no seats. The show is pretty long, it includes many animatronics throughout. It is basically going through the big milestones in American History, what made America what it is today. I enjoy the show, it's personally not my absolute favorite show but its good. We see it a few times a year. What is really great is the AC and you get to sit down. This is one of our favorite shows in the summer. When its hotter than the sun in Florida and you just want to escape the heat, this is perfect. It is about 25-30 minutes. It is one of the longer running shows on Disney property. If you are a history fan then is definitely a show you will want to see. Truly you can get some really delicious food here during Mardi Gras time. And I'm normally pretty skeptical of theme park food because especially here it's not the best overall, but Mardi Gras is different. Now, there are still a few things that aren't great (I'd stay away from the beignets, what a joke, and even the King Cake is lackluster), but there's just as much that's awesome. Every year they feature 10-12 countries that each have their own stall and serve famous delicacies from that region. It's really fun to see what's featured each year and try different things. Puerto Rico has consistently been a really good option, and outside of that you have to just go based on your own palette and honestly the workers can give you the real recommendations too. Then there's the parade. If you have kids, they will go crazy for this. The parade takes place every day with colorful, sparkly floats, enthusiastic dancers and the opportunity to collect beads thrown from the floats (if you know Mardi Gras you know that's a big deal). From the food to the parade to the fun art and hard work that goes into Universal's Mardi Gras year after year, it's a spectacular event that's not to be missed!

I had gone into Epcot's Canada pavilion to see the Canada Far and Wide in Circle Vision 360…read moreattraction, and it ended up being a very nice low key break in an otherwise busy day at Epcot! The show is shot using the traditional circle vision 360 degree format which has your image surrounded by a ring of screens, and you're standing inside that circle. If you've never been through one of these before, it will take some getting used to, but surprisingly, it does work pretty well for scenic type movies such as those depicting the Canadian Rockies and Niagara Falls. At times, especially during large sweeps across the Canadian Rockies, or the falls at Niagara, it can even feel immersive enough to believe you are literally standing there. This film looks more current than several of the others at World Showcase. The footage looked very clean, the cuts were seamless in the attraction too! The best part was balancing both rural and urban settings. You see the beautiful large outdoors such as mountains, trees, ocean, but also small parts of cities such as Toronto. That way you have an overall view of what each country's experiences are! Still, as with every other Circle Vision film, this one is also a walk around type of experience where you will be able to see around you while watching the film. This attraction is inside and has air conditioning and is generally less crowded than most areas of Epcot so it can be a nice area to relax and get out of the sun! Definitely worth stopping in if you're nearby and want something relaxing that still feels worthwhile!

Anyway, they have picnic tables that have a roof above it. I guess a pavilion, but almost all of them are single picnic tables, so let's call them personal pavilions. Overlooking Kennedy Space Center across the Indian River, William J Manzo Memorial Park is a small,…read moretreesy, county park with tables, picnic shelters, & restrooms. The Indian River offers great views of many launch pads & the Vehicle Assembly Building, as well as playful dolphins & other wildlife. Both pads of Launch Complex 39 are easily visible from Manzo Park, which is why I've been here to watch three launches. Public bathrooms are available when the park is open, though often I have found toilet paper to be lacking. This was again the case on my last visit, though soap & paper towels were sufficient. The ladies' restroom has 2 stalls and one sink. Note, the facilities don't have A/C or heat. Maybe 5 years ago, hubs & I were driving through Titusville, after a launch we were there to see had been scrubbed that day, and we passed this park. I remembered the view, but had never visited not related to a launch. So we stopped. Though we were there less than an hour, I had never seen so many dolphins at one time! They were clearly frolicking & I thoroughly enjoyed watching. My first visit to this park was on Friday, May 14 2010 for STS-132, which was originally scheduled to be the last launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis (now resting at KSCVC). My sister & I underestimated traffic and ended up on US 1 very close to launch time. Spotting this park, she quickly pulled onto a residential side street to park, & we briskly walked over to the park, with mere minutes to spare. Our view of 39-A was as perfect as possible from Titusville! What an amazing view... And the SOUND! So about a year later, on Friday, July 8, 2011, I knew I had to see the final Space Shuttle launch in-person. Announced a few months after the launch I'd witnessed in 2010, this was actually Atlantis' last flight, as well as the final mission of the space shuttle program. Again launching from LC 39-A, STS-135 would be the last launch of humans from US soil for nearly 9 years. Astronaut Doug Hurley was on this flight, though no one knew then that he would help usher in the next generation of human-rated launch vehicles, built by a company in the private sector. The last Saturday in May 2020, we ended up parking near Manzo Park to watch #LaunchAmerica, SpaceX's first attempt at a crewed launch. OK, second attempt, since Wednesday's launch was scrubbed due to lightning in the vicinity. BUT, this was the first launch of humans from US soil since the Space Shuttle program had ended. My daughter rode with me, and my friend followed in her own car to maintain social distancing. We found a spot for $10 each to park with easy exiting & camera surveillance, right across US 1 from Manzo Park. About 20 minutes before launch, we donned our PPE & walked the half block to watch. The park was packed with excited spectators, and we were not disappointed that day... another great view of a flawless launch! Even though this was a smallish Falcon 9 rocket, the sound was just as amazing as it rolled across the water in waves. William J Manzo Memorial Park is obviously one of my favorite vantage points for watching a launch from Titusville. And this park is also a quiet respite on non-launch days in any season. Of course, I'll be back.
